We used Synergy Home Improvements for our Kitchen Remodel project and are highly satisfied with all work performed. They did the demo, installed all new drywall (walls & ceiling), complete floor removal of old tile & sub floor, and then installed new porcelain 12x24 tile throughout: entrance way, main hall, entire kitchen, and bathroom/powder room. They also did a fantastic job with the backsplash which had a lot of small pieces. They were very particular to ensure everything was plumb and level. Finally, they completed the job with painting, full replacement of all new casing/baseboards/trim work and thresholds (with staining) throughout the lower floor. Mark and crew were exceptionally professional, patient, polite, made recommendations, and ensured all work areas were clean and safe throughout their time in our home. Mark and his team did wonderful work. They were very professional, arrived promptly at 8am and worked all day. They also were very clean and cleaned up at the end of the day. We originally were only getting our kitchen and foyer painted but I requested the whole first floor because of how well they did and even with Marks busy schedule he was able to fit us in the following week to finish up in time for a family party we had that weekend.

When we moved into our new home, there were more than a few nail holes and other imperfections on the walls. After settling in for a few months, we brought in Synergy to repair and refresh the walls. The whole process was very smooth. Synergy was quick to respond and flexible in scheduling. They provided a free estimate, even working through a few options, and stuck to that estimate perfectly. They worked quickly and were very accommodating of my work from home schedule. Overall we were very pleased with the outcome. The paint job is great, and it makes the whole place look fresh, clean, and new.

Excellent and exceeded my high expectations!! Mark is without a doubt one of the top contractors I've ever hired in terms of skill, professionalism, responsiveness, flexibility, neatness, punctuality and management of his employees. I had originally purchased just a painting Big Deal with Mark but I was so impressed with his service and ability that I hired him for several other projects. I am very cost conscious and I feel that Mark provided an excellent value for the money. He gladly took on the additional projects and kept to his original timeline. He was a sincere pleasure to deal with and I'd hire him for other work in a second!

We lived in Panther Valley and owned a Townhouse for almost three years. We decided to start doing upgrades in our home but were skeptical about hiring someone we knew nothing about. After speaking to friends in our Church they referred us to Mario. Our kitchen walls, backsplash, trim bathrooms and laundry room looks beautiful. We could not be more pleased and satisfied with the work Mario and his staff have provided throughout the year. They are reliable, professional, and trustworthy and their job performance exceeds our expectations. We still need to paint our 2nd floor and Mario is hired to perform this job in the next few months. We highly recommend him and his staff.

Mark and his team did everything for us, they are excellent! We supplied the finish materials and they supplied all the building materials. The entire process was very organized, and timely. They cleaned up after themselves EVERY DAY and in the completion of the project they left the house looking PERFECT! I really cannot say enough about Mark Shutco and his TEAM, they are them only contractor we will use for painting and remodeling work.

Mark and team did it exactly on schedule, kept costs exactly as agreed, and provided frequent updates on the project. When I asked for additional items, Mark quickly provided updated, itemized invoices, and was very reasonable with additional charges. After 10 years of living in our home and a few roof leaks leaving stains on the ceiling and bathroom flooding we finally decided to have select areas of our home interior repainted. The service was truly great and exceeded my expectations from start to finish. And I am not easy to please! Mark from Synergy provided a detailed bid on the date and time requested, scheduled a time convenient for us for the work, arrived as stated/completed on time and best of all the work was excellent. The great precision and attention to detail was clearly seen. They repaired the ceiling beam that had bulges due to the water damage, repaired wall areas where we banged against and stained and painted multiple door frames, repaired the nicks and repainted with delicate care the French and bedroom doors. They even removed all the cobwebs on the ceiling!! – above an beyond!! And matched everything perfectly. All done in a single day. Very, very,very happy, very professional and will absolutely highly recommend and use again!!! (Note: I selected Synergy based on reviews in Angie's list and totally agree - wonderful service!!)

Mark is very professional and easy to work with. His team was punctual, hard working and respectful. They did a great job patching wholes, replacing seems and fixing all imperfections on the wall. They also did a great job framing out 2 windows on a dividing will, results are better then I expected. I will definitely be contacting them again for my next project!

Marc came out the day after I called to give me an estimate and started work just a few days later. The work was done very quickly and professionally. The ceiling looks great and the room was left in better condition than when they started. One of his guys even came back the following day to replace a loose spring on one of the can lights. I would definitely use them again.

