+ -1 moreI had another company come to look at my furnace and they told me that I needed a very expensive repair. My gut told me to get a 2nd opinion and, at the recommendation of friends, I called Air Professionals (EXTREMELY HELPFUL OFFICE STAFF). Drew, my technician, was very courteous AND was extremely knowledgeable. He actually pulled the blower out, got into the bottom of the machine and thoroughly inspected. It seems the funny noise I was hearing was coming from a piece of paper and plastic that was inside the blower!!! The system is running well and is very quiet. Drew felt that, even with the expensive repair, I may have still had the noise problem. I will NEVER use another company ever again for AC and Furnace issues! Thank you Air Professionals!

+ -1 moreTechnician, Doug Burk, installed a ''smart'' thermostat for me so that I can turn on/off heat and AC when I'm away and checked out the AC. He had told me about these thermostats on an earlier service call, and recommended the Honeywell that I bought. Installation was quick and Mr. Burk took a lot of time to explain how the thermostat works and how to control it from my laptop and/or smartphone. I am very grateful for the time he spent helping me learn the ins and outs of the thermostat, and how to download app, etc. Excellent service, as always. I especially want to commend him, and the girls who answer the phone and do the scheduling. They are always friendly and very, very helpful.

+ -1 moreThe did a phenomenal job. It’s the one that I use all the time. I’ve got to get them in to do another air conditioning unit. I have used them multiple times, they are an unbelievable organization. It cost too much. I actually bid it against several other people. I plan on using them again this Spring.

Really appreciate the effort! They came when the company that installed the system and serviced it for the last ten years said it was a 2 day wait. + -1 moreI have used them in the spring and fall to service our combination unit for the past two years. I called them just prior to the Memorial Day holiday with a problem. They came out and said they thought the problem was with a part that turned on the condenser, but then they said it was the condenser itself. They told me they could not repair this make of heating/air conditioning system. I wondered how they could service the unit for two years but not repair it. The service man said he would check with his home office to see if they repaired this kind of unit and that he would call me back. I never heard from him so I called them back and was told they could not repair my unit. I will never use them again. The service man was on time the first time he came out and he was professional.

It was the only company that recognized and understood the implications of installing two separate HVAC units within a configuration of shared return ducts. Upon learning of this critical nuance, we discussed it with the authorized HVAC supplier. The supplier confirmed that Air Professionals' observations and suggested installation approach were spot on. Every aspect of our experience with Air Professionals has been a delight -- from our initial discussions with Sean Ruffing in Sales, to confirming the suggested installation approach with the company's founder/owner, to dealing with the installation team led by Josh Petrocelli, to working with Erin on the office staff, to receiving thorough maintenance check-ups by Doug Burk. We are very happy we chose Air Professionals.

+ -1 moreFirst and foremost, I want to say that I feel like family with the employees that have dealt with me. All have been friendly, courteous, and efficient. Every concern that I have had over the past few years have been handled expeditiously, appointments -- scheduled and not, have been made around my convenience. The installers arrived early in the day with two teams working simultaneously to replace furnace and air compressor. They accomplished much in an amazingly short time and cleaned up after themselves. All the functions of the new thermostat were thoroughly explained to me. I am completely happy with both the new units and the professionalism plus friendliness and efficiency of all the employees with whom I have come in contact. I highly recommend Air Proffessional for all needs pertaining to heat and air conditioning.
Description of Work: I needed to replace my furnace and central air unit because it was headed toward failure. I have been using Air Professional for a few years to service my units twice a year. They send a letter to me before the furnace/central air unit is due with an opportunity to schedule early for ten percent off. The service men who come always put booties on so they don't mess the floors, they are polite and efficient, and provide exact details of findings after checking out and servicing units. The furnace began double cycling over New Years. I called the on-call service man to tell him what was going on and together we determined that, as long as I had heat, there was no problem with waiting until the next day when the office had regular hours (this saving me an emergency charge). I had many concerns with safety issues but I was assured I was perfectly safe. At 7:30 the next morning, I received a call from their service rep to schedule a call that day. I decided to go ahead and replace both units and asked to have their salesman call. The salesman explained all my options and addressed all my concerns. He never applied any pressure and let me decide on my own which option to choose. They only sell Carrier products so any choice would be the right one. Two days later my new furnace and air compressor were installed. There was even an Angie's List discount.
