Kepo Siding & Windows

We hired Kepo to do a major exterior renovation on our home including Hardie Plank siding, the addition of a portico, a Trex deck, roof, gutters with leaf guards, and stone veneer on the portico and our chimney. They're not the cheapest around, but also not the most expensive (like some contractors that do a lot of marketing). The quality of their work is excellent and they have stood by it even years later. We had a small issue with our deck where the Trex was sagging in one part - they came back two years later without an argument, tore the decking off, reinforced the structure, and reinstalled the decking. I have recommended them to friends and relatives who have all been pleased with the quality of their work.

The crew of four came to the house at the scheduled time, even though there had been a recent snow storm. They installed the 8 windows and patio door very professionally, at a reasonable price. Everything looks great and it's a lot less drafty. They overcame an issue regarding the door size and didn't charge extra. I definitely recommend Kepo.

Removal of existing patio door and replacement door was installed! This was three floors up and the door is a larger size 8ft. From initial contact to the final installation they are true professionals!

Had a great experience with Kepo windows at the height of the COVID -19 crisis. I had confirmed an order just before COVID hit and despite the challenges their professionalism didn’t waver. Kepo Windows kept their commitment and got me my 31 custom- sized replacement windows and a special order for a 12-foot sliding patio door manufactured and installed as scheduled. They were efficient and thorough, following all safety regulations and using PPE as required according to mandated protocols. We absolute love our new replacement windows and patio door and are happy to see how energy efficient they have been, bringing down our energy costs. I highly recommend them for their professionalism, great products and neat work and would definitely work with them again.

Excellent experience from start to finish. This company is very responsive to its customers needs and proved it with their honesty, integrity, and quality product and service. A family business, even the owner was involved in my job -- coming to our house to take the window measurements himself, and the sales and installation teams were nothing short of remarkable. The windows made our porch project better than we hoped for. We are so happy that we decided to go with Kepo on our window project and will use them again on future projects, no reservations what so ever.

The Kepo windows team was amazing. A team of 4 showed up and like an assembly line, each person was efficient and professional. The entire job included replacing 13 new double hung vinyl windows. The job started and ended in the same day. The crew cleaned up after themselves and took the debris (old windows) with them. I would recommend the Kepo team to anyone needing new windows, I would also do business with them again.

We ordered three large custom sized trapezoidal windows from a window company (not Kepo). After about 4 months of waiting for the windows, they sent out an installer. I basically had to “kick” him and his crew out of our home because he was so rude and unprofessional. He did not want to be there on a Saturday, as if that was our fault. But that’s a different company’s review. This review is about Kepo Siding & Windows. After kicking out the installer I had 3 windows that needed to be installed. The window company I ordered them from was unable to secure another installer as apparently they contract the work out to non-employees. So after some internet searches I came across Kepo Siding & Windows. I called them expecting to be told that they would not install windows that someone else measured and provided. But, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only did they come right out to inspect the windows, they provided an unbelievably reasonable estimate and quickly installed them as promised. They sent over a couple of gentleman that were just that, gentleman. I’ve never met such a kind, respectful, caring, and professional crew in regards to the treatment of our home and us. They were meticulous. I’ve hired many contractors and these days you’d be lucky to see one use a level. The window installation was complete and absolutely perfect. I immediately hired them again to purchase and install a 30’ glass railing in our loft overlooking our living room. Another meticulously completed job. This involved more than a railing. We had large, old, 8 inch support beams that were going to look out of place with the new modern glass railing. They designed a solution to wrap them with wood that we pre-painted black. It was nice to come across a contractor that could not only purchase materials and install them, but also provide design solutions and suggestions. We didn’t stop there. We had two very large picture windows that needed replacing. This time we purchased the windows through Kepo. Two weeks (not 4 months) later our windows were onsite and installed. Consistent to their style, a very precisely measured and installed project. It was perfect! We thought our projects were over at that point. During a very bad wind and rain storm some siding wrapping was peeled from our home exposing the underside material. This was at the peak point of our home about 30’ high. I had no idea who to call as the folks that installed our siding were unresponsive. During the storm Kepo answered their phone and came out immediately and completed the job in an hour, or so, protecting our home from any rain damage. We can’t say enough about this company! Very fair prices and professional employees who are courteous, on time, and leave a clean job site. We plan on hiring them again for some roof work and have them correct a failed deck installation by a prior contractor. Do yourself a favor and reach out to these guys. We’ve renovated 5 homes and have never come across a contractor (other than Kepo) that we would use over and over. Kepo you guys are great!

There were a few supply chain snafu's, but none of that was Kepo's fault. They did an excellent job. They epitomize professionalism and their work is exceptional!

They installed 13 windows in one day and took out all of the old ones. They did have to come back another day to finish off the vinyl around the windows but they made sure that everything that they needed us home for was done on the day of the installation. They didn't even want payment until the job was complete.

It went well. The whole process took a little longer than I wanted it to, but I think that is the case with almost all contracted projects. John, the contractor, checked with us every step of the way to confirm what we wanted, how we wanted it, etc. The quality of the job (deck) is top notch, and he even fixed the outdoor electrical outlet that hadn't worked in 10 years. Kepo takes pride in its work and it shows.

John from Kepo did a fantastic job explaining the procedure and pros and cons of the new material. His crew did a great job removing the old deck, fixed the some of footing and frame, and putting a new deck with new material. The job is much better than I expected, it is outstanding down to each detail I can think of. In addition, the crew cleaned area, spotless. The crew are also very friendly and knowledgeable, and have all the answers for my questions. John is also very good at communicating, kept me informed for all the steps. I am very pleased about the job and the way they performed it, including the submission for township approval for permit. It was seamless. I am now asking them to perform some addition of the deck. They invited an architecture professional to help. The advice is very useful. I have no hesitation to introduce them to my neighbors.

