I actually made a trip to NJ for a family function and things worked out where I was able to arrange a time to meet Lisa in person to discuss the offers received. She made time out of her schedule and we met at a location which was very convenient for me. Thanks again Lisa for your professionalism.
Description of Work: My family and I were trying to find a real estate agent up in NJ to assist us with selling our late mother's home . We did speak to a few agents, but my siblings and I did not feel comfortable with our first encounters. My wife and I have used Angie's list a number of times in our home state for contractors and other services so I thought why not add NJ to our profile since we had great success with our other findings.Well I am happy to say that Angie's list came through once again. Right from the start we felt very comfortable dealing with Lisa. We needed someone to advise us on how to proceed with selling the house since most of the house had original fixtures and also needed some repairs. She also referred me to a plumber since I have not live in NJ for quite some time and also a reputable lawyer. Once the initial paperwork was completed, she put the house on the market and we had a few offers in just a couple of days. I believe she priced the house accordingly and we sold the house above the listing price.

+ -1 moreLike a dream! Our mother died Jan 25, 2010. Her house was an estate sale. Over the next 5 weeks we readied the house for showing. Ms. Angelicola took photos, in and out, and posted a virtual tour on-line. Within the first week we had 7 offers and a deposit was made by our best offer. We are absolutely thrilled with her expertise and professionalism. The closing took place in a timely manner. We highly recommend her services.
Description of Work: We listed our late mom's home for sale, with Ms. Angelicola, last winter. I had gotten her name from my neighbor, a local agent. She gave us a realistic assessment and discussed changes needed to present the house well. They were on target. Ms. Angelicola made no promises and showed us the comparables. We agreed on a fair price. Since my brother, the executor, and I lived so far away she was there to let repair persons, cleaners etc. in to do the necessary work. We followed her suggestions. She sold it in a week above the listing price!
