+ -1 moreThe installation went well, however, no followup and when the system needed to be checked after 4 calls they simply did not call back. I even called the cell phone of one of the sons to no avail. I would strongly use another company that is more reputable.

+ -1 moreBased on my experience this company is not very reliable.
Description of Work: Contacted B&M on the recommendation of a work colleague. I needed some duct repair on my central AC system and also a new wall unit in my sunroom. The initial service call went well, technician was very knowledgeable and arrived promptly on time. Technician diagnosed the source of the problem and promised to come back with the necessary parts. I told them the timing wasn't critical since it was early May. After 2 weeks starting calling the office and left repeated message. No calls returned. Finally got the technician to come back. Existing duct was removed. Left again to get new ducts. Another few weeks went by, no contact. Finally got him to return, it was now determined that a different size duct was needed which he didn't have with him. That's the last I saw of him. It's now mid-August and I have given up on these people. The good news is it didn't cost me anything but my AC problem isn't fixed either.

+ -1 moreIt turned out very well. They are replacing one that had burned up. They recommended a smaller one. They said we didn't need the larger one that we had. That was very good. They were good about taking care of us on the rebates. Other contractors that we talked to about this did not. They came when they said they would. They have come back a couple of times for minor problems. We were very pleased with their work. They weren't cheap but they got us the rebate from the state and a discount from Carrier. The price is before the rebates.

+ -1 moreWe did not receive a response except for the party line that the upstairs temperature could not be made cooler. We are considering small claims court since this unit is not performing and the company refuses to accept any responsibility.
Description of Work: B & M installed a new compressor for the second floor of our central a/c. It never really cooled properly but when the weather got hot it became impossible. The temperature on the second floor was 80 degrees and my husband has severe asthma. We called several times and all they could tell us was this was as cool as it would get given the outside temperature. However our old compressor was able to cool the second floor no matter how hot the weather outside. We got no satisfaction at all. We were told to call another company!

+ -1 moreI got a second opinion from B & M Air Conditioning because the first provider that I contacted told me that I needed to replace the whole system and quoted me $5500 for the work. The people from B & M Air Conditioning came right away, and they found that the only problem with the unit was a capacitor which would cost me just $24.99 a piece.
Description of Work: I had a problem with my air conditioning unit - it wasn’t cooling off.
