Aaron was very responsive on all our inquiries, also considerate of our interior (thought in advance about the fact that a ladder could possibly damage our walls and therefore, covered the ends with the protection material). He performed all work promptly and professionally.

He was very thorough and competent in doing this work and provided quality work at a fair price. He first powerwashed the area, then explained what he would do with each crack and explained what materials he would use and why. He was very careful, making sure concrete bits would not go into the pool by building a make-shift shield from scrap wood and a cloth tarp. He cleaned up his area after each day of work and feathered each crack smoothly, vacuuming up the space when complete. He was prompt in coming at the time he said for each day. I cannot say enough good about Aaron's work. I am glad I hired him. Additionally, he casually, without asking, offered his professional advice about other areas of concern around the pool, deck and elsewhere to tell me what I needed to do to maintain the spaces. While talking about the job at hand, he noticed a nail that had not connected with a board on the deck, casually got a screw from his truck and repaired it. That simple act of care was the kind of person I hired. I am looking forward to hiring him for other handimen's work in the future, as I feel confident he will do an exceptional job at a fair price.

Redirected incoming water from a crack in the foundation to a waffle panel. Jack hammered about 12 inches wide of the concrete floor where floor meets wall down to the footing into the french drain. Extended the waffle panel to the base of the footing allowing any water to now flow into the french drain. Re installed concrete in the area of the floor that was Jack hammered. Job took several hours. Aaron, the company's principal gave me a quote over the phone and charged me the exact amount upon completion of the job. Honesty, Integrity coupled with fair pricing makes A Graf & Son one a very few companies that i would recommend to anyone in need of basement waterproofing.

In January of this year, Aaron & his crew installed a French Drain & Sump Pump in our basement. On Monday, June 1, I noticed water in the basement & called Aaron to discuss. (It had rained very heavily the night before & early in the morning.) We were able to meet at my house @3:00PM. As it turned out, the issue was an opening in one of the basement windows & had nothing to do with the work Aaron had performed. Even so, he took the time to show me how to fix the issue.

I cannot say enough about Aaron. He and his assistant arrived promptly to start the job. It ended up being a difficult job with unexpected obstacles that Aaron corrected along the way. He gave 110% to everything he did and went above and beyond what was required of him. Both he and his assistant were extremely polite and professional. I would definitely recommend him for any type of remodeling and will be using him again for future projects. It is refreshing to find a contractor that actually cares about his client and doing the job right.

From the first contact, Aaron was extremely professional and responsive. When he came to provide an estimate, he discussed the process he would use for the entire job, including installing some support around the edge of the hole to ensure a better fit for the new piece of drywall. He was flexible about the schedule, and was willing to work within the time we could be available. The work was completed on schedule and the quality was terrific. Our painter even commented on how well it was done -- he didn't even need to sand, but was able to just put primer on the repaired area. Aaron took a lot of care with the items that were in the room, ensuring that no dust from the sanding was left when his work was completed. The work was very well done at a very fair price. While I hope we never have a leak that requires such an extensive repair again, I know who we'll be calling for any drywall work we need done.

We called Aaron in the morning and he came over that evening when I returned home from work. He quickly analyzed the situation and made a temporary repair to stop the leak until he could return the next day. Upon returning he fixed the vent pipe and took out the potion of the damaged ceiling, replaced it and spackled. He then returned 3 more times to continue spackling and then paint the area. You would never know we had water damage in the bathroom. He also repaired a leak in the basement, did some caulking and resized an interior door to close properly. Aaron is a professional who takes pride in his work, is always on time, does beautiful finishing work and is reasonable. I will continue to use him and recommend him highly for any work that needs to be completed in or outside the home.

Aaron is great to work with! He provided a lot of advice for simple things around our house that could be fixed, and did a full walk through in our basement to assess the current situation. He was forthright with the facts that certain areas would not required to be fixed short term, and other areas that should be prioritized. I appreciated his direct approach and willingness to answer all of our questions and concerns regarding waterproofing. The services rendered in our master bathroom were completed on time, with good quality, and a reasonable price. He cleaned up after the job was complete, and was very professional during the process. We have since used Aaron to complete some additional work in our bathrooms including the toilets and showers. He was nice enough to bring over a large ladder for us to use to fix some of our deck lighting that was out of my reach. Very well! A Graf and Son LLC was very professional. Before moving forward we received an estimate and as well as honest advise as to how the issue could be resolved. Aaron provided an estimate for the work which seemed very reasonable and fair. Within a day or two my husband and I agreed to move forward and within a few days we had the repair scheduled. Since then we have had several large soaking rains and everything is functioning properly and we no longer have an issue with the window filling up with water. Would definitely recumbent their services.

