His suggestion seems to have worked! I will DEFINITELY call Mr. Garvey when I need a help with a pest problem. It was so good of him to recommend another solution that I WANT TO GIVE HIM MY BUSINESS!!
Description of Work: I asked Mr Garvey to come to my house to give me an estimate to treat for some carpenter bees. He was nice on the phone and his son arrived as scheduled to give me an estimate. While he was there he noticed that we were in the process of having a new roof put on. He suggested that it may be a better approach to ask the roofer to replace the pieces of wood at the roof apex with a pvc "wood" which the bees would not be interested in. That would also save us from the added task of painting that wood. We took his suggestion and did not use HIS services to approach the problem.

I appreciate them coming out and their honesty. They could have removed the installation and performed the cleaning and charged me but they instead told me how to do it and saved me money. That I appreciated it. When I have another pest problem I will call them.
Description of Work: I called garveypest to come out and give me an estimate on pest removal (squirrels) and pest prevention. They came the same day I called them and inspected my attic. Since it appeared that the pest was no longer in the attic all I had to do was remove the nest. There was a hole in the roof due to squirrel activity but they of course do not repair the roof. I asked about instillation removal and clean up but the job was not really difficult and something I could do (my attic is small and a crawl space).

The mans honesty. He set these termite bait traps, shaving systems around the house, he came out on one of the hottest days of the year to do this, and we tried to tell him, it is okay if you like to schedule for another day that would be fine. It was so hot outside I did not want him out there. He said not to worry; he was going to have his son with him. When he showed up, he did not have his son with him and insisted on going out there and doing it. He committed to doing it and did it. I have to say that his integrity was wonderful.
Description of Work: We used Garvey Pest Control about a month and a half ago. We still continue to use them. We are under contract with them. They are treating our home for termites.
