They did a great job, on time.

This is my first time using HomeAdviseor to fine a Pro for my project. It was a very positive experience. Bill from A-Academy called me right after I submitted a request through HomeAdvisor. He quoted me clearly and explained to me thoroughly. On the day of the treatment the tech gave me a call ahead of his arrival as per my request and spent time to explain the work process to me. I definitely will use HomeAdvisor in the future when new projects arise. Thank you HomeAdvisor for helping me find a good pro.

Came out within an hour. Took care of the yellow jackets (I thought they were bees) before my husband came home from work and attempted to tackle this himself. Today we are "bee"-free for a very reasonable price. Thank you so much!!!

Backyard rats are gone!! Thank goodness. Our neighbor had an influx due to being close to a restaurant filled Main Street that was closed during covid. The rats needed to find somewhere to eat…. To the torment of myself and my pets (aside from my small terrier who attempted to battle the rats for supremacy), they burrowed and hunkered down during the big snow storms. A-academy was quick to respond and the results were also extremely and unexpectedly quick. I’d say by their first follow up, we were suspecting some rats may have wondered back due to my terriers behavior but just days after the 1st follow up, again there was no sign of them. My only issue was during the follow up. We had someone return to refill backyard rat traps who had no idea they were following up with rats and couldn’t help that day. They came a few days later and replaced the baits. They replaced the baits one last time but never called. I had no issue with that (I actually preferred it that way) but I do also have two very large and aggressive dogs so that was a risk for the employee lol. Otherwise, I will say, we had yard rats this winter burrowed all throughout and they did provide ample poison and traps to eradicate that issue. Of course, next winter will be another story so stay tuned. Obviously, despite the phone/trap refill miscommunications, I would rehire them again in the event those tiny terrors return to torture my pets.

Very responsive, polite and informative. The inspector came out and talked with us about our carpenter ant problem and was able to get an appointment for us in a few days. The technician came out within the appointment time frame and explained everything he was doing as part of the extermination process. The price was reasonable. We will likely use them again.

Skip and team were great

There was a hole just under the roof that was made by birds and then further damaged by squirrels. It was at a spot that was difficult and dangerous for me to get to. A gentleman named Skip came to inspect it. He was very respectful of my wishes and gave me a very reasonable estimate. Then Matt came to the house to plug the hole using foam. He was very tall which was very helpful getting to the hole. About two weeks later, he came back to trim away some of the foam since it didn't look good from the front of the house. I would definitely use A-Academy again if I have problems again. Thank you very much.

Matt came and was very polite and Courteous. He sprayed my lawn for ground bees and offered to come back free of charge of I still had an issue within a weekâ s time. Would highly recommend them to anyone with pest issues. Tanya, Pine Hill

A-Academy had a Tech out to my house within a week. I had a paper wasp issue and they treated the suspected areas which were my gutters and soffits. We still have some hanging around but the Tech did state it would take about 1 to 2 weeks for the wasps to go away, but if we still had issues after 2 weeks they will come out for free. Hopefully they just stay away. Thanks.

They were able to identify and resolve my issue with the birds as well as seal up areas so that I would avoid the same issue in the future. Job well done!!!

REVIEW UPDATE: I was contacted by the owner who apologized for their work and promised to make it better. He made good on his promise on the same day. I came home to find a fixed cover that looked much better than before. I am also very satisfied knowing my vent is cleaned and sanitized and will not cause any harm to me and my family. Thank you, Vinny, for making this right. OLD REVIEW: They were hired to remove a birds nest from my bathroom exhaust vent. I was told at the time of the estimate that the cover would be replaced. They arrived and after they left we realized that their cover; was a mesh screen which they screwed to the siding and had no weatherproofing. When I called to complain I was told that they did not know they were supposed to bring a cover. Fast forward to when they finally agree to fix; the problem, their idea of a new cover was a caulked cover on top of the mesh mess. Now I have to spend time and money repairing their mess.

I had them come out twice for pest control and The guy that came out was very friendly and professional.

I would like to rate the service 5 stars as their customer service does get back and rectify any issues and also consider customer satisfaction as the highest priority. I will recommend this service for pest control.
