I first submitted my information to this company through their website. I received no response to that. I then called them twice to give my information. Each time I called, they told me I would hear from somebody in two to three days. I didn't receive a reply until I left a negative review. By the time I heard from someone named Ed, I already had another company out to inspect the damage in my home. I told Ed I'd get back to him if it didn't work out with that company. That company didn't get back to me for me to pay them and provide the estimates. I decided to try submitting my information for a project on Yelp. I received interest from one company. That company didn't call when they said they would, so it seemed like it was going to fall through with them. I called back Ed to set up a day and time to come out to visit. I ended up hearing from the company that I found after submitting my project to Yelp, and it seemed like they were going to come through with the estimates I needed. I called Ed back to cancel our appointment because I didn't want him wasting his time coming if this other company was going to provide the estimates. This other company wasn't calling when they said they would, getting back to me days later when I wasn't sure if I was ever going to hear from them again. I decided to call Ed to reschedule another appointment. This time he told me his boss didn't want to be involved with providing estimates if they're going to be used in a lawsuit. He referred me to another company, which didn't respond. After getting the runaround from two other companies, Ed and AW Martin got rid of me by referring me to a company that also didn't want to get involved. If a company has a problem with their estimates being used in a lawsuit, that sends up a red flag for me. It's frustrating, but I'm quickly learning how to deal with contractors. Don't tell them what you intend to use their estimates for. Fortunately, I've found a fifth company that I believe is going to provide the estimates I need. I was honest with them and told them why I needed the estimates, and they're even willing to appear in court to back up those estimates for a fee. In that case, I'm sure I can trust them, and their estimates will help me greatly with my lawsuit.

They never returned our phone call. We hired someone else.

We arranged an appointment after work and they never showed up and never called. Obviously, we will move on.

My dream kitchen came to life thanks to Tony Martin and his phenomenal crew. The individual contractors were talented, pleasant, always neat and respectful. They were all highly skilled craftsman and artisans. The quality workmanship and professionalism of their work is apparent in every detail. The final result is absolutely gorgeous and I could not be more thrilled with my new kitchen!

Our project was completed with Complete professionalism by Tony and his project manager, Christian. Work was completed to a very high standard and the job progressed according to the expected timeline. I had no prior experience with AW Martin, but will certainly use them again for upcoming home renovations. Highly recommended.

AW Martin, save use over 1/2 million dollars in property loss and got us up and running in a day. We had over a foot of water on the roof that penetrated through.

We had someone come by to look at what we wanted done. Other contractors spent some time asking questions... 30 - 60 minutes. This guy was done within 10 minutes and I have yet to receive a response from them or quote, as discussed, despite follow up email sent.

Tony and Chris were easy to work with, communicative, and true professionals in their craft. Their crews and contractors were unobtrusive and did amazing work. Would happily use AW Martin again. Our neighbors actually stopped over to ask who did the amazing job our our renovation. Top quality materials and craftsmanship. Fair price, honest professionals who stand by their work, we love our new room.

The details:Just a few hours before I had to leave on a flight out of the country, I discovered that my water heater was leaking when water was coming up through the seams of my laminate flooring. I only had time to turn off the main water shut off valve and the circuit breaker before heading off to the airport. Once I reached my destination, I did some research on Angie’s List hoping to find a good one-stop-shop company who could take care of both the mold/water remediation and the reconstruction… I was lucky to have found AW Martin who exceeded my expectations. I contacted AW Martin after hours and reached an answering service. Tony Martin returned our call within minutes. He was patient and answered all of my questions. He explained that he would deal directly with my insurance company so I wouldn’t have to while on vacation. Within a couple hours he and his crew began working on the mold/water remediation portion. My dad relayed to me that they worked until 2 am and that they were extremely careful when moving my fine china from the sideboard into the dry kitchen. They protected all of my large furniture with plastic sheeting and floor protectors. They also used plastic to wall off the upstairs and my kitchen to prevent the dust from traveling too much. They ripped up all the wet flooring and drywall as well as scrubbed the mold and sprayed. They brought in industrial blowers to dry out the house. The next day they returned to the house and Tony met with my insurance adjustor to review the damage and discuss numbers. He was able to agree upon a number so that I didn’t have to worry about that while I was on vacation. I was able to witness the care and attention to detail firsthand during the rebuild process. Christian, Chris and Olger were polite and a pleasure to deal with. Christian always answered my phone calls and was able to answer any of my questions or concerns. He was the one that suggested the upgraded baseboards and it has made such a difference. His team’s wall prep and paint job was meticulous; no paint drips or messy edges. I did a couple of upgrades with the flooring, the recessed lights, and the baseboard where I had to pay more than what insurance covered… but the end result was well worth it. I would not hesitate to hire them again. I will recommend them to my friends and family.

The team was extremely professional, timely in execution, and protected all finished spaces well. I highly recommend the use of this firm.

i contacted them 3 times by phone and once on their website (first i contacted them was on MAY 28th 2018), it has been 10 days and i have yet to receive any kind of communication from them.

A. W. Martin was the general contractor for the project. A. W. Martin's personnel were prompt, professional and performed their work meticulously with high quality. I definitely would use them again.

Very pleased with our new bathroom and other improvements. Roof leak successfully repaired. The contractors were pleasant to work with. Above what we hoped to pay, but very good workmanship. we would like to use this company again.

A Owner Tony Martin came out to give an estimate on the floor joist, price ok B Roofing job seemed high priced for a over lay job. Both jobs were finished on time and done correctly.

The entire staff and owner were always punctual, clean, neat and highly professional. Answered all questions.

I hired someone else. I went to this company because they were in town.

The contractors were pleasant to work with. Long project, but very happy with result.

These guys put the ‘master’ back in ‘craftsman’! Once on the job, they are on-the-job! Professionals, they will arrive early, work all day and clean up their mess before leaving. If there’s a question about how to address an issue, they will ask the customer, but always have solutions to offer. Make sure you have all the items you’re responsible for ordered (appliances, counter top, cabinets, faucet, hardware etc.) and in-house, or with delivery dates because you will have trouble keeping up with them once they start! Quality of work is outstanding and always with an attention to detail. The job stayed on budget, all additional work was done under change orders – except one instance. Make certain to ask whether any changes being discussed come under the scope of the contract or are additional work. This is particularly important with sub-contractors like plumbing and electrical.

It was great from start to finish! Ton, the owner, was so helpful from the beginning. The team was on time, clean, did a perfect job. As planned.

All work was satisfactory to excellent. Back-ordered materials caused significant delays in schedule.

The project went well overall-and within budget. Before starting the kitchen, the sectioned off our den and living room with clear plastic and zippered doors to keep dust out and allow us to remain in the house during construction. We couldn't be more pleased with their work and professionalism.

Had to wait a longish time before project could get started, but completed the project in time. Very satisfied.

Showed up on time and gave me an estimate that evening that was over $3000. That price was well above another quote I received so I went with another contractor.

The two Martin Company employees completed the contract within 90 min will little problem since they had electronic stud finders that verified the measurements that I had made. The shelving brackets were placed with skill and experience achieved over time. The new white shelving and the support flanges provided closet poles that will not fail it was a relief to get these tasks done in a good, professional manner.
