BILL'S CUSTOM TILE

Within five minutes of meeting Bill and discussing what I wanted to have done, I knew he was the right guy for the job. He was extremely professional and very personable. He seemed like the kind of guy that really takes pride in his work and wants to do things right the first time. Initially, I was looking to have tile installed in the Living Room, Hallway, Coat Closet, and Pantry... Retaining the tile that was in the Kitchen. After removing the existing Pergo floor throughout the first floor, I discovered a few cracks in the concrete slab. Bill recommended installing Ditra on the entire floor prior to tiling as this would prevent the tiles from ever cracking. After further discussion, we agreed the best option would be to demo the Kitchen tile as well, and install the Ditra and new tile on the entire first floor. We also decided to install the tile in a Herringbone pattern. I felt comfortable in allowing Bill and his helper work in my home without me being there. I would pop in once a day just to check on things. Bill always remained in contact with me letting me know if he needed anything. Bill did an amazing job installing the floor. He used a leveling system to ensure that each tile lined up perfectly. I couldn't possibly be happier. I would recommend him to anyone looking to have tile work done. His work is absolutely flawless. I'm definitely having him come back to install a glass tile backsplash.

It went well. Bill knows what he is doing and is very capable and professional. Very responsive to answering questions and provides helpful suggestions. He and John worked steadily and did a swell job. Both my wife and I highly recommend him & his company.

Outstanding work.

From the initial email I had sent to Bill until the completed professionally done tile backsplash in our kitchen, Bill and his team were consummate professionals. I received prompt calls and emails back addressing any questions I had and a meeting was quickly set up at a convenient time for Bill to come over and give us a quote. Bill came on the date and time we had agreed to and spent the time needed for us to ask all questions that we had and for him to impart on us some key pieces of advice that we could use to ensure we made the right decisions on what type of backslash we would want to consider and how he would perform the installation work, when he would be able to install the work etch. We hired Bill, and he, and his assistant, arrived on the date and time promised. Through the install of the backslash, they were courteous, clean and precise professionals. To ensure the kitchen and the rest of the house remained spotless, they carefully laid down protection on flooring and on all the countertops adjacent the walls they were going to install the backslash on. At the end of a work day, the kitchen and the rest of the house was left spotless and after final clean up and the project was done, you would never know they had performed the work except the masterpiece they left on the well. Bill works like the 'old timers' use to work - even though he is still young - he values the tradition of giving customers the best tile job for their dollars - you can see that he takes the time to install the tile as though it were being installed in his own home - attention to detail, accuracy of cuts, alignment of tiles and expert grout install were nothing short of a work of art - the finished product speaks for the skills he used installing the backslash - in just the two weeks since the install we have received compliments from all who have seen it. If you want an expert tile installer who will listen to what you want, advise you where needed and not pressure you on a decision, give Bill a call. Old fashion service and value at a fair price - that's all people want and Bill delivers. We are very happy with Bill and his team and the work they do so much so we are having him come back and do more work for us soon!

From start to finish Bill was excellent!

I'm a designer and builder of pharmaceutical process equipment and very demanding of all my contractors - both at home an at work. In my 40+ years of owning homes across the country and having built my own home, I was very impressed by the care and quality that we received from Bill and his father, Mr. John. I highly recommend that you have Bill do your next tile project - as I consider him one of the best that I have ever encountered. We were so impressed with the work that we are planning to remodel our bathroom - shower, tub and floors - with Bill.

Bill is an expert, professional at his craft. He arrived on time,works clean and the finished back spash was beautiful. My wife and I couldn,t have been more please with the outcome. All future tile work we want done, Bill will be our installer period.

Bill is always prompt for his estimates and shows up for the job when he says he will. He takes pride in his work and will make sure that you like the tile layout before he begins cutting and installing the tile. He starts and promptly finishes your job. He does great work.

Bill arrived promptly everyday. He put down tarps along the pathway from the front door to the bathroom, everything was perfect each evening when he left. Our bathroom was down to subfloor and stud because of water damage from a shower that was poorly installed previously. He built a new shower from fiberglass, tiled the walls with subway tile, tiled the floor of the shower and the rest of the bathroom with 1and quot; hexagons. Everything looks great, each line is perfect, just what you would hope for when the job is finished. We are confident that the shower will NEVER leak again...who could ask for more? When we get around to refinishing our other bathroom there is no doubt that we will call him again.

Bill was professional in all manners. He came on time for estimate and job, was respectful to us and the house - laid down tarp on floors and counters to ensure no damage, cut all tiles outside of house, and they were very thorough in their work. Used the proper cutting tools for the material we had installed and did many cuts to make back splash look beautiful. Grout work was perfect; no blobs. Also gave us recommendations for light switch replacement which we accepted and implemented. Looks great, will use again when ready for bathrooms.
