Description of Work: We've been using Jay's Yard Maintenance Tree for 13 years since we moved in our house and they cut our grass and they do our annual clean-up in the spring and they trimmed the trees and mulch the beds and all that stuff.

Description of Work: I use this company for weekly lawn maintenance. They provide a decent product at an excellent price. Do not however expect individualized service, as they come in with a big crew and bang out lawns very quickly. They cut the grass of multiple people on my street and the crew works on 3-4 houses at once. I did ask multiple times, by calling and leaving a message, that they not blow the grass clippiings off of my mulched trees and beds. (When they blow the mulch with their blowers it blows the mulch off the bed or tree and into the grass/yard. It is very frustrating to clean up my property each year and make it look nice for the season with fresh mulch, only to see them weekly blow it away. By mid-season there are beds, etc. where there is very little mulch left, hence my request to them. Since they do so many lawns in a very automated way, I assume they don't want to waste time customizing service to the request of customers. To their credit, I do have a complex piece of property to cut and trim as I have fencing and beds and gardens and a pool to cut and trim around. Doing lots of gardening, I often leave tools or hoses on the lawn as well as dog toys, etc. and they are very tolerant of all this, not complaining and not charging me more than the customer who has a pretty empty or simple property.

Description of Work: Jay's cleared and cleaned up our trees that had fallen down from Hurricane Sandy.
