We didn’t end up using them because of the price. They responded quickly; I sent a request over the weekend and they called me the next week.

This is the second project we've had this company complete for us. The first was a new roof and major exterior renovation on our home in 2010. And like our first experience, from estimate to completion, their work was stellar. We look forward to working with them again in the future.

This is the second job American Home Remodeling has done for me. Like the first job, Vic and American Home Remodeling did a great job from start to finish! Vic took the time to understand what my needs were, gave a detailed estimate, a fair price and the work went well from start to finish The work started as scheduled and Vic maintained close communication with me throughout the project. Vic was always happy to answer any questions or concerns I had. The guys doing the work were friendly, considerate and neat. The workmanship and materials were high quality throughout the job. I’d strongly recommend American Home Remodeling for any renovation or addition work you might have. They are a company with integrity and a pleasure to work with.

I did not use them. It was a free estimate. The guy, Victor, was very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. He could not have been more gentlemanly in the way he interacted with me and did the estimate. I did not use him because he was so expensive; he was ridiculously off the charts. He was professional. I found them on Angie’s List; that is why, I had called him. Everything was fine until he gave me the price.

Anytime you open the walls of an older home you can be in for some unwelcome surprises. When the two layers of siding were removed from one back upper wall it was discovered that the outside wooden wall had not been finished properly many years before we purchased the house. Victor was summed by the crew and the decision was made to replace the defective wood with exterior plywood at a surprisingly nominal additional cost. This change improved the overall appearance of the back of the house which had a funny shape on that wall for reasons which we now understand. In any construction project, one of the best metrics for workmanship is how unexpected problems are resolved. When the problem with the outside wall was discovered, the crew didn’t cover it up as had been done in the past, but summoned they management, who provided a cost-effective and very satisfactory solution. The overall appearance of our remodeled home exceeded our expectations. The work was completed on schedule and our home is now noticeable warmer and quieter. If you want high quality workmanship, American Home Remodeling has to be at the top of your list.

It was easy going. I had no problems. They did an excellent job. I’m happy with the work. The staffs were all very friendly. Everything was cleaned and they didn’t leave any mess at all. I will use them again in the future.

The quote was for James Hardie products. We didn't choose them but it was not because they were bad, but because the other company excelled a little bit more. They were super knowledgeable and their prices seemed to be a little bit high. There was nothing really bad about them, but I would probably not recommend them to others.

The process was great, from the estimate through the project and follow-up. They came (in the rain!) to give me an estimate, and they came when they said they would. They were the only company to offer me options that included spending less money than replacing the whole roof (rather than to try to sell me more, like new gutters). I had some follow-up questions after the initial estimate which they responded to in a timely and thorough manner. I received other estimates for my project that ranged from half as much to more than twice as much. Maybe I could have saved a few dollars going with another company, but I was relatively confident going into the project that there weren't going to be any surprises and their professionalism meant a lot. I was a little hesitant that they used subcontractors to do the work, but it was in the final agreement, so I knew it in advance. I just hoped they treated their contractors as professionally as they treated me, and worked with people who were equally as professional. In the end, that seemed to be the case. The project itself went smoothly. Bad weather was predicted the day we were scheduled to start; I was prepared to have to reschedule. The crew (which I was told later was actually a double crew) arrived early in the morning and worked hard and fast. They were professional, friendly and treated my house and property with care. The roof was done and they were cleaned up before I knew it and before the worst of the weather arrived. It's only been a week, but we've had some wind and rain and I haven't had any problems. I had some follow up questions that were also promptly addressed and I received the warranty documentation a few days after the roof was done. I am very pleased with the whole thing.

We have used American Home on several occasions in the past. They were in this case, as always, prompt, efficient, thorough. We will certainly use them again as needed.

They were on time. They had someone that answered my call right away when I called. The appointment was made over the phone. They said that they would be there on a particular day and he was there at that time. He was very cordial and amenable to questions being asked to him. He walked around the house and gave me a written estimate. He spent a lot of time with me and answered all my questions. The reason that I did not use them was because I felt that they were a bit pricey and it was a little out of my price range. I would use them in the future depending on my financial situation.

