Phil was excellent. His inspection was completely thorough and he provided our inspection report, clearly detailed and with photos and descriptions, in under 24 hours. He arrived promptly at the agreed upon time, walked us through every inch of the house, and provided instructions and tips on how to address and correct some of the problems that our new house purchase will and might face in the future. He was candid and helpful, and I would definitely seek out his services on our next home purchase, and recommend him to anyone we know looking to buy in the area!

Phil was great. He showed up on time, was very thorough, and explained everything during the inspection. I would definitely recommend Phil and Real Pro Home Inspection to anyone who is purchasing a home. The quality of the work lives up to the name of the company. He quoted me a price that was better than any of the others that I obtained. The realtor representing the seller of the home that I purchased was not very flexible, but fortunately for me Phil was. He was very thorough and patiently explained things to me and answered my questions. He is a pleasure to deal with.

Phil did an excellent job! He was very knowledgeable and great to work with. He not only did the inspection, but also took time to educate us on the home. Even the home owner and both seller and buyer's realtors learned a lot from him - e.g. their A/C is actually a dual zone system, where is the fireplace fan switch! As you can image, sometimes realtors just try to close the deal ASAP to get their big check. They tried to ask me to use their inspectors, and tried to convince me that some home improvement permits wouldn't be necessary. I am so happy to hire Phil to defend my investment. Phil spoke with confidence and authority. He told the realtors why we must have the permits, and realtors agreed to take actions. My realtor, who has been b******* about me for not using his inspector, had to admit that Phil was really good. He even asked me where I found Phil, and I proudly told him - Angie's list. On time. Thorough. Pictures of problem areas and detailed report. Wish we had used him when we purchased our first home. Easy to get in touch with. Processes and followed up with the report within 24 hrs. On time.

Phil was extremely professional, provided one of the most efficient inspections I have been through, but was very methodical in his approach and didn't miss anything! His report was also very useful, it cut out the usual cover-my-a** fluffy writing that others put in their report and got to the nitty-gritty. We used another top inspector on Angie's List (Peter Lustig) and while he was good as well, his report had alot of fluff in there and he forgot some basics (though he found other things that most inspectors wouldn't even review, like an old landfill nearby). Still, I would prefer Phil over the other inspector we used (who has a higher number of reviews on Angies List) because the basics were very thoroughly covered and he was professional in every other way. The only downside was that he was slightly more expensive than others ($525 vs $490) but not that much more, so it was okay. Recommended!

Buying a townhouse in NJ and found Phil on Angie's list due to the great reviews by others. Phil was very flexible in scheduling and very detailed oriented. Showed up right on time, did the inspection and radon test. Patiently explained potential issue and the cost estimate he provided verbally are very much on target. Report is detailed and timely provided. He will be my first choice for future projects

Phil was responsive right from the first phone call. He was realistic when it came to scheduling, but did his best to accommodate the quick timeline we set out for him. He arrived on time and was professional. He moved quickly through the property, but was thorough and answered all of our questions. He even gave us extra advice and taught us where important things were in the house (this was helpful since we are first time homebuyers). Phil was prompt with submitting the final report which included pictures of everything. We choose Phil because of his responsiveness and cost. Phil arrived on time, was impressively thorough and provided us with excellent information. When problematic areas were discovered, Phil was patient and detailed answering all of our questions. His report is accompanied by photos and clear recommendations. The realtors involved with our home purchase had an issue related to the retrieval of the radon test canister. They told us protocol was not followed because they were not notified prior to the canister being removed from the house. They were unhappy about it and expressed this to us, but this was not something we directed or had anything to do with. While we were disappointed to hear about it, we would still highly recommend Real Pro Home to others and were otherwise pleased as outside of this had an excellent experience overall.

We found Real Pro Home Inspectors on Angie's list. After receiving home inspection quotes from many companies, we found Phil the most detailed service provider. He is very professional and always easy to access on the phone. He took time to inspect and answered all our questions. Phil provided a very through and detailed report with images. Phil was also available to answer additional questions we had after the inspection. I would absolutely use and recommend Real Pro again for home inspection.

Phil was very informative and detailed in his explanation of the home inspection. We accompanied him during the inspection and he explained each issue he uncovered with recommendations of how to repair or replace. We were told we'd have the report back in 2-3 days but received it that same night. The report was 32 pages and extremely detailed which we liked. This report will be extremely helpful even after we move in.

Phil was early, which was much appreciated. Very thorough, and very personable. He pointed out numerous items that needed to be addressed by the seller. Some of them were quite important. For example, Phil is a licensed mold inspector as well, so is an expert in that regard. He noticed some potential issues in the basement that were not seen previously - saving everyone an immense amount of trouble.
