Honestly, I have had Aaron back so often the jobs all converge in my memory. He does great work. He is always trying to save you money which usually means he is giving you assignments that you get to do so you don't have to pay him to do it. His main business is basements but I got lucky when I called him for a Handyman. I referred him to my daughter for her basement issues and now my son in law refers to Aaron as his Handyman. Aaron's a good man.

We were very pleased with the work provided to us by A Graf and Son, LLC. We were very impressed with Aaron's knowledge and proposed solution to our severe water problem when he made his initial visit to our home. He explained everything in terms that we could understand, fully described what the job involved and answered our numerous questions. He took time to go over the details of job's contract. He and his team arrived promptly on the scheduled date and worked with no disruption to our household. They had sealed off the area and were particularly careful to protect our pets. Aaron kept us informed of the work progress via videos, so we were not exposed to any dust or excess noise while the work continued. We were very impressed with his team, who were very respectful, hard-working and thorough. After the job was completed I inspected the area to find that they had carefully cleaned the entire job site. The cementing and other aspects of the work were done in a very neat fashion, leaving a dust-free and good appearance. The day after the job was completed was the first day of our two-day, 4-plus inches of rain. We were so relieved and happy to see that the basement has remained totally dry! We feel Aaron's price was fair and we appreciate the professionalism of this company. Thanks to Aaron and his team for an outstanding job!

He thoroughly inspected the attic for mold. Walked thru other rooms in house inspecting for mold after roof leaks. Good news to us he could not detect signs of mold (which Deegan Roofing told us we had). He even walked thru basement with me pointing out 2 things that we should keep a watch on, nothing urgent. Very honest and nice guy. Didn't charge us for his time. Thanks again!

The Basement window required Mr Graf to cut through concrete/block where a previous window had been closed in order to install the new window. He worked quickly and cleaned up the area as he went, taking great care to avoid dust entering our home.\ The Basement door had to be custom cut for size and for both handle and deadbolt. As the home is from the late 1700's he also had to custom alter the framing it is hinged to. Again, he cleaned up as he went and even made sure to apply proper weather stripping to ensure an airtight seal. The Dryer vent required again going through a previous filled in with concrete window area. As well as exiting out the exterior wall and he was good enough to save us money by reusing all viable venting we already had-HE EVEN CLEANED IT! His attention to detail and "The little things" add such value to his work. The partial Barn Paint once again found him going over and above by working on other areas missed by the previous painter. He used multiple coats to ensure proper coverage to the older unpainted area. Cleaned up his work area and closed the barn back up for us. The Dormer Paint again was an amazing job, attention to detail paid, area spotless at jobs end. While on the roof he found an exposed area on our siding where the electrician removed wires and an area under our eaves that also was open to the elements. He promptly caulked those closed for us to avoid any future moisture related issues.

Each job was finished in a timely fashion with attention to details. The room Aaron drywalled and painted looks fabulous and new; the tile work is perfect, and he left the bathroom in good shape. His cabinet work repaired the problem with an antique. Aaron also repaired a burst pipe in my basement after the cold snap. His attention to detail was impressive, and his job survived another patch of sub freezing weather.

I would highly recommend them. They came exactly when they said, did a good job cleaning up when finished. The next day Aaron returned to check the job even though he had worked with his men, removed pieces of wood that had to stay until the cement settled. I would recommend this company.

We liked Aaron from the start, but felt we needed to interview another handyman too. I wish we had just gone with our gut and started right away as the delay and perhaps my confusion cost us another couple of weeks on getting started. My advice, and this shouldn't reflect on Aaron as much as my chance at the podium, make sure to communicate very clearly! I thought I had given the go ahead more than once, when I was probably still sending my mixed signals: thinking out loud, on-the-other-hand, or we could try this, maybe I could do that. Any and all of those little thoughts slipping out of my head and making it out of my mouth can totally mess up the plan you have in your head that you have agreed to have the contractor take the next step. Well, Aaron and I cleared up my mis-communications and work began. I had been installing the bathroom fan and in the process I had been making the ceiling droop. Aaron fixed the drooping ceiling, installed the fan, rewired it so that the light would work and did the most spectacular spackling job I have seen. It doesn't look like it needs painting, it's just perfect. Aaron also did similar work filling the hole in a wall that once held an air conditioner, sheet rock & spackle on one side, cedar shakes on the other. In the middle of the job I convinced him to add another interior door to the scope previously agreed upon, of course I have been flexible too. The door is great. The final project Aaron took on was installation of a wood slab door. This was in no way a vanilla install. Four or five inches had to be cut off the bottom, and then the hinges located & set, and door knob and dead bolt holes bored. The man gets it done and gets it done right! Aaron has agreed to return to work on additional jobs that we have discussed: repairs to eaves, gutter & spout, and remove & replace concrete step.

