FAIL FAIL Langan's Plumbing & Heating, LLC FAIL UPDATE 11/30/12. Two months have past and they have not made any attempt to correct a warranty part they used in the installation. They never investigate the issue I had to contact the manufacture myself and have them help me troubleshoot the issue. All the while Im hemorrhaging gas On October 11th I notified them of an issue with the system. Good morning, I just turn on the heat for the season and see, the I series mixing valve has a blinking Red and the zone panel for the kitchen has a solid Red both thermostats are set belowthe current temperature. I also check the sensor outside to ensure there was nothing obstructing it which there wasn't. Please advise. Called both the company phone and well as the cell phone of one of the plumbers. On October 12th Again I notified them of an issue with the system Good morning, This is a followup to the emails and phones calls concerning the fault condition on the Taco mixing valve. PS This is my new email On Tue, Nov 6, 2012 at 10:17 AM Hi John, I am still standing by for you to investigate the issue with the I-series mixing valve, which originally I reported early October. It is now November and I have yet to hear from you or anyone from your company. The issue still exists, so I have been burning gas unnecessarily for the past month. I called Taco. The issue appears to be a faulty sensor on the I-series mixing valve which will need to be replaced. Since it is covered under a three year warranty there is no reason for you to delay in replacing it. As for my phone number, I left it in the original voice mail message. The number has not changed since your company last contacted me. However to ensure you have all the tools needed for you to make the proper plans to rectify the issue here is my contact information again. November 6th This is the first contact I have seen since your voice mail and my email to you several weeks ago. I just had power restored yesterday and am working on emergencies first. You have heat be thankful I will get to you as soon as I can. Forewarned is forearmed they will take your money but will not perform any warranty or maintenance so you are better off finding a more dependable company in the long run. This company had NO issue in following up with me for the initial contract as they saw $$$$, nowthat there is little money in replacing a warranty part their actions show me exactly how they really feel. I am not worthy of a phone call. Now that there are so many Sandy related renovations $$$$$ and they can really make a killing why bother with an established customer. Most established business keep customer records and follow up for additiona business especially if it is more then a routine job and I know 7K is not routine.
