Mr. Proctor knew from the physical characteristics that the shakes were made of wood, which relieved me tremendously. Of course he took a sample of the shake for evaluation by an experienced, licensed Iaboratory. I received the lab report by mail within three (3) days. My shakes are wood, just I as I had suspected and he confirmed. Mr. Proctor also faxed my insurance co.the lab report This guy is great! Even if the lab results were different, I would still recommend him unequivicaly for his efficiency, professionalism, and just general humanity. And now I have a certified report of no asbestos what I will keep with my deed. Thank you Angies LIst for providing him to me.
Description of Work: Jim Proctor arrived at my home on the same day I called him, at the EXACT time he said he would be here. We had discussed the cost on the phone before he came. I felt that the fee was reasonable. The service he provided and is certified and licensed to do, is assessment of siding to determine if it is made of asbestos. This was necessary because an insurance evaluator said it is made of asbestos and my new insurance company cancelled my house insurance. I had stipulated when I bought the house that it have no asbestos.
