They just checked the roof and found that there was nothing wrong with the roof.

They were excellent. They did a real nice job. They were quick and clean. I was shocked how well they cleaned up.

Jim Milsop, the owner, arrived on time and was extremely professional. The quote was comparable with a couple of others but the difference was his responsiveness and the quality of the paperwork he produced on the spot. Work began within the 2-week period as promised. Everything was done in 1 full day. The work was outstanding as was the cleanup. The crew he has were good guys.

This was just for an estimate. Our original appointment was rescheduled due to the rain but they did call (which was a plus in my book since we had another contractor scheduled to come out the week before and they never showed or called) We rescheduled and they were on time they gave us an estimate for the work we were interested in as well as some other things they saw.

East Coast was not the cheapest quote we received but the owner Jim presented himself well and really sold us on him and his company. The workers arrived on time, did a very thorough job and cleaned up all the debris. They were very professional and personable, Overall they did a great job. The only complaint we had was a lack of follow-up from when we signed the contract and when the job was done. We signed the contract on 07/01/13. Jim said it would take two weeks to get the skylights and the contract said the estimated start date was 1 to 3 weeks. After 2 1/2 weeks we started calling, there was no follow-up from the company and they never explained the reason for the delay,just that the windows were not in. Eventually we were told they were on back order but if the company had been more proactive and told us that one they found out it would have put our mind at ease and made the process a lot smoother.

First, he actually responded to us by a phone call, and came out and gave us a quote, it was a good quote and he agreed to do little extra work for us if we threw in a little extra money, which we did. He was prompt because this was right after Sandy, so everybody was busy, but he made a phone call unlike the others that we contacted and his work was great. They cleaned everything up, didn’t tear anything down and did everything a contractor is supposed to do. It was great and he did nice work. The price he charged seemed real reasonable. He did everything he said he was going to do, exactly the way he said he would do it and when he said he would do it, so it was good. I would recommend him.

I contacted this company for a quote for a new roof. They showed up two weeks later to look at the roof but didn't have time to do a complete assessment. They were to return the following day to complete the assessment and provide a quote but never returned. To date, almost six weeks after initial contact, I have not heard from them.

He did an awesome job.

Jim came out, answered all questions, they came out and completed the job so professionally.

The job was fine. They were quick and successful. They did leave behind some nails from the installation in the yard.

They work came out well. The only issue with their punctuality was becuase they went to the wrong address. The person who wrote down the address for the appointment had wrote down the street name incorrectly. I chose then partly becuse of price as it was reasonable. What I was most pleased about was how the owner threw in a couple extra things that came up during work.

He was very easy to work with on the cost. I was able to pay half up front and the rest on a monthly plan. Jim was conscientious and nice. I have no complaints.

They did an excellent job. They are very professional, efficient, and cooperative. He really worked with me and the insurance company. I have no complaints and only praise for him. He was great to work with and is definitely on the customers side. They are reasonably priced and they arrive when they are supposed to. They’re excellent and I would recommend them to others. I was pleased with their services and I would use them again.

Despite several challenges, (weather, illness, and emergencies) East Coast was absolutely wonderful! Very professional and extremely courteous. Consistent follow-up by the office manager. Pricing was good and workmanship was evident.

I had lost some shingles from a really bad wind storm (durecho), and thought I just needed to get it patched up. When Jim came to do the estimate, he said I should contact my homeowners insurance company (Liberty Mutual), because I needed a whole new roof. I was sceptical at first, but the adjustor agreed with him. He cut a check right on the spot. Jim later contacted the adjustor, and got him to up the estimate, and I got another check in the mail. The crew arrived when they said they would, and got right to work. They laid out tarps around to house, to catch the trash, and they had a guy on the ground all day, cleaning. The work was completed in 1 day. They cleaned up and when they left there was not a single piece of trash in my yard. I have recommended to all my friends, I would definately use East Coast Contracting again.

Estimates and bids were prompt and well defined. They were low bidder out of three contractors. Arrived on time, finished in one day. Clean-up and trash was gone the next day as promised. Have had several bad storms and no leaks! Crew was polite and the boss showed up to see how job was going.

Chuck was the first of my contractors to return my call and came out the next day to give us an estimate in the form of an easy-to-understand computer print-out that he could do from his laptop and printer in his truck! All work was done in a prompt manner, even though it was done during the hottest weather of the summer. The crews were polite and pleasant, and their clean up was immaculate. If you haven't had a roof replaced before, believe me, this is very important. Of course, the roof and gutters are perfect and look great. From start to finish this was an excellent experience. We would recommend East Coast Contracting to anyone needing a new roof done the right way at a very competitive price.
