Kesto Masonry

Kesto was very knowledgeable and professional. He offered different solutions, and was willing to listen to my idea of what I would like. There was no pressure to go with more expensive options, and no pressure to hire him immediately. He was very flexible. Price was reasonable. The job was started and completed exactly when he said it would be. It took 3 days to complete. They cleaned up well. I work from home and was not disturbed once while they worked. I would hire again in the future.

Because we did not have a cap on our stucco chimney for a few years from a previous repair, the upper 3 feet of chimney was in very poor condition. The top (where the crown should have been) was deteriorated to a point that large portions of cinderblock surrounding the terra cotta lining was completely gone, in addition to large cracks in the stucco from a previous repair. We chose Kesto to complete the repair mostly from the recent good review on Angie's List and his quick response. From day 1 of contacting Kesto either via phone or email, he would respond either same day or early the next (extremely unusual from our vast experience with contractors). His crew showed up on site for the repair on the date and time promised (also unusual) The job that was done was phenomenal. The quote was to have the top 3 feet of chimney repaired with the warning that it may not look uniform with the bottom of the chimney. We were willing to live with that. However, we were astonished to find that they had not only repaired the top, but also enclosed the entire chimney from top to bottom in mesh and completely resurfaced it so that it looked completely uniform. The chimney looks nearly brand new now. The stucco applied was cleanly edged to the flashing and siding with absolutely no smearing anywhere--we greatly appreciated the care that they took to make it as neat as possible. They left no debris on the roof nor the lawn and was careful not to damage the roof when removing the remaining cinderblock and lining (the chimney stack is surrounded by roofing on all sides). I would highly recommend Kesto with any future masonry job. It was a pleasure doing business with them. A+ service in every category.

It took us a long time to find a mason who wanted to do the job, Kesto came out in Oct-13 and gave us our quote, but because of falling temps and poor weather we decided to put the work off until April-14 he honored the same quote and came out when we requested. We could not be happier with the work that was performed. They cleaned up on a daily basis. Very friendly, if you need any mason work done these are the guys to do it.

He did a great job. He also filled in cracks that he saw. He was great.

He was responsive. He came over and gave us an estimate.
