The job went well except for a misunderstanding about shape and design of the roof and location of gutters, but the company made every effort to correct the design. In the end I was pleased with the service. I felt validated and listened to. I am truly happy with the final outcome. Thanks John.

Professional, friendly, reasonable cost. The roof was replaced in one day, and new gutters the next day. We were impressed by these guys. We would use them again.

The provider set up and appointment and then claimed they couldn’t get ahold and thus never showed up.

There were a few hiccups here and there....some my fault, some of the contractor's fault. My biggest gripe was that all of the services were sub-contracted out to other local contractors which resulted in communication and scheduling problems. I've dealt with several contractors in the past with other homes, so some of these problems were anticipated; however, I was not shopping for a bargain this time and felt like I was paying a premium to deal with a bigger, more professional service provider. In this respect, I would have preferred if the process had gone a little more smoothly. Nonetheless, I am happy with the quality of the work performed and timeliness of completion (once they got started, it was full speed ahead). 100% financing didn't hurt either. Given my past experiences which somewhat lowered my expectation of services and my overall happiness with the end result, I find it hard not to give these guys an "A" rating. There is some room for improvement, but my overall assessment is based on the question of whether or not I would hire these guys again....and the answer to that question is "yes".

Vic and the staff at American Home Remodeling (AHR) are consummate professionals who provided flawless service throughout the roof replacement project on my home. Vic met with me to discuss the work that needed to be done and to provide a free estimate as advertised. Since the original roof had not been replaced by me or the previous owner, Vic warned me that the estimated amount of work to be done might be significantly more once the replacement work was underway. On the day the project was scheduled to begin, a crew of his workers arrived on time and got to work right away. Vic called me during the day to report on their progress. By the end of the day, the roof replacement was complete, and all debris had been cleared away. Slight adjustments had to be made to the drainage vents, so two of his crew members retuned over the weekend. They showed me photos of the water damage to the sub roof that they encountered, justifying the additional work that had to be done. AHR also financed nearly 60% of the cost of this project. After making an initial deposit, I paid off the balance to AHR in manageable monthly installments. The administrative staff in his office were always courteous and professional, and I have no complaints. I will definitely use AHR in the future and I highly recommend them without hesitation.

I was very pleased with them. The quality of the work was fantastic, and they held true to all of their prices. For what we paid, I think we got a great deal. I will definitely be recommending this company in the future.

This was a great company to work with. Dan showed up on time for the estimate and was easy to speak to and work with. We agreed on a price, and he went straight from our house to town hall to get the roof permit. Scheduling was also easy, Dan was easily available by phone to answer any questions. The workers showed up a half hour early at 0730 on Saturday morning and got right to work. They finished the roof the same day and did a great job cleaning up. They even came on Sunday to replace rotted fascia board before the gutter installers came on Monday. The gutter company they use was also prompt and did a great job. The dumpster was even picked up on Tuesday, a day early. I would absolutely use this company again; we have a few more projects coming up!

After interviewing several companies, we chose American Home Remodeling. We liked that they were family owned and operated which we felt was important in the overall process. We worked with Dan Falato from the beginning. He was very thorough and professional. He kept us informed every step of the way. He was always very available to answer any questions that came up and I felt comfortable calling anytime. We were impressed at how he was very hands on from beginning to the end of project. The workers were courteous and quick to complete the job. We would recommend this company to our family and friends and hope to use them again for future home improvements.

