I want to start off by saying chris was reassuring experienced well knowledged on the problem I was having in my home . Hw stated the problem explained the process to fix it and started right away . I would gladly recommend him to everyone that had pest control construction or even garbage or any kind of removal needed . He was worth the money I spent to fix my issue

We contacted Angi Thursday 7/20, and Chris from Creative Home contacted us immediately. He came out that evening to inspect the house and gave us a description of his services. My 88 year old mother's house had a rat infestation. At that point they were running around her whole house, day and night. He promised he would be able to eliminate the rats, clean and sterilize the premises with special Hepa equipment and block up all the places the rats are entering with concrete so they wouldn't be able to chew their way back in. He promised all of that with an 18 month guarantee. He assured us he can handle it as he is both exterminator and licensed contractor with 30 years of experience. He told us the initial clean up and concrete work would take 4 or 5 days. His agreement said start day 7/23 and end 7/26...4 days. His cost was high, but being desperate, scared and very old and worn out by the problem, my mom agreed to his price of $2550. (He gave her a 300 senior discount from 2850). On that Friday, we were convinced he was going to do a thorough job and eliminate the problem. He showed up at mom's house early Friday morning with his agreement and asked for $2000 up front to order all the materials for the job. He told her if he had everything early enough he would come back and start that day. He did not come back. He sent me a text that day that he ordered the material and everything's going to be fine. Monday morning he texted me to tell me he was going to be there at 10 to start the job and to leave room in the driveway for him to drop off his materials. After my mom told him she had a rat in her kitchen the night before, he told her he had to leave to get different materials for that. We told Chris we would be at doctor's appointment at noon, and asked if he could do the outside work then. He said yes, he would be dropping materials, cleaning the crawl space, and baiting the boxes around the house. We saw Chris come back around noon, then leave again, on the ring doorbell. He texted me that he had to run to Home Depot for a piece of wood for behind the stove. When I asked when he was coming back he said an hour and 15 minutes because he had to go to a supply house for special traps. All of this back and forth and NO material started to sound weird to me. I sat and waited for him to come back. He came back at about 3:30, with no material. What he did to was get a dirty old shop vac out of his truck and vacuum behind her stove and put down a few traps. Maybe 15 minutes worth of work. No material was ever dropped off. Chris told mom he would be back 9 AM Tuesday morning to start the concrete work. Chris showed up at noon, with some other guy, dropped him off and left him to fill cracks around the house with concrete and rake out under the crawl space. They laid down some landscaping tarp. That was it. I hired Chris, a licensed contractor to do the work. And I highly doubt those little cracks he filled were where the rats were entering from. Chris left that guy sitting on my moms back porch in the rain from 3 - 4:30. When he got there, he put concreate in a space behind her stove and a piece of mesh in front of a radiator because my mom said she thought she saw a rat going there. Then he took his $550 and left. He never did anything under the sink where my mom caught 2 rats prior so I asked him to come back and fix under there. When he did on Wednesday, he said the handy man already put wood there and he left again. On Thursday morning she found evidence of rats in her living room again by her plants. We asked him to come put more traps down. He came, took a trap out of the kitchen and put it in her living room. He just shuffled what he had there, not added a new one. Sure enough though on Friday morning there was a rat in that trap in the living room where my mom asked him to leave the trap. He did come early Friday to remove the rat. Then he took a trap from the basement and put it in her living room. So, now she is down 2 traps! AND she is using her own popcorn as bait. He promised us some special bait that they can't resist, because her exterminator wasn't using the right kind. And now she is using her own popcorn. I asked Chris several times to give me a cost break down of all his "material cost" because I do not see where he did $2550 worth of purchasing material and labor. I am a financial analyst, and it doesn't make sense to me. He didn't show up with anything, and used materials that maybe add up to $100. The time he himself spent doing work was maybe an hour, including driving times. He hired some other kid to do all his cement work. I'm trying to come up with how he is able to take $2550 for this job. It seems exorbitant. He says you can't put a price on it, he only gives a bundle price and that he will guarantee it for 18 months. There has to be something that bundle price is based on. I do not want his guarantee for 18 months any more. And I do not want his services going forward. I told him yesterday, 8/1/23, that my mom has rats running through her house still and asked for more traps and his bait, not her popcorn and he told me its a process and be patient. I don't want that kind of service. I am requesting a refund of $2000. I think for what he did do $550 is very generous payment. I want a refund for the payments we gave him for his future service over the next 18 months so we can find someone more professional and reliable.

Chris contacted me immediately once I selected his services from the list of pros Angie provided and continues to be responsive and reachable by phone/text during the groundhog capture & relocation process. It was important to us that this process was done humanely and Chris only uses ‘Havaaheart’ cages baited with fresh produce to draw the animals out of their home, using no chemicals, so if that’s important to you, then Chris is your guy!

Chris was incredibly responsive and came out the same day to give me a free inspection and quote. He thoroughly explained the whole process step by step and patiently answered all my questions. He and his team came back within 48 hours to remove the babies and mom from the nest, clean everything out and close all holes. I would definitely hire him again for a project like this!

The company spent 3 hrs doing the work. I wasn't home, but my house-sitter called as they were working and says they are very detailed in explaining their process. The price was was what was discussed...no surprise changes. During 1st contact...I like this company because he talked/explained...like I was a 6yr old [yeah got it from the movie]. He spoke with no fuff/technical lingo...just straight truth. Out of 3 I spoke with.

Chris was excellent and a man of his word. I had an issue with a squirrel in my attic. He came out and closed two small holes. He promised if that didn't work to call him at anytime and he would come back. Needless to say the squirrel got back in through a house fan. I called him and he was willing to come at that very moment. I told him the morning would be fine. He came out at the scheduled time and took care the issue. I haven't had an issue since. Chris was very professional, informative and his price was reasonable. I would ABSOLUTELY use this company again!!!
