We selected PoolTown, even though they were rather far away from where we reside, because we had heard that their construction for Vinyl type in ground pools was superior to others. We were way more than pleased. The installation was quicker than we expected, well coordinated in terms of the various parts of the install (excavation, install, patio, water feature etc) and the end result was outstanding. Now, it is 13 years since our pool was installed and we have enjoyed 13 trouble free years and we still are using the original (very thick) liner! Everything works as it did back then. It just so happens that it is time for a new heater and Pool Town were the only people who returned our call to have it replaced! A pool is a big choice. You won’t regret using PoolTown.

I am just finishing up the construction of my pool; and Pool Town has been extremely professional, accommodating, and great to work with throughout the entire process. Even during the height of the pandemic, they moved to get my pool designed, dug, and built out. They were there for me every step of the way, making sure that all my questions were answered timely, and seeing that all township inspections took place quickly. The excavators, electricians, masons, waterfall designers, and office staff are wonderful and do a great job!

After some research we decided to hire Pooltown to install our pool. From the start and dealing with our salesman Billy A, to the end and dealing with Leesa D, everyone on the Pooltown staff was professional and helpful. Pooltown is a one stop shop and I am glad we chose them to be the company who installed our pool.

From start to finish, every person we worked with in each phase of the installation was courteous and helpful. The process went very smoothly and quickly especially with all the covid restrictions in place last spring. Billy was our salesman and at no point did we ever feel pressured or did he ever try to upsell us. Maria Vertopoulos was our construction coordinator. She kept us up to date every step of the way and scheduled all the inspections and permits with the township. John always answered my texts promptly when I had questions or concerns and Leesa DeSimone, our customer care manager, responded immediately when I called. She was very helpful and answered all my questions. We love our new pool. It always looks crystal clear and there is barely any maintenance.

We highly recommend Pool Town to anyone who asks. We've had zero problems with any of the installation. We continue to use Pool Town for all of our openings and closings. From start to finish, everyone was very prompt, professional and courteous. We've had many, many happy pool days at the "Power Resort" as everyone likes to call it. All has been absolutely perfect. We wouldn't change a thing. Very satisfied customer.

We enjoyed working with the staff at Pool Town. They helped us design the perfect pool and deck. When designing your pool do not skimp on the deck, less is not more when considering how much space you need for deck furniture. The pool is beautiful we chose the dolphin design for our liner, and the grandkids love it. If you are thinking of getting a pool you can't get a better company than Pool Town. They were professional and informative during the entire process of putting in the pool. Don't wait to get your pool it takes several months from start to finish. So if you are planning to swim in your pool this summer you should plan to get your pool soon.

We had our pool installed in the spring of 2019. From start to finish the process was easy and organized. We can’t say enough about our salesman Billy , he was great! Also, the customer service department was always readily available to help with anything we needed. We have made some beautiful memories in our gorgeous inground pool. Thank you Pool Town! “

We can't thank the personnel at Pool Town enough for our pool. This will be our second season and my family and I look forward to another fun filled 2021 Pool season. For those of you looking to install a new pool, you have found the right pool company. Their entire team was professional and extremely knowledgeable. I can't thank them enough: Laura (permits), Maria (construction), Tony (electrician), Brian ( Xcel), Leesa (customer care), and last but not least Billy Azar our sales rep.

Our experience with PoolTown was excellent. From the initial visit and consultation in-store to the final inspection, the process was smooth and pleasant. The quality of the pool is beyond what we expected, and we have received many compliments from friends, family, and neighbors. Also, we still shopped around, and PoolTown definitely offers the most "bang for the buck," with the extras and incentives that were included

For years we contemplated on getting a pool installed. Our family finally saved up the money to have our dream come true. The entire family was beyond excited. The sales crew initially responded to all calls. Once the money exchanged hands the communication started to decline. Pool town contracted Jersey Finest concrete company. We paid extra to have the concrete stamped. What a waist of money that was. The concrete company was totally inexperienced. There were footprints, several holes, rough edges and the spacers were totally not installed properly. We notified the office staff & owner. They heard our initial complaints but stopped responding. We are now stuck with the horrible concrete. BEWARE Don’t use this company they simply don't care once you paid them.

Our experience with pool town was horrible. Signed contract in oct 2019. Got our permit feb 2020. It is now July and cant pass inspection because the trenches are not filled properly, and we just keep getting the run around. Communication, customer service and there process is just simply terrible. They will drag there feet because you have to pay in phases and the pool is paid off before the work is completed. They also subcontract,so you dont know who is coming to your home and it takes weeks at times because you rely on there Reliability. They dont confirm appointments, they make appointments and dont show up. Bottom line you will just be a number, they keep signing contracts and cant finish the work they have to complete.

Pool Town did a great job with our pool installation. Their set up in their store really helped us decide what products we wanted to go with when we were choosing all of our options. Billy went step by step with us in the process as did their ladies that were the coordinators for each step of the process. Not being previous pool owners we were a little hesitant to make this investment, but we are glad we did as are our children. We had a huge backyard that we never used, to now it being something we are using everyday from May until October. Their service company Excel has done our pool opening and closings as well as installing our safety cover for the winter and they also did an excellent job.