First off, I want to start out by saying that I am NOT the type of person to write a review, but this company deserves more than a review! I have had my horror stories with contractors in the past and was skeptical at first about hiring another company to do work on my home. From the moment I called, I was greeted with professional courtesy to schedule my appointment. On the day of my appointment (April 3, 2015), John arrived at my home promptly as he said he would. Before we discussed the materials and the overall scope of the job, John was outside for about 15-20 minutes taking measurements and an assessment of my roof/siding. I then invited him into my home to discuss my project in mind. John was knowledgable/professional and went over cost efficient ways to solve the gutter problems I had been having from the harsh winter(s). I had a few other estimates from a couple of other companies, and John's estimate was right in the lower-middle end of the spectrum. He clearly explained both jobs in detail, and suggested better ways to do the work than other contractors had told me which made sense. I felt very comfortable with John and hired American Home Remodeling to proceed with the agreement we discussed. American Home Remodeling did all of the leg work of obtaining the permits and got my job right on schedule. On April 20th the dumpster/material arrived in the morning and the foreman arrived shortly after. I was absolutely amazed with the work ethic of the crew that started with my roof. The roof was completed on April 21st and siding was completed shortly after on April 25th. That following Monday, the men came and installed new seamless leaders/gutters to my home. I got more than what I paid for, and recommend American Home Remodeling to one of my co-workers, who she ended up hiring as well. I would GLADLY recommend American Home Remodeling to any of my friends/family members, and will DEFINITELY contact them for my future kitchen remodeling project. We just had our roof replaced and had a terrific experience working with Dan Falato. Throughout the process, he was professional, responsive and honest. We have a house w/ many additions w/ odd roof lines resulting in many problem areas. I started the bidding process in Nov knowing that the best time to do it was in early spring. I have gotten 6 quotes and Dan was one of 2 roofers who was honest and did not pressure me to do the roof in the middle of winter and that I should wait until spring for the optimal roof weather, unless it was an emergency. Of 6 quotes (all GAF Timberline HD), 2 were outrageously expensive. The remaining 4 quotes (including Dan's) varied only by 5%. I ended up choosing Dan b/c he was very thorough and dedicated. During the bidding process, Dan came 2x and once was during a snow storm of Dec 2014. He didn't have any additional random charges for little items that the others did. We also had a couple of additional work done during the process and he was very reasonable about it and took care of it. Throughout the entire process, Dan was always giving me updates. It took them 3 days to do the roof replacement and every day, Dan was onsite to check up on the progress and sent me updates/photos. Every time I had a question or a request, Dan would respond immediately. His crew was also terrific and did a fantastic job. We had a couple of unexpected problem areas and they fixed them and didn't charge us extra for their work and time. They came early in the morning and clean up the site thoroughly afterward. The installation process was unobtrusive. I highly recommend Dan and his crew - honest, dependable and first class customer service.

Still interviewing, but happily passed on this contractor.

It went very well. We only received one estimate (shame on us) but were so comfortable with them that we chose to schedule the work right after we got the estimate. The workers arrived punctually, were polite and performed services with minimal breaks. Even our neighbor remarked at how hard they were working, and in such extremely cold weather. We are as pleased as can be with the finished product and would not hesitate to use their services again in the future.

Dan was prompt and very thorough. Knowledgeable and very personable.

The courtesy and professionalism displayed was phenomenal both in person and over the telephone. If there was one thing that didn't go exactly to plan it was that the gutters were installed without the guards. But the contractor returned and put them on. I am pleased with the aesthetics.

He was very nice and professional, and gave my wife and I great advice, but I found his prices pretty high which is why we didn't use him.

Provider was door to door knocking to ask if any work needed doing on the house. I agreed to them coming and giving me an estimate on replacing 5 windows and asphalting driveway. They called to confirm the appointment twice and Dan came out on 09/19/14, I explained the job, he measured driveway and said he would email me a quote. I never received the quote so followed up two weeks later and was told someone would call me back but they never did. Disapointing as I had read the good reviews on Angies list and was hoping to be able to use them for the work.

