This was the second project where we used JRS. A few years back, we hired Jason and Brandon to replace our deck around our swimming pool. This time, we had them renovate our bathroom and downstairs family space. The end result to both projects was incredible! Our new bathroom is modern and sleek. Our downstairs is elegant and functional. Jason and Brandon were meticulous in their approach, from the spackle and drywall down to the caulking and painting of the trim and moldings. We now have two brand new rooms and we couldn’t be more happy! I would definitely hire JRS again for a future project and I would highly recommend them for either and indoor or outdoor project.

Jason and Brandon were extremely professional and knowledgeable . Very helpful in giving me ideas for outdoor patio space , including the outdoor kitchen, Gazebo, and shed. We wanted to remodel an upstairs main bathroom. After spending 14 months getting quotes and different proposals for a full remodel, I found JRS Contracting. I had them quote on the bathroom complete remodel and liked the price and what I heard. We were so impressed with the care and craftmanship at a fair price that we also had them do a complete remodel of the master bathroom. All visitors to our house describe it as "a 5-star hotel bathroom", as they did an exceptional job. We used them for many more projects - replace carpet with hardwood floors and baseboards on the second floor, a creative off deck entryway to a new hot tub and two custom closets. It is rare that I would write a review like this or fully recommend a contractor, as I am very picky and usually find too many things I do not like once they finish. However, I fully recommend JRS and could not find fault, as they were pickier than me! They also did an excellent job of cleaning up each day before leaving. Highly Recommend!

Excellent! Contractor is trustworthy and talented. He is creative, meticulous, and hardworking. He understands your vision and works hand in hand with you to create it. We’ve hired him many times over the course of 15 years to do many projects and all done to the highest standards. I’d recommend him for all types of remodeling work.

We wanted an outdoor area that we could retreat to during all four seasons. Jason and his crew built a phenomenal gazebo, complete with windows, screens, beautiful floors, vaulted ceiling and ceiling fan. He also installed electrical outlets and ran a cable line so we could watch TV. The result was a phenomenal little building that makes us feel like we're up in a tree house. A job well done.

Jay has worked on many projects for us over the years. Each job is performed with respect, transparency and integrity. He is a perfectionist with all his work; and it shows in the final results. Most of all he is flexible to changes whether driven by us or construction surprises. He explains what is required and adapts accordingly. Best review I can give is we recently contracted him again in our new home and will continue to do so for years to come

We contacted the company on 7/10/17 and were told they would call us the next week, mid week, to set up an appointment for an estimate. When they did not call we called them again on 7/21/17 and we were very rudely told that the company no longer does business in NJ, that they moved down south, and to stop calling.

Great work, he is very detail oriented. Excellent customer service, will answer all your questions, provide suggestions and ensure your complete satisfaction. Also, he follows up afterwards to make sure you are still happy with the work weeks after the work is done.

I am waiting at my home for 90 minutes and the contrator has not shown up. I have tried calling him and he did not answer.

My wife and I needed our 50-year-old kitchen remodeled in our small 2 bedroom cottage in Cranberry Lake and turned to Angie's List for a contractor. I called JRS (who had excellent reviews) and reached Jason immediately. Jason was very responsive, took a tour of our kitchen, made some very helpful suggestions and gave us a reasonable estimate. We saved some money by ripping off the old sheetrock, doing the electrical work ourselves, and installing the insulation. Jason and his helper arrived every the morning of every weekday until it was finished. The workmanship is absolutely incredible! Jason is a stickler for detail and perfection and it really shows. Even though I tried to talk Jason into cutting some corners, he persevered until the whole kitchen was done perfectly. I can't say enough about the fit and finish, the professional workmanship and custom design that transformed our kitchen into an amazing room we appreciate more every day.

It went very well. He was on time for the estimate. He thoroughly looked over the space and said he'd write me up and email me costs etc. The next day I received the estimate and he set up another meeting to go over the estimate. We met again went over the prices, he was very willing to please me by adjusting some things on the estimate. He also suggested a few things to make the counter look nice and for storage space behind the counter. He was on time in the morning got right to work. He is very knowledgeable about what he does and he is a perfectionist with his work. He was more than we could pf asked for because he even helped put up shelving and mounted it to the wall. At completion of the job he went over everything, we did walk through and it was a job well done.

Contacted JRS for an estimate on upgrading my bi-level staircases from contractor's grade pine to oak treads and replace wrought iron handrails with oak. Jay was pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. He got back to me in two days with an estimate which was almost double what I had expected. I had done some research as to material prices and had a ballpark figure for labor. I managed to talk him down to a price which I considered reasonable, but due to the time delay another contractor, whose work I was familiar with, became available and I hired him instead. I would be comfortable contacting this contractor again for future estimates if the need arises.

He was awesome! He was very honest. His work was to perfection. When we had the town official inspect, they were in awe with the work. If he couldn't’t make an appointment, he would always call. We really appreciated the phone call. He is very professional. He is really an artist, he takes pride in his work and takes it very seriously.

It went fantastic over all. He is a perfectionist with his work and is very meticulous. He was on time, he worked late, and he priced under our budget. He is a very nice guy and really cares about doing the best work for the customer and also is very helpful with other things if needed.

It went great! He was on time everyday ready to work. He suggested ways I could lower my cost and also ways to make the place look better. He did beautiful work on the counter and crown modeling.
