Was a very easy experience. They answered their phone, Made appointment within week. They arrived early in day, and did a thorough job. Would definitely use them again.

They are very good, I've used them before.

They do great work and have fair prices. They can finish one tree in about half an hour, and the cleanup is really good. I'd definitely recommend them!

Crew of six arrived on time, followed instructions carefully. Climbed trees to get to branches, no heavy equipment. Collected all cut branches and fed them into shredder. Cleaned up very well.. Finshed quickly, thoroughly.

We've used them twice and we've been very happy with them. They were very good just like the first time we used them. The only thing is that they didn't grind one of the stumps, but we called them and they're going to come back--it's not a big deal. They were efficient and cleaned up after themselves. Their pricing seemed to be very competitive.

The service was great and the price was great. They were in and out very quickly. My interaction with the provider was very good.

I found RKD with good reviews on Angie's List and called them for an estimate. I waited for another estimate, then scheduled the work. It took a while to get a firm date for the work, but we were eventually able to do it. The crew showed up on time with all the necessary equipment and went to work. The crew worked quickly, efficiently, and neatly and cleaned up the debris after doing the job. The only item of complaint, but I really can't blame the crew, was a large, tree trunk sized dent left in the ground in my back yard where they felled a 70 foot tall Sycamore.

They arrived as planned, called in reinforcements as several of the trees/limbs were near the pool and over fences. They were very careful with the septic layout, and so had to rope down the largest tree as well as a small one by the pool. They did get a truck in for 3 of the trees, including one right next to pool. They carefully brought down the trees and limbs over the pool and fences. They did all the work as promised, cleaned up very well (a bit more than they cut, as there was still some branches from Sandy in the woods), cut one large oak into firewood lengths, and piled it in the woods for my son to work on. Very easy and personable to deal with. I would definitely call them again for future work.

The came promptly in the afternoon, cut the two trees, ground the stumps and removed the other stump. The cleaned everything up and removed all the wood. The did a great job.

Atlantic Tree was extremely unprofessional. i explained what work i needed done and location and they scheduled an appointment for Jay to come by and give me an estimate.l. . When the designated time came and went I called Atlantic and asked if Jay was going to show up. I heard her ask Jay if he was going to keep the appointment? I overheard Jay tell her that he called to cancel and reschedule and "the guy didn't call him back". I asked what number did he call? Sure enough she had the wrong telephone number. I told her she had the wrong number to which she did not reply. (Most companies I know would have apologized at this point but not Atlantic Tree). I tthen asked her when they wanted to reschedule, she asked Jay who replied, well what kind of work does he want done. I told her the same thing I originally told her. She told him and he stated that no, he he won't go to Howell Nj to do tree pruning and bush removal. I asked her why she did not t tell me this when I first called and she said they don't do work in that part of Howell but only in the part of Howell bordering Holmdel. Apparently Atlantic Tree's knowledge of geography isn't that good as Howell and Holmdel are not next to one another. In stead of being diplomatic they had a very dismissive, " don't bother us" attitude.. I would not recommend them and will be happy to let Angie's List members to know of their unprofessional way of dealing with the public. This is the first bad experience I have had with any provider on Angie's List.

Came out day after I called to provide estimate. Called to set up appointment and they arrived next morning. Work done quickly and they cleaned up. Excellent job.

Atlantic Tree is great. They did a fantantic job. My property is surrounded by many large 50ft+ trees and I wanted to have these trimmed before the upcoming strom season. They did the entire job while I was at work (my wife was home and reported to me). When I can home the job exceeded my expectations and the clean us they did made it look like the large limbs magically vanished. No trace of wood chips from the chipper. My job was a large one which involved bucket trucks and chipper. I would highly reccommend Atlantic Tree.

Most of the work was carried out when the ground was too soft (due to rains) for the heavy equipment. Consequently, the final removal of the stump had to be done a month later when the ground was drier. All work was performed as promised, professionally and with courtesy.