American Home Remodeling gave me an estimate to do some flooring in my basement about a month ago. ANGIE'S LIST WAS HARASSING US ON THE PHONE FOR INFORMATION REGARDING SERVICES AND SINCE MY DOG AND SON WAS BOTHERING ME, I QUICKLY DID SURVEY. SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE AND I CHANGED THE RATING, BUT JUST FOR YOUR RECORDS, THAT WAS A VERY EXPENSIVE ESTIMATE...THANK YOU

Overall, not good. I feel the contractor has been less than honest with me concerning the work that I contracted with American Home Remodeling to be done. In trying to move forward on the open issues, it was agreed that we would supply the contractor with a list of items that had either not been completed per our written contract or had not been done to our satisfaction. That list was submitted to the contractor on 9/13/2011. After that, the contractor was to supply us with corrective actions for our approval. We supplied the contractor with the list and waited 4 days for a response. When we didn't hear from them, my husband called the owner, Vic Fiore Sr. We were told that they did not want to finish the job. To date, none of the rooms have been completed and none of the trades involved have totally completed their work.

Dan showed up on time and took measurements and notes. But never emailed the estimate like he said he would.

The salesman was very nice. He came on time. It was a professional company. The only thing which I didn’t like at all was that they had to give an estimate in person and I haven’t got an estimate yet. I would consider using them in the future.

Chris from American Home Remodeling was quick to return my voicemails, showed up on time at our appointment, and seemed knowledgeable about the work and the issues that would come up with the job. Ended up going with another contractor due to price, but I would not hesitate to contact American Home Remodeling again.

After initial repairs on the 15th of August were made I still had some leakage from part of the roof area that was repaired. I called Victor back on a Saturday. In the interim over the weekend I tried to address the problem. The owner called me back on Monday morning and offered to have someone come out. I told him I though the problem had been fixed. He said if I had any more problems to give them a call. This morning at around 7:00am without any further calls from me a crew arrived to do some follow-up and made additional repairs. I was surprised and pleased. This was really a small job, however they came out twice and paid attention to my needs. I was able to reach them with one phone call.. I would recomment them for jobs large or small.

They rebuilt four steps landing. They made a bigger one, put a new gate, and a fence for me. They did a beautiful job. They guy who did the job comes and checks everyday to make sure everything is all right. I am really satisfied with them. They cleaned up very nice. Overall, it was very good.

I called looking for an estimate and got same day service. When I spoke with one of the owners (Victor) I explained this was a small job but it was creating a major problem in my home. When my home was built the builders did not seal around the pipes on the roof , this caused leaks when it rained in several rooms in my home. I expained to the owner I don't get home until the evening and he agreed to have someone there when I got home. The repairman actually came early and finished the job before I got home. It rained later on that night and so far no new leakes. I am going to do an inspection of the roof this weekend, but so far so good. The cost was reasonable. I would use them again!

We chose American Home based on other Angie's List reviews and had an excellent experience. Our general contractor, Chris Fontana was professional, prompt and reliable throughout our project and obviously had pride in the work completed. He coordinated all aspects of the job including plumbing, electrical, cabinets, countertop, appliances, painting and tile. The team he assembled was outstanding and were obviously skilled in each respective area. Chris was at our house regularly to oversee the project and resolved any issues that came up along the way to ensure we were satisfied. They also went above and beyond in installing some of our old kitchen cabinets in our garage and sealing our porcelain floor tile. We are planning on doing more remodeling and would definitely use this company again in the future.

All i can say is that they dont work with your budget!!!!! they thought that my budget was too small for my project.

Called for an estimate based on Angie's recommendation. Estimator came out within 48 hours and spent time going over job. I allowed myself to be talked into bluestone over granite fr a cleaner look. We agreed on price. Work was done within two weeks as promised. Work took about six hours to complete. Based on what I saw them do, I should have negotiated a lower price. I am happy with the job, but spent too much.

Was professional and punctual pertaining to the windows. I did need other work done around the house, painting, tile repair and pipe repair but the job was too small. They charged too much for the small job. I suggest using this company for big jobs only. Find a handyman for small jobs.

I am very satisfied with my new sidewalk thanks to American Home Remodeling. They are very professional and the quality of work is exceptional! I will definitely use this company again.

We called American Home to give us a price on installing new insulated siding for our home. The representative that I spoke with on the phone was very friendly and organized, and we set an appointment for a few days later that fit perfectly into my and my wife's schedules. When he arrived, he was very professional, courteous, brought several samples of their work. He was very informative and gave us a great education into the different ways we could go about filling our siding and insulation needs. In the end, the price they gave us was just a little higher than the contractor we went with, but I would not hesitate in the least to call them again for the next job I have!
