KMD CONSTRUCTION

Description of Work: Purchased an old home built in the 1930's and contracted with KMD to perform a total rehab. Two carpenters Bill and Mike gutted the entire interior down to the studs. They worked feverishly for several weeks tearing out plaster and lathe walls,ball and tube electric wiring and several layers of upgraded walls, ceilings, floors etc. leaving only the four exterior walls and the roof. They then began to rebuild as they installed new support beams, floors walls and replaced all the windows. As other contractors came in to install plumbing,electricity,drywall etc. Bill and Mike replaced the old exterior vinyl siding with new. These two men are work horses. They are also very polite, respectful and professional. Tom the job site supervisor was a pleasure to deal with. He too was very polite, respectful, patient and a true professional. Whenever an issue arose no matter what time of day or night Tom responded immediately either in person or by phone. I would highly recommend KMD Construction to anyone thinking of building a new home or having one renovated. KMD is a full service top notch construction company that produces an outstanding home.
