Brian was extremely helpful and professional and a highly recommend his company's services. His investigation was thorough, tempered with advice about the relative significance of his comments and a keen understanding of the business deal. The investigation itself was informative and Brian was willing to answer all of our questions. He delivered his report in a timely fashion and was available for follow-up questions.

The home inspector arrived on time. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He climbed on the roof before we even got there. He was thorough and he explained issues we had concerns about. All our questions were answered. Took his time. We would definitely use again.

This was our second time using Dean Arrington Associates for a home inspection. We used them earlier in January and had Dean himself and he did a great job, very informative. We wrote a separate review for him too. The house in January fell through and we went under contract on another house and had Brian for our home inspection this time. The service was just as great and Brian made the home inspection even a fun process by showing us what to look out for, what maintenance to do, and cracked a few jokes along the way to make us feel very comfortable and confident with him. He was able to answer any questions we had and was fair to both us and the seller when it came to any issues that popped up (nothing major). Like we said, this is our 2nd time using them, and we would use them again in a heartbeat!

We ended up not needing it. We already had a home inspection and after the storm hit, we thought we might need another inspection but we didn't need it. The price was good because our first home inspection cost more.

Dean took his time with our home inspection, which is exactly what we were looking for. My fiance and I have spent months house hunting and we wanted to make sure we had an inspector that was going to give us a thorough inspection. Dean took our appointment on a Sunday morning and got straight to work. He started with Radon testing, went through the home exterior, garage, and then the inside of the house. The inspection was done within 2 hours. As he went around the house, he explained in detail the minor glitches he found with the home (thankfully, nothing major popped up!) and how everything worked as well. As first time homeowners, this was wonderful. Our home inspection report was sent the following day. Overall, Dean made us feel confident that the home we are buying will be well worth it and we would recommend him to anyone looking for a home inspector. We had my parents, my fiance's parents, and my brother with us and they all said they wish they had a home inspector like him for their home inspections. We highly recommend Dean!

He offered to come and inspect my home that same day even though it was his wedding anniversary. He spent about 1.5 hours here and went over all my concerns from the basement to the first floor and even my attic. He gave me lots of helpful tips and advise on what was going on and how each issue should be addressed. He was extremely patient and honest and seemed very knowledgeable about what he does. It was quite thorough and very professional. If you're looking for a company with honesty, integrity and promptness then don't even consider calling anyone else. So great to see there are still companies out there like this one and people like Dean!

I followed Dean around while he took pictures and filled out his report. He was very knowledgable and informative about the house. I also appreciate that his insight will help me to better maintain the house than I would have without his inspection. Dean also recommended some other no-nonsense professionals to help me obtain further insight and bids for work that needed to be done. I may have Dean come by every so often to help me keep the house in top resale shape.

Mr. Arrington agreed to an appointment with less than 48 hours notice. He showed up on time, spent 2+ hours going over every detail of the house. You get the impression that his expertise is tremendous... it was an educational experience. His report was ready the next day.

Dean was very thorough in his descriptoin of the work he would perform. His team was on time, and the report was thorough. He also made sure to show us items during the inspection that he noted in his report. Overall, we were happy with the detailed report we received.

The inspector was professional and knew his stuff. He went above and beyond to explain how to fix potential problems and to point out any areas of concern. The written report included pictures and a narrative description of all the things we talked about. Good job.