The team arrived on time as promised by the dispatcher that morning. They worked for several hours and went the extra mile to assure that all branches were trimmed well back from the power line. They chipped all debris and left the property neat. These branches required some extra effort to reach without disturbing the lawn, but these guys made the project seem like child's play. I would definitely have them back for future jobs.

ATS arrived on time as scheduled.Tree was carefully removed with no damage to houses or lawn, slight scuffing of asphalt. Large crew worked as a team-very efficiently and cleaned up well. They were more moderately priced than others we have used.

The job went very well once it was finally scheduled. We are not living at the house and reside one hour north in Bergen County. It was important that we knew the approximate time for the service to be performed so that we could travel to the site. There were disconnects on the actual dates and times for the service however the tree was finally removed on SaturdayJune 15, 2013. The Atlantic team arrived at 1:30 and in one hour promptly removed the tree. The team was professional, and pleasant to deal with. Clean-up was thorough and we were generally pleased with the results. We will certainly consider using AtlanticTree for any future needs.

Atlantic Tree showed up exactly on time and started work immediately. It was a tough 8-hour job on a very hot day and they took no breaks except for a very brief lunch break. The trees they took down posed threats to our house and they took them down safely and carefully. We were extremely impressed with their professionalism and techniques. They did a good job cleaning up branches and leaves after the job was done. The only thing we weren't thrilled with was that a number of large gouges were left in our grass where their equipment was; another tree service we interviewed said they take precautions not to let that happen, so in the future I'd ask the same of Atlantic. However, we'd still hire them again because their work was excellent.

The crew arrived right on time in the morning and except for a brief lunch, worked straight through until the job was completed. We have never had better work done (and we've had a few different companies) and the price was extremely reasonable. No wonder it took a bit of time to get the appointment! Not only was this their busy season but they must be in high demand if their work for us is any indication of how well they operate. The office staff was friendly and more than accomodating. The foreman of the crew ran the show efficiently and smoothly and was very pleasant to deal with. I would HIGHLY recommend Atlantic Tree Service to anyone in need of trimming trees or removing them. I'm sure they have other services too and those must be just as good. They are the best we've encountered! Thanks!!

Overall, I give them an A, but I have to mention right away that I was not happy with the minor damage to my yard which I will elaborate on later. Their safety and protection of my major property items was impeccable. They did what they stated they could do without any problems. There was no damage to my or my neighbor?s house. My arbor which was directly under the three large trees did not sustain any damage. Each member of the crew was courteous and respectful. They showed up on time and were like an efficient swat team. They completed the entire job including stump grinding in less than 8 hours. I would recommend them to anyone requiring specialized tree removal in tight dangerous areas. However, if the trees are in a part of your yard, where the crew has to transport the cuttings to the street, ensure you ask how they intend to carry out the cut branches, etc. They used a rubber tracked Bobcat to move out the branches and logs to the front where they were shredded. The bobcat surprisingly did not do as much damage as I would have thought, but it did do some. A small portion of my grass although not in the best shape to begin with, was turned to dust. Although, they moved all my slate from the white pea gravel walkway, the rubber borders got damaged from the machine. When I asked about this, I was told it was inevitable. So I attempted to clarify, whereby I asked, ?what if I had a perfectly landscaped yard with sod, etc, you telling me I would have sustained this level of damage??. The reply I received was that they would have put down boards and other protective , but this would have cost more. Which is fine, except that they never told me this was an option.

It went great. All work done including grinding out tree stumps.

Atlantic Tree Service is a great company to work with and I wish I had used Angie's List before I originally hired "Top Notch Tree Service" for taking down my trees in the first place. Atlantic Tree Service showed up on time and performed all work in a complete and professional manner. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Very well, they were prompt coming out for the estimate and were able to schedule the work within a week. They came one day early when I was not home, but they took care of everything and cleaned up the yard. I was very happy with the work and the price.