Arron was informative and professional, as were his 4 workers. Secondary project (sink installation) that turned out to be more difficult than expected was resolved for nearly the same cost. The entire job took 8 hours. I would use them again.

I can't say enough about this man! He is a lucky find, an absolute gem! He is honest, professional, has a wide range of talents, and is a pleasure to know. He respectfully points out things he thinks you need to know, but tries to save you money by taking the most cost effective approach to solving what needs fixing including turning down and talking you out of work you thought you needed if he thinks it is in your best interests. Aaron power washed the siding on 3 sides of the house, the front sidewalk, and some wood trim that will be painted. He uses a power wash technique that cleans the underside of the lip of each siding piece, which most companies neglect to do. The result is the entire outside surface of the siding panels were cleaned and this really looks much better than any previous cleaning I have had done. On some sides of the house that do not get sun there was a lot of mold and algae and now it looks like I have new siding. Parts of the sidewalk were almost black but now are again white and fresh.Aaron also corrected something the original builder had omitted. Water used to be released from a downspout onto the driveway and that caused ice to accumulate. I had put a temporary pipe there to carry the water away from the driveway and across a sidewalk but that was also a hazard and not very nice to look at. He and his assistant dug a trench under the sidewalk and installed a pipe that now is connected securely to the downspout. The water will now run off across the lawn and eliminate the icy sidewalk and driveway situation. This was not an easy job - the builder had thrown rocky rubble under the sidewalk making it very difficult to dig through, but they kept at it until it was done. Now the sidewalk is not only clean but there are no ugly plastic pipes. The house looks really nice from the street.Everything was cleaned up when they were done.

Water was collecting in a crawl space below my house and during heavy storms it was probably going to leak into the basement. The humidity from all that water was also creating a stinky basement. I contacted Aaron and he came out the same day I called to assess the situation. He agreed that a French drain was the best solution, and provided an estimate that was reasonable and on Sept 15 he and his team arrived promptly. They went right to work for the next 7 hours or so and it was clear from their talk among themselves that this was a team who worked together often and got along very well. Digging this drain required removal of a concrete layer and lots of dirt but they took a lot of care to avoid tracking it all through the house, hauling the debris out through a basement window with buckets. They seemed to understand this was not just a job but it was someone's home. At the end of the day everything was cleaned up so it was hard to tell that all these people had been there and hauled away a trailer's load of debris. They were cheerful and friendly and seemed very proud of their work. I am glad I had the installation done and even happier that I chose Aaron and his team to do it. Now I won't have to worry about rain and snow in the basement.

Very well. He gave me written proposal, we made a date for him to do the work. He called on the date to reschedule. He showed up on the rescheduled and did the work proposed in a professional manner.

After investigating the water in the basement, Aaron was not convinced that it came from rainwater flowing into the basement. He discovered the leak was coming from a relief pipe on the air conditioner. I was able to get my AC maintenance company to fix that leak right away. Aaron did also discover that rainwater was leaking into a crawl space although this was not yet coming into the basement living space. He recommended installation of a French drain and gave me an estimate for the complete job. I really appreciate his good detective work finding he current leak from the AC and I will probably ask him to install the French drain to avoid future leaks into the basement from the crawl space. Aaron very generously contacted a carpenter he knows on my behalf to provide an estimate on a wood framing for a large half-round window. I am grateful for his prompt response to my call, coming out the same day. He seems to have a lot of experience and was very helpful in explaining what he felt was going on.

What a great experience! My wife had previously hired someone to perform repair work in our townhouse with an unfavorable outcome. I decided to try Angie's List and found A Graf & Son. I contacted him and he immediately replied then continued to return my messages promptly. He stopped by for an estimate where he explained the process and provided a very reasonable price. He arrived on time and completed the project in 2 days as he had estimated. The room looks incredible. The room was previously covered with wallpaper and you would never even know. I highly recommend this business for your home repair needs.

Everything was done very well. The test will be when the next big rain comes, but I am sure it will be good. With the drilling of concrete and so forth, there was quite a mess while the work was being done, but Aaron and his crew cleaned up everything extremely well. I was very pleased with the people and the way they worked.

The service went well. The guy was timely. He responded and came to my home right away. He was very honest and he gave me good advice. He did not charge anything when he came out to look at the place. I offered him cash for coming to look at the place but he declined. He gave me simple things that I can do myself. He said that he could it himself but it will cost a lot so he just gave me pointers on things that I can do.
