People's Plumbing

This was the second occasion we had to call People's Plumbing. Once again our call was answered politely and an appointment was made on our schedule. The serviceman arrived on time and took our information and we received a detailed quote about a week or two later. Unfortunately this time, we choose another company due to pricing and payment considerations. However we will still feel that People's Plumbing is an excellent company due to their polite and professional attitude, and they will definitely be on our list for future work.

Sergio and his assistant were excellent in all aspects of the job. Keeping me updated as they progressed and allowing me to inspect the work as they did it. They kept me informed regarding when they would arrive. and did all the work relatively quickly. The only shortcoming was they did not entirely clean up some debris both inside and outside. Other than that would certainly recommend there services

I have a dual AC system in my house.The downstairs unit died. I tried to get NJR to come out and they had nothing open until August!!! I called Kelton Services non stop all day Saturday. Nobody called me back. I was able to diagnose the problem myself as a bad Capacitor. My unit fan would not turn but I heard a hum and I knew it was a fan motor problem or a start capacitor problem. I gave the fan a spin with a screwdriver and the unit kicked in. However thats what I had to do everytime it cycled off. I called Peoples Plumbing at 9am spoke to Sergio explained my problem told him I was having a problem getting a service co out to my house and he took care of it. Within 40 minutes Sergio was at my door and within 20 minutes the problem was fixed. He also cleaned out the unit and tested his work several times befor leaving. I am very pleased with Peoples Plumbing. I highly recommed them. I will use this contractor again. I am in the construction field and they were very honest and professional.

Went smoothly, but tech. was 1 1/2 hours late. I had to call to ask where they were once an hour went by, wait another 1/2 hour for them to show, and cancel 2 conference calls that I had scheduled due to them being late. I would have appreciated knowing that they thought that my time was also valuable! I'm sure I paid them for a full hour for 20 minutes work - and they wasted an hour and a half of my time - would have at least appreciated an apology!

Auxiliary sump pump and back-up battery were installed less than 2 years ago by Anthony, the original plumber. Yesterday, the basement carpet was soggy due to a crack in the check-valve assembly he installed. Anthony was slow to answer an urgent call, inspected it, said it was the check valve and that he would send someone then next morning at 8 am for the repair. Nobody came. I called his phones repeatedly. No response. Thunderstorms are due tomorrow night. So I signed up with Angie's List for the first time, found People's Plumbing, who sent over Eddie. He fixed it in a half hour, with supplies he had on his large truck. The pump is whirring. I couldn't be more pleased with Peoples Plumbing.

Sergio Jr. and another gentleman were courteous and professional. Sergio explained everything he was doing, in detail. Unfortunately, the hot water heater had a dent in it, but it wasn't so bad and he said that it wouldn't affect performance. I was comfortable with this. I would use them again as they did a very good job.

Our 2 year old recently flushed a plastic toy down the toilet causing it to back up. I was able to find "Peoples Plumbing" on Angie's List with a solid (A) Rating. I placed a phone call and spoke with Sergio who was polite and well mannered. I explained my issue and asked for his assistance. To my surprise he was able to respond to my home in 20 mins after completing another job. He explained all my options before working and explained that I may need a new toilet in the event that the toy could not be dislodged. He volunteered to to "snake" the toilet, if it wasn't cleared he would not charge me. Long story short, he cleared it within minutes. I also had other nagging issued with a dripping shower head and questions about a bathroom sink install. He explained that the drip could cost me in the long run will high water bills. He completed the second job and discounted it. He took the time to explain and show me what he was doing. The price was fair and the shower work was guaranteed. It was a great experience, we will call "Peoples Plumber" in the future. He took my email and let me know that his company will soon be e-mailing customers a photo of the plumber that is responding to your house. You can tell they care and take pride in their profession.

I have had Sergio in to perform work on the heating system (and various other plumbing work) in the past and trust him and his company to do a professional and thorough job. In this case they were able to open the valve manually which caused it to function properly. It did not need to be replaced so there was no charge.

Sergio came promptly to provide an estimate for the work. He needed a special tool to sweat the bibs off since they were too close to the wall, so we scheduled another appointment for him to do the job. He came back and completed the work quickly and efficiently. He was professional and reasonably priced.

As far as the plumber was concerned, their work is clean and professional. Being a member of American Home Shield, my biggest complaint was with them. We went over a week without hot water as they spun their wheels because they were hemming and hawing about having to replace the unit when the plumber insisted that the manufacturer did not have the parts any longer for the older unit. I have no issue with People's Plumbing. They were very professional, knowledgable and capable. I would trust them with any job involving plumbing or heating.

They responded immediately after calls to @6 other plumbers resulted in no one being able to respond quickly on a Saturday. Tech was polite, quickly found the problem, and replaced a water supply line and washer. I couldn't be happier and will use them for all future issues. Thank you People's !

The men were thorough, discussed each step with me as it happened, cleaned up afterwards and were very professional. I will continue to have them on Speed Dial!

They were very thorough in examining the issue and determined that the leak was coming from a valve on the tub. They recommended that I hire a plumber who specializes in jacuzzi tub installation and repair, as the issue was not from the pipes and they really weren't the right people for the job. They made sure to tell me the exact details on where the leak was coming from so I could inform the person who I did hire for the repair.

They did not perform the work adequately.

Sergio does what he says and is courteous and punctual. I would call him again if I needed more work

The leak was where the water line connected to the humidifier. They came when they said they would come, did what they could and took care of the leak by replacing the little thing that is used to open and close the pipe. I did not have time to shop around, so I don’t know how their price would compare. I thought they were located in my town, and it turned out that they were not. I might see if I could find someone closer in the future, but they did a good job.

Excellent service. Sergio returned my call within the hour, showed up when promised, very polite and thorough. We feared the leak was in the snow and ice covered valley over a distance of 800 feet. he returned as promised with a full crew ready to chop through the snow, when we located the running water source in a separate auxiliary pipe that led to the pool instead of the main line. After shutting down that feed, he turned the water supply back on and we are good to go. I will absolutely have him back in the spring to repair the larger project. Wish all service guys were like him!

The elak in the basement was fixed perfectly. They also tried to fix my well. After that failed, they refunded all my money for the well job- which was very reputable

They were very quick to respond, they came when they said they would, and they did a really good job. I would recommend them.

An outstanding job performed by two exceptional young men. Very knowledgable. They explained that every now and again, the sink might leak after the adhesive dries. Told me to call and they'd come back for no charge. The job was perfect. Nothing leaked. They delivered everything they promised and with a smile too! It's great to get a human when you call and the follow-thru wasw excellent.

My furnace broke and was tagged by the gas company as unsafe and in violation. Rather than having this old furnace repaired, I decided to replace all the old equipment in my home with new high efficiency equipment. I shopped around and received several estimates from big and small plumbing/ HVAC companies. I decided to go with Peoples Plumbing as Sergio made himself available to me and explained what needed to be done in detail. I felt that he was honest and upfront with me and was not simply trying to convince me to spend extra unnecessary money like some of the other larger companies did. The job took 2.5 days to complete and I could not be happier! The employees of Peoples Plumbing were polite, respectful, clean, meticulous and thorough. This work occured during a heat wave. The guys were concerned for my comfort and worked extra hours to be sure I was not inconvenienced. They answered my questions, educated me about procedures, kept me informed and explained what they were doing. They were great! I am very pleased and I highly recommend Peoples Plumbing.

I called Sergio and he told me he would pick up the pump and meet me at the location. Everything was done as he stated and I was very happy with the service for the price.
