Called twice, left voicemails each time. Phil does not return phone call - very unprofessional.

Phil turned on both the upstairs and downstairs units. Air was moving but it wasn't cool. Phil figured out that one unit was very low on F22, and the other unit also needed a boost. He put a sealer into the freon, when he recharged the coolant, to seal leaks, and detect where they were for the next time. He mentioned that the condenser and evaporator units were getting old and would probably need to be replaced in the next 5 years. Plainly also looked at the air filters which both needed to be replaced. He said that I could go with the cheap filters, but to spray the one side with PAM, to magnetize them. I decided to go with the matted better filters, which he had 12 for$50, which is included in the total above. He told me that if the sealant fails in the next year, he would refund a portion of that expense and indicated that he could do 1-2 more times without a problem. While at the house, Phil also looked at the registers, as they have vanes, that I thought might be closing by themselves, when the AC comes on sometimes, but this didn't seem to be the case. Phil left no mess, when he left.

I noticed the A/C wasn't cooling the house on a Saturday evening. I had used Phil's (Enviro Tech) services in the recent past for a problem with our boiler/furnace.I called around 9pm and left a message. Within 10 minutes Phil returned my call. This is typical in my dealings with Phil at Enviro Tech. I explained the problem and he said he would come tomorrow, meaning Sunday. He checked the refrigerant levels, system pressures, was in the attic inspecting the unit there and checking the temp. in the ducts. He checked everything and is very thorough. A cleaning of the outdoor coils, adding a little refrigerant was all that was needed. In all, Phil was here about 2.5 hours, on a Sunday. Bill was $203. At the beginning of last winter, 2014, our heating system (gas/hot water baseboard) stopped working. I called Enviro Tech (Phil) around 7 or 8 pm. He immediately returned our call and said he would be out to us asap. Phil was at our house in about 45 minutes. He found a faulty valve and replaced it. It's good to know that when we have a heating or A/C problem, Phil is there to help. I know whenever we call, he will get back to us asap. Both times we hired Phil, I was there with him basically the entire time. He explains to me how everything works and what regular maintenance I can do, etc. He is very polite, professional, honest and the prices are reasonable, especially with our "off hours" calls.