The roof on my 100+ year old house needed replacement. The old roof was not the original one, but it was old enough to be made of cedar which had to be removed and replaced with plywood. When I called for an estimate, I was taken care of promptly. John arrived punctually and gave an impressive presentation of the company's credentials. He performed an extensive evaluation of the roof and soon after provided a detailed estimate. I bought a "buy" that covered part of the materials, but much of the cost was attributable to the removal of the cedar. They applied for the permit. On the start date, they delivered a large dumpster, and on the following day work began. They employed a large crew that worked efficiently. Each day they cleaned up the considerable mess that had accumulated around the house. The roof work took two days, On the third day the new gutters were installed. The dumpster caused some damage to the driveway, but the company came back a couple of days later to repair the damage. The work appears to be done well. The roof looks great. John was always responsive whenever I called with an issue during the contract and installation period.

They are a very good company. They did my roof i. Dan is very easy to work with.

I used American Home Remodeling in the past for my roof. Experience was very good. I have been trying to get Dan to come to my house to give me an estimate for a kitchen/bathroom since April 2014. Bathroom had a leak into the kitchen. Plumbing repaired, needed all new tile in the bathroom and cabinets in the kitchen. I spoke to Dan 3 different occasions and not once did he get back to me. This past Friday, my neighbor tells me AHR is doing his roof, because I raved about my experience. I try to tell him to cancel but the dumpster arrived as we were talking. I called Dan and asked him if he was in the neighborhood to talk. He said he wasn't but would be by later. He did finally call me after I mentioned about me leaving feedback here. If someone else from AMR would like to reach out and talk to us about work in our home, I am fine with that. I don't want to deal with Dan. Otherwise, I can go somewhere else.

I had met with Victor Fiore (one of the owners) a couple of weeks prior to actually having the work done to obtain an estimate. I went with them not only because of their rating on Angie's List,but after speaking with Victor decided they appeared to be more knowledgeable about their product and work than some of the other companies I spoke with also. There was no pushing for me to use their company. It was just plan talk, this what we can do, and when we can do it, and this is how much it will cost. They were not the cheapest but no where as expensive what I heard from other companies. Victor had informed me that it would take approximately two weeks to order the supplies and deliver to my home. However, in reality it took about a little over a week. The material was delivered on a Wednesday to my driveway and the team appeared that Friday to begin work.. The work was done in sections and the team of 3 to 5 men worked on my home over the course of the installment. The process was rather quickly and took 4 days to complete. The whole process went very well with just a minor hiccup which in no way changes my high rating for the company. When re-attaching the mailbox to the outside of the house, it was placed on the opposite side of the house than it was before which was also on the opposite end of the door opening. It wasn't major, but it would have been inconvenient to get to in bad weather. However, the issue was immediately addressed with no complaints. I do have a suggestion for the crew and that would be to note or label items that come off the home to be able to easily identify where they should go once the job is finished. Also the studs for the shutters needed to be replaced because when taking them off the house they can become damaged. AHR took the liberty of ordering new ones. However the replacement studs/fasteners are not the same shade of the shutters. They are not very noticeable from a distance, but when you get up close you can see the difference. If you are not looking for it, you may not notice, However, I was able to notice it. I know the exact color, since I had the shutters installed a little over a year ago. It would have helped that before ordering that I was asked what color were the shutters. This way the studs would have been the same exact color. Again minor issues, but just another level of detail that would have made the job perfect. Overall, it was a very good experience, and I am satisfied with the results. Reynaldo (job site supervisor) and the team were always on site timely and did a good job cleaning up. Well done!

I needed my front steps to be repaired, I called the office who were courteous and was told an estimator would give me a call to come by for a visit. There was a mix up in the office and I waited all day Saturday for someone to come by my residence which never happened. I had to contact the office again and received a call from the inspector who told me he saw the work I needed done and was waiting for the supervisor to give a quote. I was then told the job was too small and was annoyed at my time being wasted. I finally called a friend of mine in town for a local contact. I was annoyed at having to follow up myself with the contractor to get any updates.

It went excellent, they look beautiful, it has rained heavily and they worked great, they cleaned up after themselves and I am very happy. I also had used them 9 years ago to install windows for me and they did a great job on that too.
