I have mixed reviews about the work AHM performed on my house. The project manager, Vic, was very responsive and professional. Unfortunately, the project supevisor was not so professional and responsive. The craftmanship was excellent. However, the wokers made a few mistakes, and did not clean the property thoroughly upon the completion of the job. Vic was highly apologetic, and made financial amends for the workers' mistakes.

Installed siting at the agreed price and in a timely professional manner. Read responded to and explained all questions and concerns of the homeowner

American Home was prompt and flexible in meeting me at the house, he was practical and I did not feel pressure to "hurry up" and get a new roof. I do have a small leak around a roof vent and learned that American Home didn't do these types of small jobs, but he suggested that a handyman service could easily fix and more affordably. I learned that American Home does mostly high end basement finishing and I was really looking for the very minimal, which is OK, and I appreciated his candidness. He showed me some of their work, which looked great, but not in my budget currently. I would consider using American Home for any future roofing and basement refinishing proposals.

These men were very punctual and efficient from the moment that they came in contact with us. John thoroughly explained the job and what needed to be performed. He always made himself available via phone and was respectful at all times. He was extremely pleasant and honest with us. John's men came in at exactly 7:30 sharp and left at 4:30 with the job done proficiently. They even worked through the rain, without stopping. Afterwards, John's men cleaned up after themselves without any instruction. I was amazed at the work done within such a short time period. They went above and beyond my expectations. I feel like I definitely got my money's worth. If I ever needed work on the house again, I would definitely use John. This time, everything that glittered actually was gold.

They were excellent. They did everything that I asked. I didn't even have to be there for the appraisal. They just called with the info. They even honored a coupon.

Needed Estimate for the repair of front steps, They came out to my home within a couple of days after scheduling appointment, the American Home Representative was professional in explaining the details of the repair. We had to call them back a number of times before a written estimate was given. During that week we also scheduled for an American home rep to show us some replacement windows, The representative did not make the scheduled appointment, We did not receive a call from the rep saying that he would not be able to make the appointment. The estimate for the repair of the front steps was quite a bit higher in comparison to other estimates we have received for the same work performed. .

They were punctual, professional, friendly, helpful and cleaned up after the work was done. They did exactly what they were contracted to do at the price that was agreed upon. I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to another customer.

Consultant from AHR was prompt and friendly. The final price of the roof installation was much more than we can afford at this time. I am requesting a refund for my deposit of $1,800.00

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was perfect. I am very satisfied. They are very good. The house looks beautiful.

First I want to begin by saying I have always wondered about these reviews and if the people writing them are somehow connected to the builder. Well,I am here to tell you they just finished working on my home and I have never worked with a better company in my life. The first person you will meet with is Vi c. Vic will negotiate the contract with you and walk you all the steps. I was very nervous signing a contract for every dime I have saved but it was the best thing I ever did. Vic stopped in every day and we talked about the job and he listened to any concerns I had. What amazed me was the crew. The first crew did the windows. Scott is the carpenter and he is terrific. When he was installing the windows he would take the time to fix any little thing that came up so the windows fit perfectly. They actually had a guy who was following Scott and vacuuming behind him. The second crew did the siding and they were on time, focused and started working as soon as they arrived. My house looks fantastic and I would like to point out that one worker stayed after the crew left and replaced some beams that were rotted before he sided that area. Finally, I want to thank Vic for making this easy and caring so much about how my house turned out.Trust me he is a good man and you can trust him. I recommend American Home Remolding ,knowing how important the results of these jobs are to the home owner.

It went very well. They came right after. Everything was done in less than 2 weeks. I would recommend them. They are very good people. I looked them up and they seem to be well. The cleanup could have been a little better but it was a big job.

Company representative came to discuss and explain the work and the costs. His advice on selecting the type and color of the siding, based on a number of characteristics of the house and its roof, was invaluable. He has stayed in regular touch during the work. Work crew showed even sooner than promised. Site supervisor Informed me of exactly what to expect by way of debris, noise and the like. Since I own a three-family house, with tenants who come and go at various times, I needed to know fairly exactly when access to the driveway and the parking area behind the house would be unavailable, and the supervisor was very accommodating. 3-man crew set to work at once, worked steadily and efficiently throughout the day, cleaned up very well at the end of the day, and has repeated the exercise on succeeding days. Supervisor discussed all "iffy" or problematic aspects of the job with me in advance of the work. Quality of materials to my non-expert eye looks very high and the parts of the job already completed--siding and soffits--look very fine indeed. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to my friends and I would not hesitate to use them again.

