John did a great job on repairing an interior door in my house. He arrived on time and charged me exactly what he quoted me over the phone, which was a very reasonable price for what he did. He brought a tarp to place over the floor and made absolutely no mess whatsoever. He did the job fast and it looked like he was never there. I was very impressed with his work and I will definitely be hiring him other jobs in my house.

John did excellent work repairing my drywall and chaulking a shower stall. John's spackle work was so smooth I dont even have to sand. My words can not explain or do justice to his great work.

The contractor, John Ungar of Manahawkin, did a fine, thorough job and explained what he was doing (e.g. cutting out square, spackling 3 times and drying in-between, priming then painting, etc.). I highly recommend him. He is very reliable, and does what he says he is going to do including showing up on time. He also repaired the lock on my interior door. Great, seamless, professional workmanship! He really loves his job! I highly recommend him and shall call him for future projects.

John did a very nice job replacing drywall and patching up various areas. Very thorough and goes out of his way to perform excellent work.

He does very nice work. The reason I gave him this rating is because he is extremely slow to do the job. He estimated the job to paint and put floor down in a laundry room to be 2 days and it took him 7 days. Then he appeared to be upset that the job took so long- in my opinion- he is the Pro and he estimated the time and price when he looked at the job. Its not my problem if he talks on the phone- or that he works slow. I will say he had a little trouble with the floor- but he inspected it when he came out to do the estimate.

He was on time and did an excellent job. I will recommend him highly and will definitely call on John for any future projects.

John Ungar will be the first person I call the next time I need any work done in my home. Sheet rock repair work was excellent, and he and his team were easy to work with. They took good care of my home and my wife was happy with the work.

We recently purchased an old home which required lots of work. I am so happy we found John Unger. He removed all our popcorn celling's, spackled and painted the entire house to perfection. He custom built steps into our garage, installed attic stairs, a new patio door and closet doors. He repaired our front and side doors, installed new flooring in the laundry room and master bath along with a new vanity, mirror and toilet. He hung new lighting fixtures through out the home. John is a perfectionist. Working on an older home can be challenging as you often find the unexpected. John was able to match new and old seamlessly paying particular attention to small details which allowed us to keep the character of the home yet it looks brand new. The quality of his work is exceptional and guaranteed. As an added bonus he is easy to work with and always discussed each project with us. He is a true professional with a strong work ethic. This summer we plan to remodel our kitchen and will definitely call John.

I called John directly and he answered my call. We set up a mutual time and day for him to inspect the work we needed in repairing kitchen cabinetry. He was punctual, took digital pictures, and gave me a quote on the spot. John brought an associate with him to do some extra work we needed i.e. painting, drywall. John is friendly, stands by his work, and takes pride in "the finish". I would recommend him highly for service, commitment, knowledge of the trade, dependability, and price reasonability. This was a great "find" for us!

John installed kitchen cabinets, bath cabinets, drywall, trim, interior doors, exterior doors and paint on our Sandy flooded house in Manahawkin. His work is of the finest quality and he was easy to work with. He was always available and wanted to make sure he met our expectations. Completed job in timely manner and kept place extremely neat throughout process. Would highly recommend.

There may be somebody as good as John and his son(John) somewhere, but there is no one better. They were professional,courteous,reasonable, and timely. I would strongly recommend them for any service they can provide. They treated my home as if it were their own.. I couldn't be more satisfied.
