Gave me an estimate on a Sunday. We settled the price Monday. They came the next day -- Tuesday to demolish existing wall and walkway. Wednesday they installed the retaining wall working nonstop all day until the evening. Thursday they laid the gravel and concrete for the walkway. Three days later they came to remove the 2 x 4 s supporting the concrete. The project was finished in less than a week. They were fast, at a reasonable cost and their quality of work was excellent. Plus they gave me a 25 year warranty on all parts on all material and labor.

The work was completed professionally and in a timely fashion. The estimator scheduled a meeting with me a day after the initial contact. Upon acceptance of the contract the work was started immediately the next day. The actual team of Masons were well spoken and communicated clearly all aspects of the job with me and kept me updated throughout. The finished Job was beautiful and they even recommended an additional task to the project which brought the whole of it together perfectly. Any time I had a question they would clearly answer it and even came back to fix a step that had accidentally been stepped on by a neighbor the same day I noticed it. Overall exemplary work with an even better price. My only complaint is that they wouldn't even take a break from working for the coffee I kept offering... : ) A1 Gold Is a must hire!!

They were great . They gave us a sharp price and did an excellent job. Neighbors saw what they did , the quality of the work and attention to cleanup, and they hired them too!

I was suprised they traveled the hour and half to do this small job, but I'm happy they did. Fine job using brick and Blue Stone to resurface my steps.

Real professionals. Good fair price; on time; hardworking, completed the job on schedule, cleaned up well afterwards. Would use them again and recommend to others.

We needed to have our front bluestone sidewalk leveled and back brick steps repaired or replaced on a quick schedule as required by our new home insurer. A1 Gold Construction gave us an estimate and completed the work in less than one week.

Signed contract with Mike for work on front steps. Was told that everything looked good and assured no further charges would need to be added. Three guys showed up at my house while I was walking the dog. When I got to my front steps one of Mikes "cousins" was inside my house. No one ever let him in. Yelled at him to get the "F" out of my house. He then began to explain to me that I should not have to worry about him, because he's Albanian, but I should worry about the "spanish". I told him that I was spanish as was his co worker. I then told him to shut the hell up. Mike got on the phone and then tells me that he was going to have to charge me for replacing the foundation. I told him to pack his crap and get his men off my property. He then said that he would drive down and inspect the problem. I told him I was not paying a cent more than we agreed to and that if he could not do the job correctly not to do it at all. Mind you they had already completely destroyed the front steps. Got a call that night that the job was done and they wanted to get paid. I told him I would have to look at it first. I also told him about his worker walking into my house without being invited and what he said about "spanish". He laughed, thought it was hysterical. Checked the job and it was done but sloppy. They used my hose wand and left it behind the bushes. Never got rid of all loose stones. But my wife was home at around 6:00 pm when it was dark out. They turned on the radio in their truck and proceeded to blast their music. My wife was a little scared to come out but she looked out the upstairs window and saw all the neighbors were out to see what the racket was. Completely un professional. I would not recommend these guys and am not satisfied with the quality of their work.

The experience with this company was great.needed my front stairs replaced and they came out and gave me a fair estimate.originally we agreed to start in a week from the date but vino the rep called me 2 days later and said they can start earlier if ok,I agreed and it was done the same day.they cleaned up everything and even raised my awning for no charge.they even let me pay for the when work when it was done,so i can inspect it, who even does that.overall very satisfied with this company.

There work was great!!

Repaired chimney and back brick stairs. Workers were nice and worked hard. Work was adequate with flaws (i.e., 1 side of top row of crown bricks is not even, concrete overlapping top corner). Damage to surrounding environment (fence post cracked and dented probably due to falling brick; garden hose damaged, no longer functional probably due to excessive stretching to top of roof; water heater temperature knob was not properly reset, plant and grass damage). Communication was not good. Came late and had to work late because of unexpected problems with chimney resulting in finishing when dark so could not adequately inspect work. Hopefully work was done properly.

I'm dissatisfied with the workmanship from this company. They left debris all over the property. They left my porch lifted on studs. They breached what was written on the contract. They will not return my phone calls. Seeing is believing. I've attached links to pictures of the work they did at my home. Hard working, highly skilled, family owned business. These areEuropean trained Masons with a wonderful work ethic. Worked in 90 - 93 degree heat. Showed up on time to start, stayed on schedule, lived with my changes without blinking an eye. Finished on time and did an exceptional job. Great value. I am planning on using them again soon.

This is a follow-up to my first review on 7/16. Since then the owner of the company stepped in and made sure everything was taken care of correctly. He sent a team to the property to do the finishing touches on the walkway, then he personally call the city to set up an inspection for the work done. Each step of the way he called me and let me know what he was doing, leaving names of who he contacted so I can go ahead and contact them and verified he made the call. He even went as far as to waive the balance due on the contract. All in all a good end to a situation that could have been far worse. Excellent customer service on their part. Thanks!!!

Replace broken sidewalks. Great job, Great price. Quality workmanship making sidewalks non-slip. Will use and recommend for all concrete needs. Small down side - Didn't noticed workers dump unused concrete on the grass in side yard by bushes.
