Work was excellent, very professional and courteous. Came when they were supposed to and worked expediciously. Only issue I had was at the office. She never called back the few times she was supposed to.

Everybody is warm. Joe was on time the first time. A bit late the second, but they were squeezing me in at the last minute. Both times I called at 9 am and the problems were fixed before the end of the day.

I live in a 2800 sq foot colonial with 3 zone heating. 2 of the 3 heating valves were totally fried and our home was basically operating as one single zone. Our heating bills in March getting out of control. I called Duct Mate and they were very curteous in professional in scheduling a technitian to come out to our place. We had a great technician, David, who was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He did our furnace inspection and cleaning the first day and took the time out to show me each part of the system. Once he diagnosed the problem with our 3 zone system, he was able to get me a quote on the spot to fix it. I found it acceptable and scheduled the 2nd visit the next day. David came back the next day and completed the heating zone repair in about 2 or 3 hours. It was a large job, he was very clean, and nicely rearranged and zip-tied the wiring. I would definitely hire them again for any of my heating or A/C needs.

Since PSE&G customer service is awful, they initially told me they couldn't send someone to service my boiler until the next day. I didn't want my 2 small children to spend another night in a cold house so I called Duct Mate. Brian called me back right away. I explained my situation and he said he understood and would call a few of his men and rearrange schedules to see if they would be able to come out that day. He called me an hour or two later and said they could come to my home. In the mean time, I spoke to PSE&G and convinced them to come to my home the same day. I called Brian back and he was extremely pleasant and understanding. I will definitely use them for our yearly boiler maintenance.

Requested an estimate to replace a central A/C system. They never showed up or called me for the first appointment and barely made it on time for the 2nd appointment. Estimator was professional, thorough and knowledgible. Took a few days for them to email a quote and they NEVER followed up to respond to my questions or even provided any discounts.

Called co, service was scheduled for a few days later. Co called to confirm the appointment the day prior. Technician arrived at planned time. Unit just needed some simple electrical updates. Angies list discount coupon applied on this job.

They were patient with the legal jockeying and always returned my calls promptly. Pat (office manager) was always patient and helpful. Brian Becker was as helpful as he could be in coordinating repairs with the property manager. Finally, on the day they scheduled to do the work they arrived on time, explained what they were going to do, and then did it.

Due to the high season, all of the companies I contacted through Angie's List were stating that it would take up to two weeks or more before they would service new customers. Althought DuctMate had the same response, they were able to schedule a visit within about a week (Pat was very helpful in getting this scheduled, and making sure that the unit was turned off for a few days to make sure that the unit wasn't freezing, as I had seen water starting to condense in the basement).The work was done quickly, professionally and in a very friendly manner. I would use the service again.

Please see above, but to amplify - I chose them from your list. The owner, Joe Tasca., came out on the agreed date and completely educated us on what's available in central air conditioning. We are members of "Consumer Reports.org" and had researched the best central a/c units available for residential, what they were capable of, the benefits, rebates for energy efficiency,etc. Joe went through our house room by room, and crawled up in the attic. He took us through what they would be doing - duct work, ventilation, condensor installation and placement. He explained what the Rheem 16 was capable of doing besides cooling the air,and removing humidity and how the energy efficient fan worked. The unit is absolutely silent in the house. It has a digital control that can be set to change/regulate the temperature on a daily basis, at different times of the day, whatever you choose. They did then installation when they said they would, and finished on time. They set a fair payment schedule. One third when contract was signed, one third when work started, and one third upon completion (minus 10% due when city inspector comes out and inspects unit/installation). The work team was friendly and they worked hard. Obviously the house has no a/c, so it's hot as well as hard work, especially crawling around in an old dusty attic. The owner, Joe Tasca, personally supervised the job from start to finish and was in the house every day. We are exceptionaly satisfied given the last two days have been 80+ degrees here in Wayne, NJ. The unit is amazing, and it is truly silent. There are no blowing cold spots or areas where the cooling is insufficient. Just cant say enough how pleased we are and feel Duct Mate Incorporated qualifies for your "Wall of Happiness".The work was done at our home in Wayne,NJ.

