The installations went well, although the recessed LED lighting buzzes / hums, and shouldn't. Maybe the wrong dimmer was used (a common cause described when searching online). I notified Mike, but he just said that all dimmable lights create a noise. Also, he is in the customer service business and can enhance his business by bettering his attitude -- Whether he knows it or not he can come off as condescending or disrespectful. The average person doesn't know about working with electrical components, hence they hire someone.

I end up not hiring him since he razed the price in his Estimate from the one mentioned on the phone. I also didn't like his attitude.

Michael returned my phone call right away. He arrived exactly at the agreed upon time. Mike repaired and replaced the 2 fixtures in about an hour. We spoke about some other electrical work that needs to be done, and I feel confident that I will be calling Amp'd Up Electrical for all my future electrical needs.

Excellent experience with Amp'D Up Electrical Contracting. A painting contractor was able to start my job early and I needed an electrician to relocate some power and do the wiring for a wall mounted home theater. I posted a request on AMP'D UP's website on Friday and Mike called me within two minutes of my hitting and quot;submitand quot;. Mike explained what was needed, gave me an estimate of his costs and fit me into his schedule first thing on Monday. He said 8am and he was here at 8am! The work was done really well, he made his cuts to snake the wires in such a way as to avoid a lot of damage to the walls and even had the HDMI cables I needed on his truck. I will definitely use AMP'D UP again. Great experience from start to finish and the costs were very fair. I highly recommend them.

Great. Mike responded after hours very promptly and came right away. He was earlier than he said he would be. He was professional, courteous and his price was very fair. I felt comfortable with him in my house and will definitely be using him for future projects.

Mike took us through the process. We wanted something that would power essentials in the house during a power outage. His pricing was fair and much more reasonable than those large companies looking to make a killing by installing a $3k dollar generator. I've used him for his electrical experience ever since and he's my go to electrician because he's fair and honest.

Mike is great--responsive, knows his stuff, and is fair with is pricing. He takes pride in his work and does it all himself. He offers additional services/advice and can be trusted. He is on time and personable, and has a great work ethic.

Michael worked diligently and did everything we asked of him. The price he charged was less than half of what we were quoted from another company and I have no doubt that the quality of work was just as good. We had a feeling we were getting overcharged with the first company we contacted, and we are glad Michael was available to do the work. We plan on having him back to do a few other miscellaneous fixes in our house.

I called Mike and he came two days later, as I said it was not an emergency. He found the problem right away and fixed it quickly.