Kepo came out with an estimate. We gave them a deposit for the work. They told me when they would be available to do the work. They showed up as promised and did what was requested over a couple days. The work was done in two stages. They did the shutters and front porch first. They came back as scheduled to pour a new concrete slab for the back stairs and completed the stairs after the slab dried. They came back to check to see if I was happy with the job before I gave them the final payment. They made any adjustments and they were done. This job was done three years ago. I was and still am pleased with the excellent job they did.

installers were punctual during the installation. They were clean and professional during the installation. they were responsive when I noticed a rip in one of the screen. they provided a replacement screen within a week.

Did a good job explaining the project, estimating time for completion, and cleaning up. They also rehung our mailbox, new door bell, plant hanger without reminding them, as well as painting vents with matching paint.

All went pretty smoothly. There were a couple of minor glitches that were all taken care of fairly promptly. Very good service and quality workmanship and great customer service. We've used them twice now and would use them again. Overall a great experience.

The workers showed up promptly everyday and worked hard. Any issues that came up during the job they addressed professionally and quickly. I was really happy with the job and level of service I received from Kepo. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again if I needed additional work done on the outside of my house.

They are awesome. This is the second job that they've done for us and I couldn't ask for anything more. They removed and installed almost all of the windows in our house and then finished them off on the outside. Our house looks so much better and is much warmer too.

Faux brick siding in front of our house was broken. We discussed options with Joe and he suggested using Nichiha fiber cement boards. When we decided to go ahead with the work he provided us with samples which helped us in picking the right color combination of stones to go with the fiber cement boards. Joe and his crew were prompt & courteous throughout the job.

I was overall satisfied with them, however there were a couple of incidences like scheduling and things that any normal person would not have done in that way, but overall it was a good job carefully done. I think it was a quality job. I think their price was quite reasonable, as I checked two or three other places. Regarding their professionalism, some of the things they did were extraordinary. After they put in the windows which was fairly quick, it only took a couple of days, I had a situation where I tried turning down the windows and the whole paint came out and I could not get it back in. This was on a Saturday, and it was a cold day and it was raining too. So, I called the owner on his cellphone and he was at home. He got the stuff at home, came over, fixed the thing, showed me how to fix it and I just thought he was extraordinary that way. He gets after his crew and he makes sure that they do the caulking well. He makes sure that they cover everything. They tape off the things where it is supposed to be taped and they work carefully. They are good workers. Regarding clean up, I think it was everything I could expect. They agreed to take out everything I had on the house to be able to put out the sidings and they reinstalled it. They went down to the nitty-gritty detail. They had one place they needed to paint and one place they needed to do some cement work around basement windows, which they could not do in a weather of that temperature so they knew that they would be coming out later and that they did in March. They did siding on my shed, they replaced the sliding glass door in the back of my house and they replaced a regular door at the back of the house as well. They put in another door, not the main door at the front but like the last door that you have outside that they put in one of those.

They were readily available to answer my questions and very competitive cost wise. They also gave me a lifetime warranty for all the work, not just the windows. They were very professional and worked with me on the dates when they could work at the home, they were very efficient and cleaned up after themselves so well you couldn't even tell they were here. They even replaced a small piece of siding on my home free of charge after I had already paid them when they were just following up on the work. They were very nice, hard working people and you could tell they genuinely cared about their work. They do roofing and siding also and I will use them for that work as well.

Came prepared to issue a written estimate and explained all options as to type of shakes available. Was the midpriced of the 4 vendors I contacted and only one of two that did not try to sell me concrete composite or vinyl siding instead of shakes. Kepo arranged for all building permits, utility (PSEand G) disconnections and dumpster placements and removals. Once I had signed the contract Kepo even placed directional signs on a connecting street as well as the house so that the correct location of all deliveries would be more easily ascertained....( street is rather hard to spot and to reach due to one way road restrictions)Office manager kept me informed of progress on permissions by phone and email. gave honest estimate of time available and quickly resolved an error in type of shakes delivered to vendor. (Once it was evident a new shipment would be involved, office manager quickly delayed delivery of the dumpster so I would not have to contend with that piece of equipment until absolutely necessary) When removal and installation crew arrived owner himself reviewed what needed to be done. Crew covered all shrubbery and carefully avoided trampling some heritage annuals I pointed out to them. All downspouts were carefully removed as well as lighting fixturesand flowerbed fencing. Crews arrived on time every day and were diligent in competing all tasks. Crew was very professional and patient with neighbors who stopped by to admire the work. After original siding was removed, the installation began. Each day one member of the crew hand selected the shakes to be placed so that a random pattern would be achieved. The shakes were trimmed on site. The corner shakes were mitered to perfection even around a bow window. All lighting fixtures were returned to original locations as well as all downspouts. No final payment was made until all building inspections were completed AND P S E and G completed their safety inspection re dryer venting and electrical box reconnections. Owner did a walk-through with me upon completion and suggested painting options regarding woodwork (shutters)which I may decide to reuse or replace and which will be painted/supplied by another contractor. In short I would assess this provider as a craftsman, not simply a provider . Kepo takes great pride in workmanship and in the professionalism of the enterprise. I have recommended Kepo to all of the neighbors who have asked who did the job.
