Description of Work: I had scheduled another company to come and put up railing on the landing of my front door, railing for steps, and to reinforce a current rail. That company didn't show. I was so upset; since the railing was a requirement for home owner's insurance. I called Hillside and they returned my call and showed up the same day to complete an estimate. The staff was very friendly and responsive to what I needed in order to maintain insurance and promote a safer walkway/stairway. That day, I signed a contract and put down a reasonable deposit. Within a week the railing was ready and a date was scheduled to put it up. The results of the job were pleasing to the eye and sturdy. I will use their services again for a patio that we are planning to repair. Thank you, Hillside Railing!!

I called these contractors on 2/1/2010 after being referred by Mike Sposato (who did a fantastic job with my new steps but does not do rails). They took a week to return my call and finally came out for a visit on 2/14. They said they would mail me an estimate, but after another 2 weeks of leaving multiple messages on their voicemail with no call back, I am giving up. They are either too busy or need serious help with running their business.
Description of Work: I just needed a simple railing installed from my front steps to my walk.

I arranged for bids for a railing for my elderly parents to use to go down the front steps. Danny came exactly on time for the estimate. His estimate was lower than another bid. He said it would be ready in a few weeks. My parents put a deposit down in October, but it ended up taking 2 to 3 months. My father called several times and left messages, which were not returned. The company said that they tried to call back but nobody answered the phone. I don't know who is right. In any event, when it was finally installed, the quality was excellent and the installation was done well.
Description of Work: Measured front step area for a railing (approximately 3 feet long) to be attached to the house, had it made (or made it?), and installed it.
