They removed the old stoop in one day and replaced it the second day.

I called them first and then they called me back to schedule an appointment. On the appointment day, they said that they don’t just do installation work. My overall experience with them was average. They were responsive to my query. The guy called me an hour before the scheduled appointment to tell me that he wouldn’t be coming out. I submitted an online inquiry and they called me back within a day or two. I probably wouldn’t consider using their services in the future. It was more of lack of understanding on part of their administrative staff that the work being requested wasn’t performed by the company.

I was happy with it. They listened to what we wanted. They did the work pretty quickly. They worked with specifications on things I wanted to change. They were good at troubleshooting and figuring out how to get what I wanted. The one issue I had was that they had one worker who had not done a lot of tile work. We had subway tile work done in the bathroom. They didn't necessarily do a good job with that.

It took a little longer than expected but overall everyting came out beautiful. Another thing is that I had to fight to get what was originally promised.

Overall, it went well. They were professional and the quality of the work they did was above average, but not perfect.

Started with estimate from Daniel Falato, he's went over each detail of redoing our steps. He showed all licenses, and insurance. Wrote out and went over every detail with myself and my husband. He also secured us a loan and handled all the paper work. Dan called when work about to start and showed up to check out work in progress. The work was done on time, and cleaned up area when completed. Workers where professional and performed all work detailed on quote.

It started with me interviewing and briefing over 15 contractors on exactly what I needed done, but more importantly - my expectations and my attention to detail. American Home Remodeling was # 11 on the list (purely coincidental) and I knew IMMEDIATELY - they were the firm I was most comfortable with. First, they knowledge that the salesman brought to the table was like no other. He knew an exceptional amount of information about everything. As compared to the first 10 who tried to "hard sell" me with price discounts. Vic clearly understood the direction I was moving in and what impressed me the most was - he had OUTSTANDING IDEAS that made me even more excited about the job. There was instant credibility. Vic listened to everything I wanted to do and within 24 hours had a detailed estimate for me. Even where I had concern, Vic walked me through and worked with me where necessary. What I really appreciated was Vic connecting the cost:value. I knew I would get an EXCELLENT job with little to no aggravation. Next was Vic committing to a date to start. Vic's crew was there the date promised and EXCEEDED ALL EXPECTATIONS from that point forward. To top it all off, making my head as clear as could be, Vic checked on the jobs RELIGIOUSLY and if you can believe this - Vic was CALLING ME with updates on progress, etc. WHAT CONTRACTOR CALLS THE CUSTOMER??? American Home Remodeling is a step above the rest and once again - they come with the HIGHEST RECOMMENDATIONS. As a side note, I have had NUMEROUS projects done by American Home over the past 7 years. Every project is EXACTLY the same EXPERIENCE. Simply FLAWLESS.

From the initial presentation to the final "punch" list this company always followed through on their promises and contract points in a professional, efficient and timely manner. While not the least nor the most expensive, we found this family owned company to be well worth the cost. We plan on using this company again for future projects and have already recommended them to numerous friends and colleagues.

The work performed on my home went very smoothly. The work was done within 2 weeks and everyone was very professional. The men who did the work were very trustworthly and very nice to work with. After the job was done the outside of my home was meticiulously cleaned up. My salesman was very honest with me and a pleasure to work with. I will definitely use them again in the future and have referred them to several friends.

They were supposed to give me a bid and they called a month later and wanted to know if I still wanted a bid. It was obviously a salesman that came out and for something like this, I wanted to deal with the owner. I've had that experience before and salesmen generally don't know enough and they tend to be yes men. They will just tell you what you want to hear. I wasn't all that pleased with them. It initially didn't take long to get them out, but they dropped the ball and didn't give me a quote.

I initialling called to schedule an appointment for an estimate on a roof repair, and was told they don't do roofing repairs. I suggested they include that in their ad on Angies list. The owner took over the call and I explained to him what needed to be done, how old my house was, and described some additional remodeling work in the bathroom.I wanted done. He said they would come out, and even though it was a repair, they would do the work. On the day of the estimate after a missed call and callback I was told "I'm sorry but we don't do roof repairs, and we only do complete bathroom remodels. This was very disappointing after being told they would do it, and very inconvenient. I moved things around in my schedule to be availabe for the estimate. I could have tried someone else instead of waiting 2-3 days to be told we don't do that. After reading my report on Angie's List, they called and wanted to help me and make it right. They came out to my house, were very apologetic, and have made an appointment to do the repair for me. I told them that they need to be more specific on their profile with Angie's List about where they go and what services they do. I was impressed that my report did get a response from them.

Company employee responded quickly to our phone call, gave us a precise estimate plus an explanation of the work to be done and the materials to be used. He then said he would try to have to work done in the next few days. This happened on Tuesday; the work was done by 3:00PM Thursday. Over the next two days the garage roof withstood a severe rainstorm and didn't leak a drop.

They were too expensive so I didn’t use them. He was very nice and professional and everything was done on time. He did some work on the house across to street and they had been satisfied with his work which is why I called him.

They have always been very neat while working and they also thoroughly clean up afterwards. The professional attitude of the crew was a breath of fresh air. The workers completed the job ahead of schedule. Chris also helped us with financing that made the job possible. I give him and American my highest recommendation!

I found Vic to be respectful and good humored which was commendable considering he had 2 people telling him 2 different things. his staff were excellent with pride in work and capability evident. the workmen were amazingly tidy which was impressive considering the volume of waste generated from the job. they brought in heavy vehicles and materials and didn't damage anything of significance.

They were very good. They did the work in a timely fashion. They cleaned up after themselves. I have not had any problems at all. The gentleman that helped me was very friendly, and he offered a lot of suggestions that I did not feel were binding in any type of way. Any question that I asked he answered for me. I was given discounts because I had a flier and because I'm a senior citizen. I did have to call them to come back out because someone had put their initials in the cement at the bottom of the steps, and they came out with a damp cloth and removed the initials. Other people on the block have contracted this company after seeing the work they did on my steps.

Very well. There was a minor plumbing mishap, but the representative and us worked out a reasonable and fair solution.

They we've terrific. They did everything perfect. Everything was prompt, and on time. They did more than they said then they said they would do.

Great job. The crew started on Thursday and was finished on Monday. The quality of the workmanship is excellent. Very pleased with the work done.

THIS COMPANY WAS QUICK TO DO THE JOB. THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. THE WORKERS WERE ON TIME AND FRIENDLY. THE END RESULT IS THAT THE QUALITY AND PRICE WAS VERY GOOD.