There are not many contractors that I can say I have had a pleasant experience with. However, American Home Remodeling has renewed my faith that there are honest reliable companies still out there. Meeting with the salesman Dan was a complete pleasure. He was on time and very informative. He laid out for me all the services they would provide and gave me a very reasonable estimate for the job. There were a couple of other small repairs that I needed to be done besides replacing our roof and they were very accommodating. The workers arrived on time and proved to be very quick, hard workers and by the looks of their work very knowledgable at their craft. They cleaned up well and took care not to damage any thing else on the property while they were working. Any small issues I had during the process was addressed immediately and taken care of. I would definitely recommend this company for any type of remodeling work or roofing work that they needed and plan to use them again for future projects. We scheduled the appointment for 2 pm and had many other appointments scheduled that day as well so we were on a tight schedule. We received a call the day of the appointment saying that they could no longer come at 2 but could come between 10-11. We had an appointment at 11 but said if they could come around 10 that would be fine and we could squeeze them in. They showed up at 11 and it was fine; my husband walked through with the contractor while I continued to meet with our 11 am appointment. Provider was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. However, we didn't receive the estimate for a over a week (and required follow up from us to get the estimate). You could tell that they had forgotten all that we wanted done as items were left off of the estimate. Since they seemed to busy to handle our request or put together a complete estimate, we decided not to use them.

Job went very well. Punctual, professional, and easy to work with. I will used again for other remodeling needs.

I've owned my home since 1989. Over many years I developed a close working relationship with a local contractor. On October 2011 I noticed water entering the side of my house. My contractor suggested that we immediately change the Windows and siding on the side of the house and then complete the remainder of the house in the spring. When spring arrived I learned my contractor had taken sick, however he anticipated returning to work in a few months. My contractor never returned back to work and in spring 2013 he retired. I labored over finding a new contractor. Finally my son suggested we join Angies list. My son joined and began researching contractors. Within minutes he called me and said dad you need to check out the reviews that American Home Remolding Contractors have. I was impressed and decided to call them. Within a few days I met with Dan. I learned that this is a family owned business and the young man I met with was a son-in-law of the owner. Dan referenced his family's focus on customer satisfaction and made me feel extremely comfortable. We discussed several options and finalized a plan and agreed on a price. Dan told me a representative would come to measure my windows and order all materials and they would start the work within three weeks. As promised the materials arrived and the work began timely. I cannot say enough about the quality of work and the professionalism exhibited by their entire staff. Dan said something to me that hit home. He said, "I am 27 years old and my wife recently gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. I plan to be in this business a long time and I not only want this job but I want all of your work, large or small, for the next 30 years." Needless to say, am extremely happy with the work done and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The service from start to finish was great. They reviewed the pricing and all the details of what needed to be done thoroughly. I did not have any questions or concerns after speaking to them. Once the work was started they did it in the timeframe that they had committed to and were very considerate of not just our property but also of our surrounding neighbors.

They provide an excellent service. They have a prompt and quick service and both projects were done within two days. The roof was done on February and the siding was done on August this year. The price was very good. The roof was 10,000$ and the siding was 15,000$. We ended up using them for our siding because they did well on the roof.

It was excellent. They were very responsive and they were here when they said. They said it would take 5 days and it took 5 days. They cleaned up. They were very good and I would highly recommend them. They were not the highest or the lowest.

Called to request an estimate for a home I am in contract for. I am pretty much gutting a 2 family home. I was told that I would have to pay $250-350 for the estimate. No thank you! There is easily $85K worth of work to do...I guess I will take my business elsewhere. Thanks for nothing AHR

Friendly, flexible, professional. Very fair pricing and easy to work with. Dan was always prompt and in touch with us about project status, next steps, and general troubleshooting, much of which he handled himself. He brought an excellent team of roofers, masons, driveway, window, and siding people who worked quickly and efficiently. Dan completed the whole project in two weeks as promised. We definitely will work with Dan in the future.

Chris appeared at my home for an estimate on several projectings including turning a laundry room into a bothroom, extending an roof overhang, etc. He was prompt, professional, helpful, and clear. He had excellent ideas and communicated them well. He came back with a written estimate the following day. The price was higher than I had expected and I found a local contractor to do the work, but this is a very high quality company and I wluld be delighted to work with them in the future. First class all the way.,
