Schaffer Structural Systems

The old fence was removed; the ground regraded in several spots; the new rail post & rail fence installed including two gates. All the old fencing materials were taken away and a through cleanup performed. This all as per their price and performance quote.

We needed a new septic system installed in order to market our home. Our old system did not meet current codes. Tom Schaffer worked with us from the time we started the process back in June, through soil log testing, survey,planning, and excavation, making sure that we met all requirements for the system. He explained everything in terms we could understand, and was always available to answer questions and provide assistance. We have been very happy with Mr. Schaffer's work.

Fully explained different choices. Meet with us at Home Depot to show us different materials and processes. Did job in one day including replacing some siding that had been blown off during Irene. Replaced several sheets of Plywood. Clean up was complete including running a large magnate multiple times over drive way and lawns until no more nails were found. Dumpster came in day before the work was done and was out the day after the work was done. Professional and friendly from beginning to end. We are currently using them for inside general contracting working.

Roof damage caused by Irene. Water had already caused damage in 3 rooms. Called many other roofers and most did not get back for several days. Once they did get back they all stated it would be at least 2 weeks before they could come. While this team was just as busy, due to the interior damage that had already occurred and the fact that more heavy rain was due that night, the owner who had just finished a job, and sent his team home for the day came out himself an hour later and did the job. We have had heavy rains and 2 feet of snow since the repairs without a problem.
