I have been using Shore Property Maintenance on a steady basis since July 2018, so much so that John Wheeler is almost like a member of my family. Always responsive and great work. He recently switched out two light fixtures, patched and painted the sheetrock, fixed a gate hinge and designed and installed a custom plank ceiling in the porch room. Five star rating!!

I had just purchased a house in Lavallette and I needed some items addressed, such as locks changed, new storm door, screens repaired, new faucets, ceiling fans, etc, and some very complicated trim work around the through the wall A/C. I found the listing for Shore Property Maintenance and decided to give them a call. John Wheeler met me at the house and we went over all the issues. He immediately wrote up an estimate that was more than reasonable and in less than one week, everything was completed. John was prompt and a perfectionist, and did beautiful work. I will be using him again to do some ceiling planking and deck work. Terrific company and a great guy!

Mr. Wheeler was punctual, professional, and his work was meticulous. My car battery happened to have died that day and he brought over a battery charger for me to borrow. I would certainly recommend him and hire him again.

Mr Wheeler was punctual, professional, clean, and timely. The damage to the walls in two bedrooms rooms was extensive. He repaired the walls, prepped them, and painted them and the doors. He swapped out the electrical outlets, cover plates, and registers to give the room a crisp and clean look. Mr Wheeler was sensitive and accommodating to our family's time constraints, finished the quality work in record time, and gave us updates along the way. John was AMAZING! we were really looking for a handyman to establish a relationship with so that we would know that our properties were in good hands; without having to re-find a new handyman for every job. John was an answer to prayer. I tried 4 different handymen and John was the quickest to respond and address the issue without wasting time. When he was done he emailed me an invoice and sent a pic of the work on our rental property. His prices were ridiculously reasonable. There is no doubt that we will use John again.

EXCELLENT !!! Our most recent project was an emergency. My wife smelled something burning in our house and we were in a panic fearing we had an electrical wire burning inside a wall. We called Shore Property Maintenance and the owner responded immediately. After trouble shooting he found a wire was burning in our main electrical panel. He repaired this hazardous condition on the spot and explained in the details of the problem and how he made the repair. He even cut out the wire with the melted and burnt insulation to show us. Pricing is extremely reasonable.

I had two licensed plumbers attempt to repair a leak in my shower drain and both times it still leaked. John, from Shore Property Maintenance, took the time to study the problem and finally repair the leak. He was always on time, cleaned up the mess afterward and was pleasant to deal with. John was professional, respectful, knowledgeable and friendly. His estimates were more than fair and always discusses repairs or any unforeseen problems that arose before he would complete the task at hand. He would offer suggestions to insure the job would be done perfectly with the utmost thought on safety for that particular area and how the work would look when complete. To my delight his suggestions had little or no affect on the cost of labor. I had an immediate sense of trust with John and gave him keys to both homes so he could come and go if we were not around. John always gave me his work schedule and was always prompt. The work he did I could not be any happier with as for he has done a fantastic job.