Everything went very nicely. I interviewed four companies before choosing duct mate. Joe Tasca, the owner, is old school.He is pleasant and conscientious. Joe takes pride in is work and really wants to have happy and satisfied customers.He checked the job very carefully after it was done. So far, I am a happy and satisfied customer.

I called them around 8:15am and was told that they'd have to get back to me on when someone could come out. A short while later I got a call telling me that someone could be out at my place at 2pm, but would call before they arrived. Around 2:45pm I got a call from the technician (Joseph) saying he'd be there around 3:20pm. He arrived when he said he would and very rapidly identified the problem as a short. It took him about a half hour to trace the short and get the system fixed. He came across as quite competent and professional. I'm pretty happy with the transaction, would not hesitate to recommend them, and will very likely be using them in the future.

Estimate was on time and very informative. I called Brian at office to negotiate price, he called back in 1 day with new price and we made a deal. Joe (the owner) was on site for the entire job. Joe, Brian and all the workers were very knowledgeable, neat, efficient and very pleasant.

I am very pleased. He was prompt and did the work. He was professional and nice. The parts were replaced and the heat is back on.

They are still coming out because the boiler is a long term project. They did a very good job and were professional. There have been some problems with clanging but they have always encouraged me to let them know what the problems are and I have done that. We are about done with this project now. I happily recommend them to others since this is a big project. Their price was a little higher than some others but it was not the highest that we got. I will use them again in the future.

Super. I won't even consider calling anyone else for heating or A/C problems. In fact, I have some A/C issues that I will call them about in the spring.

Joe Tasca came and was truly a professional. Explained everything -- did a full diagnostic of the unit ... made a minor repair ... and offered suggestions for improving unit's performance. If all professionals could be like Joe!!!!

The air conditioning stopped, but they were able to get it working. It's worked since they came out, so I cannot complain. They are nice people and very professional. They gave me a price to modify the air conditioning system, but I'm not going to have it done until the spring.

I found Duct Mate through Angie's List, and since they're highly rated, I took a chance. I phoned the office and spoke to Pat for about 5 minutes. It's the first time ever where someone has talked me out of purchasing services I didn't need. I'm too used to having to negotiate downward instead. She was very pleasant and congratulated me on my purchase. I originally wanted the heating and cooling checked (which was more money), but she said I could hold off on checking the AC until spring. She then went on to give me some much-needed advice about vacuuming the ducts lightly and changing the filters often. When I asked whether I should pay to have the ducts professionally vacuumed, she talked me out of that as well, given the newness of the building. I never felt rushed on the phone, which is also a first for me. Today, Dan arrived promptly and ready to go. He too was very pleasant and courteous. He took his time, was very thorough, and talked me through everything so I could follow along. He answered all of my questions thoughtfully (of which I had many). He suggested that I check the furnace regularly, and gave me advice on how to avoid a condensation issue that had happened in the past. Overall. I don't see how it could have been a better experience. I couldn't be happier with these folks, and they'll be my first call going forward.

Duct Mate arrived on time to give me the estimate and was very thorough. I asked for separate estimates for just the duct work, a new furnace, and new a/c coil and condenser. They provided all 3 options to me in their proposal and the price was very reasonable compared to other offfers I had plus they gave a discount if you paid by check or cash. In addition, I had coupon from Anglie's List that also helped.When they came to do the work, they were clean and neat. After installing the duct with baffle, Joe explained and showed me how to work it. They also came back within a few days after I called because the a/c coil that they were supposed to re-seal after doing the duct work was leaking cool air. They re-sealed it and it is better. I would definitely use Duct Mate again for any A/C and Heating problems. They're one of the few companies that really knows how to work with duct systems.

The whole process from getting a quote to having them perform the maintenance to having them do the install, went flawless. Each person I dealt with from the owner, salesperson and technicians were courteous, knew what they were talking about and punctual. They even went way above and beyond what they quoted in numerous cases during the day they were there. I HIGHLY recommend using Duct Mate for anything you have AC or heat related.

It went very well. The workers were punctual and professional. They explained everything that they did, and worked to install an air conditioner return in a place that was efficient yet not in a space where it would be too noisy.

. He actually made very good suggestions. He moved the position of where the furnace and water heater was in our basement. He moved it to under the stairs so it is kind of out of the way. He had very good suggestions which I availed of. He was great. I will use this company in the future.
