We had 2 bathroom vents that were leaking on 2nd floor. Ernie came to the home and detected the issue right away. He replaced the broken vents on the roof and we hadn't had any issues since. Ernie was very nice and professional. I would use EAD Home Improvements for future projects and repairs.

Ernie did an awesome job! I had an issue where the siding was coming off the house. I had a few people come in and give estimates. Each one wanted to nail the bottom back in and leave the rest of it when the proper way to do it was to take everything down and put it back up which is exactly what Ernie and his crew did. I would use them again and recommend them for any roofing or siding project needed.

Prompt and experienced. Worked efficiently and cleaned up with no residue of work. Reasonable cost. I am looking to utilize his talents down the road.

Ernie came on time and supplied me with a free estimate that was less then I had expected. After deciding to go with EAD for the work which was a complete tear off and replacement of an asphalt shingle roof he was easy to work with to schedule the work. Heavy rain was expected the following day so he and his crew arrived early and completed the job in one day. When finished my yard was cleaner then before they started and the new roof looks excellent. I would definitely recommend him and plan on using EAD for other work on my home.

Ernie did a great job fixing the leak in my roof. He came out the next day for a free estimate, gave me options to fit my needs, came by when it was convenient for me to do the work, did a nice clean job and the leak seems to be sealed well. Unlike others Ernie came when he said he would. He was a pleasure to deal with. Did a great job at a very reasonable price. When he was finished he cleaned up so well you wouldnt know anyone was there. I have 3 dogs and Ernie went over the area with a rolling magnet to may sure they would not step on any nails. Excellent honest carpenter! Does what he says and will not nickel and dime you for every little thing. He was replacing a rotting header and found some additional rot. He didn't charge me extra. I am sure other companies would have!

The short version is "FANTASTIC". This has been by far the best experience I've had in a home improvement project. The first time I spoke to Ernie by phone, he was very patient and answered all of my questions. He was truly a professional. He was also very prompt and explained everything to me in our first meeting. He climbed to my roof, came down and explained everything. EAD, Ernie, is the answer!! Incredible workmanship and customer service!! From the first call Ernie it was evident that this was going to be a good experience, I was WRONG It was GREAT!!! I actually am an owner of a roofing company but in Maryland so when I needed work done ASAP at my NJ home I turned to HomeAdvisor which lead me to Ernie. Its nice to experience a pleasant transaction with another service provider in your industry !! I would with NO hesitation recommend EAD, to anyone looking for HONEST and Quality WORK. I can't thank him enough for addressing my roof issue and fixing it honestly , he even sent me pictures as he addressed the issues , since I am back in Maryland while the work was being performed. Class A act. From one contractor to another Great JOB and from one Home Owner to another no reservations , the job will be done right and at a reasonable price!! Ernie did a fantastic job and is very professional. We called to get a quote on a leaky pipe that extends through the roof. He quoted a really decent price for the fix and we decided to have him replace the rubber seals of all 3 roof pipes as a precaution. (2 were leaking) He showed up (a little early, which is great!) on time for the appointment, and finished the job quickly. I really appreciated that this all took place in less than a week, this included having to wait out the rainy days.) I have several other projects around the house that will need repairing and I will definitely be hiring him again!

We called for a quote to fix a leaking water heater stack and to replace flashing on our chimney. Ernie responded quickly, provided a reasonable quote, and finished the job promptly. He recommended copper flashing which to my surprise turned out not only to be practical but it is also quite attractive. Not only did he fix the leaking water heater stack but he took the time to repair a few our missing shingles, remove the dish tv mounting bracket, and he kept the job site very clean. Shortly after he made the repair we had a bad rain storm. He took the time to call us just to be sure the repair was holding up to the strong wind and rain. Couldn't ask for more. Would definitely recommend.

E A D Home Improvements was the best decision that my wife and I made to accomplish our roofing job. Although we had gotten a number of estimates from other contractors, E A D came in with the best offer, without cutting corners, for the money. They will beat any estimate and will NOT force any other unnecessary work on you just to make extra money. When Ernie Duffy came over, he explained the entire job in terms which were clear and concise. The contract was written in a way which was easily understandable and he explained everything. He was here from start to finish; when the shingles arrived, during complete tear off and installation, during clean up ( which was immaculate ), when the new gutters were installed and even when the dumpster got picked up to be sure that the driveway was cleaned under the dumpster. He even stopped by a week later to see if we were completely satisfied with the job and if we had any issues. His crew were true professionals, not day laborers looking to make a quick buck. Clean up, again, was immaculate. The day after the job was completed, I raked my lawn in preparation to put down fertilizer and found only 2 nails between the front and back. They worked from the time they got here until quitting time and the job was completed in 1 1/2 days. This company is truly a professional business and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for any home improvement job that you may have. We can only give 5 stars, but I give them 10++.
