Maryan (the owner) is awesome. A true professional with high integrity. He and his team were hard working and had a strong focus on quality. The work was done on time, on budget and I was extremely satisfied with the quality of the work. I would use them again and in fact, my neighbor is using them as well. I mention Maryan's integrity because I overpaid him in cash and he brought it to my attention and made sure I got the overpayment back. I truly appreciated his honesty.

The painters and the owner arrived a little late, but they phoned to alert me that they had hit traffic. They worked throughout the day and did not take a lunch. They cleaned up after themselves and left my home spotless. As they painted the painters checked with me to make sure they were painting all the right surfaces such as the common doorway between the kitchen and dining room.

Maryan responded promptly and arrived on time for the estimate. The estimate was given the same week. The job started as promised. Maryan arrived with 2 men and worked in a very respective and professional manner. He promised it would be done in 3 days and it WAS!! I love their work , they cleaned up afterwards and removed some unwanted items in the garage.. I am hiring them again for removal of wallpaper in bathrooms

They were quick and professional and cleaned up after themselves. Great to work with and hard workers. More than got my money's worth.

We purchased two coupons for Angie's List, but due to a family emergency, we were unable to use the coupons, and they expired. I called the provider to see if we could still employ them. As a result of Angie's List, they could not take on new clients, but they happily refunded our coupon price, less what their commission was to Angie's List. They had no obligation to do this, and I was very happy, of course. I lookf orward to working with them in the future, when they are less busy!

Everything went great, scheduled an appt, guys came, painted the foyer, cleaned up and left! They were very polite and meticulous in their painting. I am thrilled with the results!

They showed up on time for the estimate and the second day that we requested because we wanted some additional things. Very good with communication and confirming when they are coming to do the work. The painting was above our expectations! We had then paint our living room and stairway and ceilings. They do great work and you can tell that they take pride in their work. They were very helpful and considerate. The whole experience was a pleasure from start to finish! I will definitely use them in the future!

The painting job was excellent. The painters arrived when they said they would and did a careful and precise job. No paint on our wood work. Remembered where all different colors went.

Polite guys, easy to have in house, on-time and timely communication They were thorough and knew their job - would do again. I thought we would get done a bit more than we did. Perhaps my expectation was unrealistic - perhaps the work on edges/corners/borders could have been faster. In any case, they were accurate.

We used 1 Royal to paint our new house. It went very well. He was always on time and professional. They did a fantastic job which resulted in exceeding our expectations. I would highly recommend 1 Royal for any painting job.

They did a great job painting and I'm very happy with the results. However, it did take them a few weeks to add me to their schedule and they were a little curt in our interactions. Not rude...just not terribly friendly. However, like I said, I'm very happy with their work.

I found them via Angie's list. Maryan is the owner. I called him on a Saturday planning to ask him to come give an estimate sometime the following week. He offered to come to my home the following day - a Sunday. Sunday! He came at the agreed-upon time. He was pleasant yet concentrated on the business we discussed. Professional. I liked this. We discussed the work, he asked some good questions about the job I wanted done. He gave me an estimate right there. I liked the price and agreed to use his service. We agreed on a date - about a week later. His two men came on time and worked in my home for the entire day. They were professional, polite and worked quietly and efficiently. They finished at the expected time, cleaned up and departed. No problems. I am very happy with all aspects of dealing with 1 Royal Painting and can recommend them to others without reservation.They did an excellent job.

Our home being nearly 60 years old with plaster ceilings and walls presented a huge challenge in repairing cracks in walls and ceilings and pealing areas of paint. The preparation and attention to detail resulted in a magnificent job. They were perfectionist...spackling areas numerous times to get desired results and applying two and three coats of paint, where needed. Maryan and his crew are professional, friendly, on time and provide quality of work...highly recommended!

Went very well. They were prompt, neat and courteous and in/out in one day. Both rooms had not been painted in years, had lots of places that needed to be prepped. Both rooms look great and i will definitely use Maryan and his team again. His work was very good and his price was very fair, especially given the quality of the work. I will use them again.

I contacted Maryan on a Thursday and he came on Saturday to give me an estimate. He started the job on the following Monday and completed it on Tuesday. He has a great attitude and wants the homeowner to be happy. Before leaving, his crew wiped down all the woodwork and did a great job cleaning up.

It went very well. Maryan and his crew were very careful, put covers on all the floors, and did an all around great job of painting prior to our move-in. He called back quickly when I contacted him with questions. When we saw small flaws after he left, he returned and quickly fixed the minor defects. I was very impressed that they covered the walls surrounding the sink where they cleaned the brushes to prevent splashing of paint in my laundry room. Meticulous work.

..it was not in the best condition before and they made a huge difference in the time they estimated. I will be using them a gain in the future

Maryan and his crew were great! He was super responsive and extremely courteous. The first thing he and his crew did was identify the source of a leak which was creating a stain spot on our kitchen ceiling which a plumber couldn't even figure out. (The plumber thought it was the toilet in the bathroom roughly above, when in reality Maryan's crew pointed out that it was actually the damaged seal on one of our roof vent pipes.) Then after we got the source of the leak addressed, Maryan and his crew returned and repaired our ceiling (including a few surface cracks in our family room ceiling), painted the ceilings, and also patched our family room walls where we had our flat screen TV installed and had to cut holes to fish the wires. They covered up everything and prepped, did a prompt and quality job, So far, it's been four months and we are still pleased with the results.

They were capable as well. There were no other charges. They did a good job and they came on time. It was a good experience. It was easy to set up the appointment. I had no issues around that. I would use them in the future.

Maryan was a pleasure to work with and his team did a great job on our closets and throughout our condo. After we moved in, we discovered that the previous painters had painted over the coax cable which ran all over the condo. It looked awful. Maryan and his team removed the coax cable, repaired the areas where the removal pulled off the paint and painted the area. You can't even tell there was ever any damage to the wall. We also removed a door and he was able to fill in all the areas that needed it with wood filler and painted over the areas. Again, we were impressed to see that unless you look very very closely - you can't tell a door was ever hung in the area. Maryan was very professional, friendly and a pleasure to work with!

They painted my finished basement in two colors (there is quite a bit of trip). They did a beautiful job- really perfect. After they left there was no clean up.
