Tom was a pleasure to work with. He showed up when he said he would, and most importantly answers the phone when you call. This was a welcome change from other contractors we've worked with in the past who showed up randomly when it suited their schedule (not ours) or got back to us days later after we placed a call, if at all. Tom is a true professional and will be the only call we make for any work on our house moving forward. Highly recommended.

We have had so much work done to our home over the 32 years we have owned it...siding, a roof, new windows, a bathroom and kitchen remodel as well as breaking down a fireplace to expand the family room into what had been the garage. This was, by far, the most efficient, professional, and high quality work that has ever been done at our home; they also added a few nice touches to enhance the look and convenience of the porch. When they left, we could immediatley enjoy our porch and will definitely use Chappine Construction for future projects. I have already referred them to some friends because we are so confident in the efficiency, pride and caliber of their work. When the inspectors arrived, they commented on the quality of both the structure and electrical work performed!

Excellent.. Tom was on the site during the entire project extremely knowledgeable and superior advise,, workers were talented, efficient, friendly, helpful, neat, trustworthy. Project was completed in the agreed timeframe. Tom goes beyond expectations to meet our needs and request. Project was affordable and used quality products!!

I wish I could give A-pluses! Tom was an absolute pleasure to work with. There were a lot of twists and turns along the way and he was a great help in showing us different solutions, always with an eye toward saving us money where we could. He always answered the phone and returned calls and always made time for our questions (we had a lot!) I would absolutely recommend to anyone who needs work done for their home!

Tom is extremely professional, punctual, and fair. He has come over just a few hours before flying out on vacation to give me an estimate. He gets right back to you, starts the work and finishes quickly. I trust him completely - he has turned down work on some of my rental properties to give me advice on how to handle it better and cheaper. I called various people in to find the issue but most were not interested in helping to find the solution. Tom was the only one to let me know that he would keep trying until we found the problem and we eventually did. Tom replaced the storm door and sealed the perimeter and we also zeroed in on other weak spots which were all fixed. He was very professional and always came through with what he promised.

PERFECT !! Tom listens to what your needs are and gets it done... Not too many people can do that well. The workmanship was spot on and professional. The project went well and I really enjoy the results. I would definitely use him again. He is on the job site. Tom is also very good at returning your calls by phone or text. The above attributes were very important in choosing Tom for my job.

It was better than I expected. The men started early and all supplies were on hand. No delays and the entire job was completed in about 12 hours.

Tom and his crew arrived timely, completely stripped roof materials, even assisted in moving a vent that was in the way in the roof, and flawlessly installed our GAF Timberline HD shingles. Cleanup was immaculate. We are using him again in the spring for roofing project on our previous home that we currently rent out.

Chappine Construction took great care to help us with the choices we needed to make and coordinated all the tradesmen to get the job done quickly and of high quality. He supervised the job daily to ensure it was done to his high expectation. We are very pleased with the result and have received many complements on this home improvement project.

The entire project couldn't have gone better. The price was unbeatable and communication was great. Tom and his crew did a fantastic job replacing the roof and correcting installation issues from the original builder. We had windows that leaked and had been "fixed" by 2 previous contractors. Now we finally have stopped getting wet in our living room when odd storms occur. I highly recommend Chappine Construction.

Each job was done in a very workman like manner. We were very pleased with the result of each of the projects Chappine Construction worked on for us. Tom Chappine kept in close touch on each of the projects.

Tom Chappine, owner, was on the job when he said he would be. He was very accommodating. Went out of his way to match the existing house color, etc. When I did question something, his answer was "I want you to be satisfied," said he would make sure that happened. Cleaned up after repair completely. I was very satisfied with the work!