We have had many contractors work on different projects in our home and none of them can compare to Mark's level of professionalism, attention to detail and fairness in price. He is extremely hardworking and does not nickel and dime you. We originally hired him to paint the walls and millwork in our home. His work was flawless and if there was anything that I wanted fixed, he would work on it until I was completely satisfied. We knew he was different from every other contractor when he painted a few extra walls (that were badly painted by a previous contractor) without us mentioning it and without adding an additional charge. We enjoyed working with him so much that the paint job turned into many more projects. In addition to painting, Mark is a wonderful carpenter. He installed beautiful box beams in our attic and stained them to the exact color I wanted. We also hired Mark and his crew to renovate a bathroom for us. He is able to work with high end materials, which not all contractors are experienced with. Everything from the plumbing, tile work and shower door installation was flawless and he was able to stay within our budget. We couldn't be happier!

We couldn't ask for a better experience! From the time of first contact, Mark was professional, timely and great to work with. We do not live near the home we had painted, and Mark was so accommodating. We were not the easiest to work with, our color selections were late, we were remote and yet he remained so helpful, patient and courteous. He even sent pictures to help us avert a poor color selection. The results were amazing. We arrived after the job was completed to a clean work-site and a beautifully painted home. Mark fixed so many little wall imperfections and all lines were clean. He also did a few extra things that we asked for at no additional cost on a quote that was already very competitive (we did get multiple quotes). We highly recommend Synergy!!!

He was on time, did a nice job with all the repairs, and a nice job with the painting. Joints between colors were very clean and good. No negative surprises. Even reduced the cost slightly since less paint was required.

Synergy was a great choice! Mark and his team showed up on time, were professional, left the house clean, and most importantly did an amazing job painting the interior of our home. We had almost every room painted and had crown molding installed on one floor. Everything exceeded expectations. We have an old house with plaster walls which are difficult to paint well. Mark and his team did it with ease. I should add that I was a pain in the neck customer, adding more work to the project without giving him more time to get it done. I'm sure it annoyed him that I kept calling and changing my mind, but he never showed it. And in all the confusion I expected things to get missed or mistakes to be made, but they did everything just as I asked. I also got a few quotes and found their rates to be competitive, and there were no surprises when the job was completed. I will definitely use them again.

Mark and his Synergy team did an amazing job in our home. My wife and I decided to look for help finishing our basement and paint some rooms in our house that needed to be updated. The work consisted of spackling the basement which was already sheet rocked, priming/painting, and installing molding, as well as painting a stairwell and nursery. We first reached out to Synergy for a quote on the job. Mark showed up right on time and explained in detail everything they would be able to do for us and sent us a quote the same day. Because of his professionalism and promptness during the quote process as well as the very reasonable quote, we decided to use them for the work. The first day, his crew showed up right on time to paint the stairwell and nursery, they immediately covered the carpets to protect them and then fixed any dings or nail pops in the walls before painting. Even after the first day, I was very pleased with the amount of effort to they put into just painting these two rooms. The result was perfect. The rest of the time Synergy was finishing the basement. This was a lot of work, but they did a great job and even fixed a bunch of sheet rock mistakes I made (thanks guys). Every day they came, they were on time, courteous, and they kept the workspace clean and organized. They were very professional. I couldn?t be more pleased with the work they performed. Owner responded quickly to my request for an estimate. He gave me a written estimate with no hidden charges. His workers showed up on time the days of the appointments. They were polite, courteous and did a professional job. They also made a point to clean up nicely. I would definitely use Synergy again for future projects.

Mark and his team showed up promptly every day for the 3 1/2 days it took to complete the job. Mark stayed true to the estimate, and his professionalism and the quality of the job was an absolute "A+" in my opinion. He had a crew of two others, who were also polite, professional, and did great clean-up all along the way (we were living in the house while the job was being done). We will definitely use Synergy again, and have already asked for an estimate for the stairwell walls and woodwork for an upcoming project. I will recommend him to anyone who needs this type of job done. Very conscientious, friendly, and professional. You will not be disappointed!

Excellent. Made all of my time constraints work within a limited framework. And at a busy time for painting contractors across the board! Would use again and are planning to for next paint job as well as possible bathroom work.
