Lady came to quote my husband and I on price but only looked at the area needed once and spent most of her time on the computer. The quote was very high but I felt comfortable using them from recent reviews. I never saw her again for the duration of the project. The workers cleaned up after themselves but left trails of paint on our new tile which was easy to remove but shouldnt be necessary, especially when hiring a pro.

We had Rebecca come out to our house and give us an estimate. She was very nice and a pleasant person... after receiving the first estimate she did not include the interior of the cabinets, which I thought was unfortunate (especially because some of our cabinets have glass doors). The interior painting added about an extra $500 to the job, bringing the total price up to around $3200, which was a tough pill to swallow, but I wanted to get the job done so we went ahead with it. Onto the job - I thought the gentlemen who painted were fantastic. They were nice, professional, and they did a really good job. They were on time every morning and treated my home with respect. The cabinets look fantastic and I am very happy with the work that was performed. I would contact CertaPro again in the future if I had any painting needs. To be fair about the price, I didn't get any other estimates (which probably makes be a bad consumer, but I'm being honest). In my head I think I probably overpaid slightly, but I am happy with the quality of the work so I can't complain all that much.

Do not use this company! I got an estimate for the majority of a two bedroom town home with 2.5 bathrooms as a possible add-on on a time and material basis. They prepped two bathrooms and completed one. This added $4800 to an original $2400 quote. I asked for a breakdown in hours spent on the bathrooms because I was tracking it and I knew it wasn't possible they put that kind of time into it. The project manager, Rebecca, said she would break down the hours for me. That was two months ago. I've been trying to contact her by phone and email and She won't return them. The contract says there are late fees associated with not paying within ten days and they can put a lien on the house. Also, if I try to take them to court, it says I have to pay their attorney fees! I just want an accurate bill so I can pay them and be done, but I can't get them to call me back! Probably because they can make even more money in late fees. Stay away!!!!!

I had used CertaPro several times before and was always happy with the quality of their work. So naturally, they were the 1st contact I made for an estimate on our latest project. Unfortunately, this project never proceeded past the estimate phase with them - CertaPro's estimate was over 40% higher cost than 2 companies I selected from Angie's List to competitively bid even though CertaPro supposedly included a 5% customer loyalty discount. (AND the CertaPro estimate did not include the material for the carpentry portion of the job so the actual cost delta would have been much higher!)

Esitmate - Rebeca was ontime and very professional. Price - About 10% more than other vendors Quality - Excellent! Time - job started about 1/2 day late on Thursday with only 1 painter due to his partner being sick. We felt it better that he have his partner join in when he felt better rather than bringing in a different crew or someone he is not used to working with. The partner did not come on Friday because he was still sick. The partner came on Saturday. The job was completed late Saturday. Originally expected a two day job but turned into a 3 day job. However was worth the inconvenience due excellent quality.

Rebeca was great during the estimating process, answering our many questions and helping us determine what to do with our limited budget. Eduardo and his crew were very professional, working long hours to finish the project in one day. Eduardo asked questions to make sure that the job was done the way we wanted. Overall we were very pleased with the work.

This is the second time I have used Certa Pro...Why?, Because they do an excellent job. From the time the estimate was given until the job was complete they delivered what was Promised. The color consultant they offered was great and knew what she was talking about. The work performed was excellent,..and they try to let you live your life as normal while they are working in your house. The follow up is good and they were willing to return when some minor touch up was needed. They deliver what was promised.

Good presentation of work to be done. Helped with paint choice. Good supervision of job. Great work by Carlos the painter.

CertaPro responded immediately to a request for a bid and were very thorough. The price they quoted me was the most competitive of the several other estimates I had received from different companies and individuals. On the day the work was to commence, the painters arrived exactly at the time promised. The job took several days and the painters were very skilled and meticulous. I was also very impressed that Rebeca Jimenez, the owner of the Hillsborough, NJ. CertaPro, stopped by my house several times to check on the progress. She was always available and responded promptly to any questions I had. After I changed my mind about having a small section of the house painted, the painters were authorized to return for a day and take care of that, at not additional expense to me. It was a wonderful experience and I would not hesitate to call on CertaPro again.

Awful! They didn't start when they said they would. On the day they finally started they came late in the day when I was told they would start at 8am. When they couldn't turn off the front faucet that they used to power wash they told me they were going to Home Depot to buy a replacement part to fix it. I asked if it was okay, they said yes. When I looked two days later I noticed it was dripping ? they had pulled out the turnoff knob and jammed a champagne cork in to the spigot! When the painting was complete I had a plumber come to replace the shutoff in the front. When the plumber went to turn off the water in the house, we found that the painters had used a pair of pliers to crimp the pipe in an attempt to stop the water flow. They never communicated that the job was finished and when I emailed to find out when the screens were going to be put back in it took two days for them to reply only to say that they had tried to call me to see if I wanted to repair the screens before putting them back in to the windows (a few had holes in the screen material). 1st of all they did not try to call ? in this day and age of caller ID there is no point to lie about that. Secondly they had left the screens on top of the roof! How exactly did they expect me to repair screens that I couldn?t get to? They also broke the motion sensor spot light on the house and didn?t tell me so I had to have that replaced. There was paint on the windows that I had to ask them to come and scrape and when they did, they left the scrapings all over the deck. Despite the fact that that I had a recycle bin and garbage can in the driveway, they left their empty coffee cups and soda cans in my planters! I also discovered a week later that the empty soda cans were from sodas that they helped themselves to from my garage fridge (nice to find out the painters drank all your soda when you are having a party!) I contacted the office to have an adjustment made to the final bill to cover the cost of the plumber and spot light as well as to ask them to have the painters scrape and paint the window over the garage that still has the original peeling paint on it. There is touch up needed in several spots where I see bare wood at eye level. She said they would come and finish the job. They never did. To top it off ? the salesman gave my name and number out as a reference without asking me! Unprofessional to do that without asking but what about checking to see if I was even going to be a positive reference? I went with Certa because I thought that at least with a big name franchise there was less of a chance of an issue. WRONG! This awful experience is what made me join Angie?s List! P.S. 4 months later they call to finish the work! 3pm message on Friday that they were coming Saturday. I told her no because I wasn't home - she says we can schedule when I got back- well to her that meant send them today. Went in the garage to get something out of my car and there is a ladder in the front. Seriously!?!?
