Although avid believers of “do-it-yourself” it was time for the experts to plan and install our outside backyard patio and front walkway. This review may be a little long winded, but we felt it was necessary to cover all the key particulars of our outdoor project to provide potential customers of Trevor Landscaping (TL) a concise perspective of all the fine services afforded by the organization. Prior to TL we surveyed three potential contractors for the project. Besides price, quality materials, experience, timing and clever design, an important aspect for both of us was contractor attitude. Attitude by Trevor and his staff played an important role in our final decision. Questions before the project started and those during the project were seriously acknowledged and appropriately responded to with constant positive feedback. This included Trevor, his office staff and in particular the incredible construction workers. Positive attitude and feedback were always conveyed. The layout of our property and our design objectives provided some extremely creative challenges. Extreme measures were taken by the construction staff to work within our confined construction areas assuring unnecessary damage to surrounding plants, trees, housing, driveway, water line and roof drainage. The staff worked around our pets’ accessibility to share the outside space while construction was underway. The design of the extended patio layout, pet area and walkway were artistically and cleverly incorporated into the surrounding landscape. Because of our hilly terrain, mobility and space for construction equipment was severely limited, but the staff made every effort to be respectful of areas that were not part of the central design. Their engineering skills for patio design were amazing. The accuracy of the interplay between the various sections of the design fit-in as perfect parts of a puzzle. Attention to detail was highly maintained. Cleanup and any required restoration of the property were managed perfectly. We have been using the area for several months now through the Fall and Winter (2017-18) and have not experienced any post construction concerns. This included three different rain water management issues that we had to address in the layout design. If any issue did arise during the construction process there was total communications between staff and management with always a definitive response. Getting back to our original comment about attitude, we would have to repeat once again how we were impressed with the construction staff and office staff throughout the entire construction period. The results of the final project is a proud comment of their work ethic, communications and skills. Highly recommend! Trevor and his crew were courteous at all times, on time, on schedule and worked hard. We had them excavate the backyard and install a new brick/stone patio as well as landscape all around it. Exceptional work and I am already planning another job in the front of the house.

Extremely professional and a pleasure to work with.

Trevor didn't bury or grade the drain piping properly for the pop-up drains he recommended and installed on my property. Pipe was exposed at all 4 corners of the house and the drains weren't draining. I had to have a more experienced landscaper come to fix Trevor's poor work and he told me pop-up drains were totally unnecessary in the first place so he ripped them out and installed properly sized and graded piping to daylight and never had a problem since and for half the price of Trevor. Unfortunately, not recommended.

First time using Home Advisor and Trevor's Landscaping and I was extremely pleased. Trevor contacted me quickly and was out the next day to provide an estimate. Work started on time and Trevor and his team were professional and courteous. They took great pride in their work and wanted to ensure that the customer was satisfied. I would not hesitate to use them again, and would highly recommend Trevor's Landscaping.

Workers were very friendly and courteous and hardworking. They were willing to work with me regarding the layout and answered my questions.

For new flower beds and probably lawn service this company is fine. But for other large landscape projects and hardscapes, I would go with someone with much more experience.I was told the work would be done in 6 weeks time, but it was done in 12 weeks -- rain was the excuse. But I had 5 other contractors doing various other jobs in and outside my home that finished in time allotted without being interrupted by rain. This company left debris left on my neighbors yard and behind my garage that I did not find until they left. There were shrubs not transplanted and anchored correctly and a portion of the hardscape wall installed is crooked. I was very annoyed at getting call after call that they were showing up and never did. Phone calls do not equal customer service. The company needed to come back twice to correct mistakes. The topsoil and grass seeding was done very poorly. I have 8' square areas with hardly no seed and I removed large rocks as big as my fist from the top soil. They did not used screened soil as required. In addition, I spoke with other people in town and they said this company was a 50/50 chance to do a good job. I am not happy that the contractor was given a 5 star rating on Home Advisor and they do subpar work. Last time I used Home Advisor as a primary source for contractors.

The project was greate, more than I expected. Professionals, Communicators and Concerned!! Project was conducted with knowledge with continuous step by step information on the work and concerned with protection of property items, In conclusion a wonderful contractor to hire !!

Trevor and his team have exceed our expectations so far, we worked with him to install privacy trees on our property and we are now using him for the installation of a paver patio. Excellent communication and very competitive pricing! Would highly recommend!

Trevor's Landscaping did an excellent job on our new walkway. They were professional and worked very quickly. The end result was fantastic!
