very well - good work

I dealt with Jeff Silverman the owner and operator. Jeff was very professional. He kept me informed as to the various stages of the work including days when inclement weather caused a stop in the project. Jeff is not an absentee owner, he was on site throughout the work. He and his crew were punctual and cleaned up after every day of work. We are very happy with our new driveway and walkway. I would definitely use Silver Driveways again.

Driveway sealer looks great, neat clean job. I felt that $200 for a small concrete wall repair was high but the work was done well.

Pros: I must first say a Great job was done- the workers were great and experienced, a clean job too! It took a while to finish but in their defense we had to replace the side walk and rip-up more concrete (go through the process of finding a mason to do it) before they could put down the asphalt. Cons: I told the contractor at least 3 times- I wanted a french drain to be put in because the back puddled water when it rained. 3 Times he said: "I didn't need it"- I persisted BUT to my dismay! I did not or could not argue past his aggressive attitude... He was a salesman who did not or could not do what I asked for (I will never know he's GONE.) Our conversation always ended with him acting as if he knew more than me ( I'm the idiot, I should of said ARE YOU CAPABLE OF SUPPLYING ME A FRENCH DRAIN?) He never even said it could be done- so I assumed I was asking for something that couldn't be made. It wasn't until weeks later, while talking to a mason he told me that he "saw" a asphalt driveway company making a french drain for someone!!! All in All, when the job was done it was Great! -But, I still have water that is a problem in the freezing winter (was this my fault?)-- Fault or not, that's for you to judge- Make sure you know what you want before you settle... and you should be happy.

I've had really good experience with Silver Driveways Inc. Let me give you some context. Last year my driveway was in bad shape and I hired All American Driveways to resurface it. Worked with the owner Jim and he did everything as promised , promptly. No issues. I left him very good feedback. He suggested to seal the driveway the next year and then it should last for long time. This year I called Jim to schedule to seal driveway. He said he would call me in few weeks and didn't. I called again in end of Aug and no response. I called several companies recommended by Angies List and left voice mail for each, including Silver Driveways. I called Boyd paving (Eugene Boyd) company, left message with answering service. The person there carefully wrote down all the info. No one called me back! Left VM for Atlas Paving (Mike Petrushka) - no one called me back either! Jeff from Silver Driveways called me back the same day, said he would stop by and leave me the estimate. He did exactly as he said. He gave me reasonable price and scheduled work the day after I called him back to say that I'd like to go ahead. His crew sealed the driveway next day. Everything was done very professionally and quickly. The other companies didn't even call me back. Not sure how they do business, seems like they pick customer and not customer picks them! Judge yourself.

I could see this was a professional run business from the start. The proposal materials showed the owner cared about his business. I was impressed with the presentation of business materials which included proof of insurance with the contract. Once I accepted the contract, the owner called to confirm the night before the work was scheduled. The workers showed up at the promised time. They were efficient and careful, making sure the area was first blown clean and taking care not to get sealer on cement apron. The sealer material was taken from a commercial drum/tank in tow on their truck. I am very satisfied with the outcome of the service provided.

The service was great! I had contacted several local driveway sealing companies obtain estimates. A couple did not call back, a couple did not show up as promised. Silver left a detailed estimate in my mailbox complete with insurance info and list of services they offer. I called to schedule and they came and did the work on time and fulfilled all expectations. I will use them next time for my driveway maintenance. I have no complaints whatsoever.

There were problems with Jeff and his crew from the start. He cancelled the first appointment for the estimate, then was late for the second appointment. The estimate he gave us was about on par with other contractors and he said that they could do the work in a few days. I sent him a deposit and waited. And waited. And waited.... It was months before the crew showed up to tear up the existing driveway. Then, they left the work unfinished for weeks. I kept calling Jeff to see when they would finish and he got more and more rude each time, saying that they had "bigger jobs" to work on. When they finally came back to the job, my husband came home to find the crew eating lunch on our patio furniture with an open bottle of booze. They were also smoking on our property, something we had specifically asked them NOT to do as I am very allergic. When we complained to Jeff, he made excuses for them and gave US a hard time. Once the job was done, we asked them about power washing the steps, which was part of the estimate. He told us that he never agreed to do that, but we showed it to him in the estimate. He reluctantly agreed and did a really half- assed job. We had to insist that they do it again. The driveway still has streaks on it. We thought they would go away by now, but they have not. We also noticed damage to the siding of the house where they used their heavy machinery. So, the job that was supposed to be done in 3 days was finally done after about half a year. Jeff then had the nerve to harass me not once, but four times for the balance of the payment. Oh, and he jacked up the price to make up for the Angie's List coupon, so don't bother. I chose this company because it had good reviews on this list. I don't know how unless they were posted by Jeff himself. Avoid this company at all costs.

It took a little while to get an appointment but once they did they were very professional, left the place clean and I was very pleased with the service.

It went well. Not perfect but good enough

Jeff was very quick to respond to my calls and emails. He answered all of our questions and did the job on time and correctly also his pricing was very reasonable.

Jeff was meticulous about the details of the job. The existing driveway did not have enough stone underneath it and additional stone had to be obtained. Jeff recommended we wait a couple of weeks to allow rain and time to firm up the stone before the asphalt installation. The asphalt installation was done with great care to make proper edges where it met the grass. Was careful to clean up after.

Silver Driveway came promptly when I requested an estimate for a driveway extension back in November of 2012. I was told upfront that since asphalt work is a seasonal occupation, I would have to wait until the spring and warm weather to start work. They were true to their word and started the job in April since March was an unseasonably cold month. But the job was completed within a few hours and the results were entirely satisfactory. I would give them very high marks for communication, pricing and quality of work and would definitely use them again. I thank them for a very professional and hassle-free transaction.

It's went great. A year later the driveway still looks great and I would definitely use them again for this service or any other service they offer.

When they showed up to give us an estimate they were punctual and the most professional Driveway/Asphalt company we interviewed for the job; we also got the estimate from them quickly. Unfortunately we didn't use them because they were more expensive than other well rated companies, but I would recommend them to others!

They were very prompt. I called them in the morning and they were there the next day. They were very conscientious. Left me an estimate of all of the work that they would do. I would definitely recommend Silver Driveways.

Jeff contacted me via phone within an hour of receiving my email and was at my house the next day to a**** and give me a quote. I found the quote very reasonable, especially if you are one that puts a price tag on your own time. He contacted me about a week later as discussed to set-up a time for the next day (between 10:00 am and 11:00 am) for his men to arrive and arrive they did on time and were completed with the job within 45 minutes. I am very happy with the results especially since my neighbor did his the same weekend and walk passed both you can see the difference. My driveway has no bubbles, cracks or seams like theirs. I would definitely use Silver Driveways Inc in the future as he also does other projects in the yard besides the driveway.
