In needed a 1,000 gallon buried propane tank removed. It had been buried under a flower bed (and next to a 40â  tree) for over 15 years. Dave came, gave me a clear understanding of what he would do, and just as importantly, how he would do it. He laid out the plan for protecting my trees and not damaging my fencing. On â  project dayâ  Dave arrived on time with a great team and executed his plan exactly as he described. By the time they left you couldnâ  t tell they had dug out a hole 20 x 8 x 12. Amazing job. I highly recommend Dave and his team.

If anyone is looking to get grading and land level I recommend that you use Long Hill Contracting. Dave, who is the owner comes out to your home and does a walk thru. He asks questions on what you are looking to get down. He then present vision of your project with you. The projects turnaround time was very quick. I meet with 5 excavators about clearing brush and putting a wood fence on my horse property. I have a nationally know show stable with Olympic caliber horses. The fields and fences have to be safe and beautiful. Ours were not , but Dave came in gave us ther reasonable and for us affordable estimate and had a real sense of quiet confidence as to how long the job would take, the smartest way to do the job and what the finished project would look like.

Long Hill Contracting (Dave) went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the project. He is very professional, accommodating, easy to work with and did excellent work. I feel very fortunate to have had Dave on my project. He knew exactly what was needed in the way of materials and labor to provide the best possible footings and site plan foe a large (14' x 28' two floor) per-fab barn.

We had the worst weather possible for clearing trees, excavating, installing drainage, and prepping for a barn build on two and half acres, but Dave stuck with it and delivered the project as we had discussed. He provided updates regularly, and communicated well when issues arose by providing options that helped to stay on budget.

Dave not only was very responsive when I called but came as soon as was able. He showed willingness to go over several options before we landed on the agreed upon work. I especially appreciated his willingness to give a step by step idea of how the process would unfold. He also was persistent in finding a time that would work as soon as possible given weather challenges. Would definitely recommend him to my friends, colleagues and family.

The drainage issue was surveyed and I was presented with the solution and pricing, in a full disclosure contract. The work was scheduled and the team was there precisely at the time they stated they would be. The work and professionalism can’t be compared! Having had a flooding and ponding issues each time it rained, Dave’s work was put to the test the day after the work was completed, it rained, I didn’t flood. Dave was prompt and pleasant to work with. We had a very wet backyard with real possibility of outside water getting into the house -- and this happened once before. Dave explained and suggested grading work as well as an external French drain. His estimate was reasonable and his work professional. He was very professional and methodical, talked to the utility companies to mark the areas before any digging was done, despite that due to a marking error, he accidently cut our internet cable wire, which was no fault of his, even then he made a trip to home depot to buy a replacement cable and made an attempt to reconnect the cable. It was very nice of him to try that even though it didn't work; It was fixed by the cable company on the following day. Dave quoted a very reasonable price, came on time and completed the work as was discussed before. He was very courteous and answered all the questions very patiently. I would recommend his services to anyone without hesitation.