Overall it went great. They arrived on time. They were very efficient and informative. Any questions I had they were able to answer without hesitation. They finished the job sooner then estimated and they left the area very clean. I plan to use them in the near future for other odd jobs.

I phoned Mr. Graf looking for a quote on an install of a new banister and handrail, I had explained to him my elderly father was coming to live with me and the handrail and banister I had was not sturdy enough to assist him walking up and down the stairs. Mr. Graf was extremely accommodating and was able to come to my home that evening to give us a quote. After reviewing and excepting his fair quote Mr. Graf was able to start work in two days. He came to my home on time, and went right to work, when he was finished he cleaned up after himself. The banister looks beautiful and most importantly it is sturdy and secure and my father feels confident when he needs to use the stairs. I will plan on using Mr. Graf on future projects in my home.

Aaron is great!! On my initial phone call, he gave me his ear and his input - going through several possible solutions for my issue. He really knows his stuff. He was all about solving my issue and not selling me products or taking me down an unnecessary and expensive route. He made himself available to come out and see my crawl space problem quickly. He was on time and was calm and reassuring that there was a solution to the dampness. Aaron installed a dehumidifier/fan unit and inspected our French drains to ensure they were in working condition. Other professionals I had called prior either outright refused to work in my crawl space or inflated the price. Aaron did not shy away from the job. He diagnosed the problem, offered a reasonable solution and got the job done. He is a lifesaver! I cannot recommend him enough. A++

Aaron power washed the entire house. He scheduled the job quickly and did an excellent job at a fair price. I will definitely use Aaron again.

This company is responsive, reliable and reasonable. Aaron tells it like it is, sticks to his word and is willing to do a little extra for customer satisfaction. This was hard, messy work but Aaron's crew did a fine job and cleaned up after themselves. The job was completed in one day as promised. The work is guaranteed. Looking forward to the next heavy rain and no ground water finding its way into the basement. Aaron provides additional handyman services and I will definitely be calling upon him again.

I gave a review of this company in February after their initial visit. I decided to go with them. The work was scheduled for May 13. The three workers arrived on time and began work immediately. They made sure the work area was shielded from the rest of the basement to minimize mess. They worked very quickly and effectively. They even noticed a few things along the way that were unplanned fixes, that they made right at no additional cost. An additional sump pump was not in the original plans, however, it was suggested to install it when they were on site, at a significant discount. Aaron and his team did not mind that I was poking around to see how things were done, and they also made sure I was aware of any potential issues. Aaron made sure I was available when the water main was turned back on in case there were any issues. When the job was completed the work area was thoroughly cleaned. I waited until a heavy rain to update this review. After the rain I am happy to say that the basement is dry. My problem area was water coming in to the basement from a leaky Bilco door. That issue is now gone as promised. The thing I like most about this company is they do not try to sell you a job bigger than you need. They saw what I needed done to fix the problem, and did just that. The addition of the sump pump was quite reasonable and I am sure will only help. I have already told some coworkers about A Graf and Son and am confident they will be pleased.

Mr. Graf is a great deal more than a handyman. His knowledge of home repair is extensive and his practical approach to problem solving is refreshing. This is the second time we have used his services and are contracting with him to remodel two bathrooms. He arrives on time, performs the agreed work and cleans up. His price is reasonable and his workmanship excellent. He advises if an unforeseen problem arises (as is the case in most remodel work) and discusses options. I highly recommend his services. I do not choose to share costs. .

I was very satisfied with the responsiveness, professionalism, promptness, price and service of this company and would encourage anyone to use them. I'm hoping to be able to do a sump pump in future as well as will certainly use them when I do. A+++!
