GRECO LANDSCAPING & LAWN SVC

It really pains me to have to write this poor review for Greco. Years ago Richard Greco came to my house - we'd gone to VTHS together - he was a friend of my neighbor's son. Together we discussed having him service my mother's lawn. Service was good until last year. Mother inadvertently shorted Greco by 100. on the bill. It was always our understanding that if there was any trouble with the bill - I would be contacted. Mother called this morning to have them cut the lawn and they said that she had been "black-listed." Not only did they have to write her off as a bad debt (for a meager 100 dollars) but that they would not be offering her any service now or ever. She called me in tears. I called and the woman who answered was very rude. Greco has changed hands. The new owner doesn't care about the Senior Citizens of Sussex County. I asked her to have him call me so we might discuss it since she didn't have my telephone number on file. She kept repeating about the bad debt and how they aren't taking on "any new customers." Many of you might remember me as I ran the "Welcome Mat Ministry" for Vernon Township through my church. I met many wonderful Seniors. I'd advice any Senior in the county to reconsider their lawn service because - if you make an error - even a small one - they will cut you off and "black list" you.

By booking early I was able to take advantage of a 10% discount on Spring mulch application. Meg in the office couldn't have been more pleasant and informative; she kept me apprised as the opportunity for my installation approached, given some rainy days and unusually low temperatures that occurred. At the time my mulch was installed, the crew arrived promptly. Matt, Lukas and Jim worked together like a well-oiled machine, meticulous, exact and precise. They cleaned up any debris and old leaves before installing the new mulch, and were gentle and careful to protect new flower shoots that were just beginning to show. These three young men are a definite asset to the company -- diligently hard workers, courteous and professional. When they were through, they thoroughly cleaned up my walkway, driveway, and even the grass! My gardens look so refreshed and beautiful now; I cannot say enough good things about Greco Landscaping and Lawn. I would definitely use them again and recommend their work highly.
