Mike is the worst!! He still has not returned my phone calls (multiple calls placed). I had a gift certificate for a 3 hour/person job, plus I agreed to pay for any additional fees for the oven cleaning. 2 girls showed up, were done in less than 2 hours and asked for 140$. They also let me know 'they got the oven as clean as they could' - translation: not clean at all. I can't believe this is a legitimate cleaning service. I would not recommend, EVER!!

This was my first experience with a housecleaning service. After reviewing the company website and speaking with an office representative on the phone to get an estimate, I hired MaidPro for bi-weekly housecleaning. Their web site notes that their teams use a 49-point checklist to ensure that the cleaning is done thoroughly and completely. The first visit went fairly well, with the exception of a broken shower rod. I chalked it up to "accidents happen". The items on my counter-tops and other surfaces were rearranged, but I attributed that to them not being familiar with the house. They did not know how to make a bed, despite the fact that this is an item on the 49-point checklist. The second visit with the same team didn't go as well. While the team was enthusiastic, they were too vigorous with my stainless steel stove top, which was in new condition. The end result were scratches so deep you could not only see, but feel them. I contacted the office about the what had happened. A representative came out with a repair kit (September 2012), which lessened (but did not eliminate) the damage. However, he ran out of one component of the kit and said he would return when it came back in. To date (February 2013) he has not returned. To be fair, I did not pursue it after the the incident that followed (below). The rearrangement of my personal items continued. The third and final visit was with a new team. While the second story of my house was cleaned well, the first story was not. I noted that the bathroom mirror was not cleaned, and they cleaned it before they left. I should have checked more carefully. After they left, I found that the toilet was not cleaned (there was power sprinkled in the bowl, but it was not scrubbed). On top of that, there was a ~12 inch scratch on the wall, which had been freshly painted the week before. I couldn't clean it off, and ended up having to repaint. At this point, I canceled my service with MaidPro. What started out as an attempt to reduce the stress actually ended up having the opposite effect. I was not reimbursed for any of the damage to my home, and was charged full price for all three services.

The first visit went well; 3 people did a good cleaning job. Second visit, one person walked around all day with rag and windex; and cleaned nothing.

Cleaned my whole home, 2 American women did everything. Moved furniture,cleaned glass,baseboards, would have done the laundry if I let them. All in all ..a wonderful experience. I have them on a weekly schedule.

The Freehold office contacted us within a few days of our call to the national #, and fit us into the following week's schedule for the initial 5-hour cleaning, and were given a window of "sometime before 1pm." The cleaner only worked from 12:30 until 3pm. Not home to do a final walk through, we might have prevented what was an absolutely horrible job. Laughable even. We said dust was a main priority, and maybe half the house was dusted. Highlights: dust bunnies in the foyer, goldfish crackers under the coffee table, crumbs under the castered high chair in the kitchen, the glass front door wasn't windexed, a lamp base was dusted but not the table it was on, etc., etc. We immediately complained, and then waited 5 days for the manager, Mike, to call us despite our daily calls. Unapologetically, he agreed to cancel the contract and promised not to charge us, yet we just noticed an $88 charge on our cc, hence this post. Look elsewhere for your housecleaning needs.
