Make sure you get everything in writing with these guys. Do not trust them on their word. Get all the contract and warranty documents in advance. They will not provide them at all. I had a raccoon problem and the first goal was to be super quick to respond. I read the reviews and gave her the job. I was promised professional service and highly skilled employees and got the opposite. On my initial visit, they were an hour and a half late. I was assured that if there was an animal in my attic, they would find it. They did not. The tech completely missed a nest of babies that was in a dormer in my attic. He did not bring a camera and was completely unprepared. He did not understand hidden attic spaces even after I repeatedly explained the layout. I gave him detailed information, and all he found was a pile of droppings in the attic. He installed the raccoon tunnel and left a huge mess all over my roof. I heard the babies that night and informed them. I was told that a tech would return the next day, and I waited all day for them. They did not show up at all. After contacting them again, they showed up the next day, and I had to show them where the babies were. I had no problem allowing them to cut into my ceiling because I knew that the babies were alone. The tech only found two of the remaining babies (there were five total). He came unprepared, and my wife had to give him a cooler to put the babies in. He left a huge mess of insulation and dust in my home and did not clean up after himself. I heard more babies in the attic that night, and two days later, they came again. That is when I finally met Dan. Dan was good at his job and found two of the remaining three babies in the dormer (one already starved to death). He told me he fired the original technician because he was completely incompetent. I felt bad about that, but business is business. If you have an employee who continues to mess up, then I suppose that is necessary. Personally, I think that it was due to a lack of proper training by the employer. He cleaned out a few bays of insulation, and I was told that they would return in 2 weeks to sanitize and clean the remainder of the contaminated space. Nobody contacted us to do the final part of the project, so we had to reach out ourselves to get them to return. They showed up late again, and it was the employee who was supposedly fired for being incompetent. I was fine with that. The problem was that it was not communicated to him that he was supposed to clean the dormer and the droppings left in the attic. In order to properly sanitize the space, they would have had to remove more drywall from the attic ceiling under the dormer. It was impossible to get there otherwise. They refused to do the work and left it unfinished. I had to hire another contractor to do the work, and they found another starving baby raccoon. I asked for the 3 year warranty information and, to this day, have received nothing. Do not trust any verbal communication from them if you decide to use them. Find a more reputable company to do the work for. I am all about supporting small businesses, but first and foremost, they lack the integrity and honesty that is necessary. WRITE DOWN ALL CONVERSATIONS. Do not trust their words. Get the supposed three-year warranty in writing. The invoice does not tell you anything. If Dan shows up, you are probably in good hands. Otherwise, they lack proper training and do not understand how a house is built. Do not trust the sales pitch either. They came unprepared and had none of the things promised. I am still waiting for photos from my insurance company and still waiting for a warranty statement. I did 90% of the work (identifying and locating) and I had to provide most of the tools. The bottom line is to find someone else. Find a more reputable company that communicates, shows up on time, and is properly trained. WRITE DOWN EVERYTHING.

Had squirrel's nest under solar panels with about 5 squirrels living there. Called many companies including my Solar provider and not one would touch the problem. First and Goal was the only one with a solution even though it was pricey. Apparently, they perfected a system to remove and keep wildlife from nesting under the panels without touching or harming the panels. I recommend them for anyone with a similar problem as they are willing to do the job, promptly and effectively.

Quit response great service

I haven't had my first appointment with 1st and Goal yet. They have set me up for June 6th. I have been using Terminix, but 1st and goal sounds like a better program. The technician, Richard explained all of the details to me. Cheaper in the long run too, gets rid of the rodents....and will not harm my house cat.

An in the initial estimate of $750 and up for the job ended up as $2,500. For wire mesh on the gable vents and removal of a newborn raccoon from the attic. The mother left on her own accord so there was no need to provide/prepare a live trap and no need for relocation of the mother or the kit.

I have been using Dan and Richard's company for a few years now and always receive great service. I called yesterday and they were here today. Vinny just left my house and went above and beyond expectations. Very thorough and highly recommended. Thanks, guys.

Came same day and got the job done

On time, on target. Dan and his crew did me a solid. They arrived early, inspected everything, and did what was needed. I highly recommend 1st & Goal! And the price was right!

Pretty good but he charged a lot for a second duct cover, much more than expected.

They showed up on time, were very nice. They communicated well and were quick but efficient with the job. It's too soon as of right now to be able to say if it worked 100% but I feel confident about the results.

The squirrel removal process went exactly like 1st and goal said it would. It took about a week but I no longer have the problem and now I can sleep in my bed without the horrible sound of squirrels scurrying back and forth. Bless you

The company was very helpful and was concerned about my situation with the rodents

The guy who dropped off the trap was nice enough, but we were not made aware when they came back to pick up the opossum. They also did not know they were supposed to leave a new trap as we paid for it. I had to call and they made a second trip. This problem was resolved further by the owner calling and apologizing and offering that if we have another pest problem in the future they will come pick up for free if we set our trap. Great customer service!
