J and D Plumbing & Heating

I've only worked with John. He always calls me back in a timely fashion and comes to our home promptly as scheduled. His work is always done well, neat and clean. We have never had a problem. I don't know if he is more or less expensive than other plumbers, but we value reliability.

I was satisfied with the work and the price, my girlfriend wasn't quite as pleased, she thought the cost was higher than it ought to have been. I don't know how that could have been ascertained without any comparison quotes, I feel it was fair for the amount of work that was done. (The price I quoted for this review is my best recollection, it may have been more, but my general observatin still holds A few months later we had questions about our jet pump, which Jand D doesn't handle, and the folks he referred us to practically talked us out of a replacement at this time, saying they would be more than happy to do it but it really wasn't necessary. The fact that the guy from Jand D referred us to someone else who dealt with us fairly would seem to reflect on their business ethics favorably.

returned after called and gave a and quot;storyand quot; that the leaks were not for the sink but rather from the window over the sink. I checked the valves (which were old and corroded) and found them to be leaking. After a second call to the office, they sent a real plumber who replaced the old valves. This should have been done on the install visit, and not on three service calls. They offered no apologies for the inconvenience to me and my 97 year old mother, whose house the faucet was installed in. Service is more important to me than price, and I felt that the servce was lacking in that I had to have them come three times.

He was downstairs in the basement trying to figure out where the pipe was for the outdoor spickett because we needed it replaced. He said we might have to knock down the wall but then he said he could fix it without knocking out the wall. We have a finished basement and the air hockey table in the way he asked us to move it before he got here we forgot to so he moved the air hockey table and cracked the leg and did not mentioned anything to us about breaking it. He had said that he wouldn't have to cut out the wall then came to us an said that he was wrong he was looking at the wrong pipe and needed to cut out a 2 foot hole and if we didn't want to drywall it he could put a big plastic cap on it. We did not want him to cut any holes in the wall so we did not have him fix it. I will never ever ever use them again.

He does a good job. He has fixed everything that I have ever asked him to. The price was reasonable. I am happy with his services.

He was a young fellow that was very well dressed. Appeared that he would be afraid to get dirty. He surprised us and did a very exceptional job.

I HAVE USED THIS COMPANY FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS. I THINK THAT THEY ARE VERY PLEASANT. I ALSO FEEL THAT THEIR SERVICE IS QUICK. IT'S NICE THAT THEY RETURN MY CALL RIGHT AWAY and SHOW UP RIGHT AWAY TO DO THE WORK.
