Description of Work: They did some exterminating work for me over four different visits.

+ 0 moreI assumed that since they were on Angie's list that they would not act like a typical contractor. (ie late, irresponsible, disregard for customer) I was wrong. Good luck.
Description of Work: I called to have get an estimate on a potential bed bug problem in a rental apt. They seemed fine during the initial conversation. I had to call back to make an appt and it took 2 days to get a call back. The routine seems to be leave a message on their machine and they will call back. They were not too prompt in getting back to me. No problem...maybe they are busy. We had a 12:00 appointment and at 1:30 I got a call saying that they were on their way. They never called to say they were running late. I had to leave for another appt and never got the estimate. They never returned my call the next day. In my experience, when this happens, it is a representation of the quality of work to come.

+ -1 moreTheir policy was payment in advance. I am no longer local so told her I would FedEx a check to her. The check never arrived. She asked me to send another by regular mail and she would do the service in advance. She did the service (baited for mice - said bugs were not necessary as they could find no problem - and so I was only charged for the mice). I sent a check by regular mail. Well - I was mortified when my check bounced! She had been extremely professional and really went out in advance to help me out. I called and asked her to re-deposit the check (which she was unable to do because banks rarely return the original). I promised to send a postal money order for the service plus the bounce fee. She told me that would be fine and mentioned she would check in in 4 weeks or so to determine if another visit was necessary.
Description of Work: These people are ABSOLUTELY first rate. I called Helen at Hoboken Exterminating and asked her to visit a rental property I have in Jersey City to treat for mice and bugs. She gave me a quote for both mice and bugs independently. Helen responded promptly and helped me schedule a visit with my tenants dealing directly with one point of contact - as I was out of area. In fact - they went to the building once but could not gain access do to some misunderstanding among the tenants. I was not charged for this even though it was not their error.

+ -1 moreThey came out right away when I called about the mice problem we had. They are very responsive. They are great, terrific and they are really nice guys. Their prices are reasonable for what they do. I would absolutely use them again. We have not had any more problems with mice since they were here.
Description of Work: Hoboken Exterminators treated my house for a mouse problem, setting poison traps. We also have them come out once a year for an ant problem.