Description of Work: We used Pool Town about 4 years ago. They installed our pool and all in all we were happy with the service. It was a long process. They dug the hole before it rained and then rained for a month straight, so it added a month to the time frame. From start to finish it started in March and ended in July.

They installed the pool. It was here when we bought the house. Every time I've ever dealt with them was a hassle. The phone is a very large problem with Pool Town.Tried to schedule a service appt yesterday, due to a specific product they service, and after 20 minutes and two different people they were not able to schedule it. They said they would call me back, but didn't.

still pricing poolliners..
Description of Work: In 2004 I purchased a pool from Pool Town. They stated the liner came with a 15 years warranty if anything goes wrong. In 2012 my pool liner started to wrinkle and fade. i called Pool Town, the manager Vinny stated that i must have put the wrong chemicals in the pool. Pool Town has been servicing my pool with chemicals since I purchased the pool now they want to blame me. Beware the warranties they talk about are worthless. Once they put the pool in you're on your owe..

I like my pool, I do not like the company. They are in my opinion not really concerned about their customers experience. The first thing I did not like was the person digging the ditch for the pool. They tried to give me some BS about the soil and the need for extra money. I can't recall the details but I know they put a new contract in place with customers with specific wording after me. The coping was done by a contractor. He did a great job. My understanding when I got the pool is I would work with their contractors who would give me design ideas. They were clueless. I wound up getting my own designer who was amazing. Getting back to the concrete guy and pavers. J&H Construction, run from Hugo. He is a compulsive liar. He told me what he would do, I took notes. He changed the process after he started, I am sure due to materials, using less of them and it being more profitable that way. His concrete was not straight. He told me basically to let him do his job and said trust me you don't need drainage. Well after the first rainstorm my basement flooded. What an AH. He never came back for follow up issues. I went to Pooltown to tell them of my experience and the owner was getting nasty with me. I said, I am trying to get you to run a better business cause your contractors suck. He thought I wanted to sue him, but he was not listening to me, just assuming. Then VInce the service guy is very rude and doesn't listen to his customers. I had an issue with the pump and he just wanted ot jump to the most expensive resolution. Like I said, I like my pool, it is beautiful, but I am not sure I would use them again due to the owner, service and their contractors. I was the one to coordinate the entire job, not what they told me. Again run from Hugo. He is unethical.

This was NOT a smooth project. While generally satisfied with the end result, the road was not a smooth one. 1) In response to my direct question, the sales rep told me that all work was done by employees of Pool Town. Only the person who cleaned the pool worked for them. Every step was subcontracted out. Dealing directly with the contractors was WAY easier than Pool Town. Each time I called I was ALWAYS put on hold just to be told the person was on the phone. What are the odds of THAT? Typically I would not get a return call though they were very accessible when they wanted to discuss payments. 2) Permits are additional but their contract estimates permits at $350.00, ours was $1271.00. Buyer beware. 3) Excavation was started the day before a forecasted storm. The next morning as we were leaving for work, they tried to tell us they had hit shale the day before and needed to collect an additional $1800.00 as stated in the contract if this occurs. It was clear on the post excavation report there were no issues or problems found when they dug. I explained this to the salesman when I called him and he was no help. The excavator worked it out with my husband that we could pay him $ 375.00 for the stone and his labor for the drywell we now required. Again, not because of shale as they tried to tell us but rather because they dug a hole before it rained. My husband was late to work since he had to go to the quarry with the excavator to pay for the stone. 4) Everything moved quickly until the backfill. They kept saying they were coming and never showed. I called each day to get an update because I was told we had to wait a period of time between backfill and pouring of the concrete which each day they didn?t show was drawing closer and closer. Despite numerous calls in to them for an update and to ask about subsequent rescheduling of pouring, nothing happened until I called the concrete contractor directly. I explained they had not yet backfilled and as far as I know his date had not been changed to allow for settling. The next day they back filled and HE gave me new concrete date. 5) The concrete- Two issues - At an additional cost they suggested we install drains between the house and concrete to allow the water to run off to avoid flooding our screened porch. Despite the fact my husband asked if we should run an additional drain under ground we were assured it would be sufficient. End result ? our porch floods each time there is a steady, heavy rain. We are working with a landscaper now to try to remedy the problem after the fact because the contractor said there was nothing he could do. In addition, there were some cuts through the diamonds of the stamping they claimed could not be avoided. We spoke with another contractor who told us it didn?t need to be done that way though he DID comment on what a nice job it was as a whole. We agree. 6) We paid extra for jets in the stairs and in our bench. You can?t even feel them. One pool town rep mentioned that he saw a lot of glue in them but when someone came back to check them, he said they were fine. I wish I could at least feel them let alone feel the pulsating the sales rep had described 7) Last issue being resolved now. There were several deep indentations in the liner visible at night when the light was on. My husband called Pool Town 4 times before the ?liner guy? called us back. Par for the course. He was VERY accommodating and we are now in the process of draining our pool for them to fix the issue and refill before closing. It appears that can happen when the ground is too wet before they pour the base to install the liner. Here comes the rain AGAIN. It remains to be seen if this works but we are hopeful. Good Points- The waterfall guy, the electrician and the ?liner guy? were all GREAT!!! We were happy with the concrete guy, who actually lent us 2 window units since our central air system needed to be temporarily disconnected but are disappointed with the fact we still need to resolve the flooding issue.
