Beware of Shady Practices and Overcharging I had a very disappointing experience with New Method Restoration and feel compelled to warn others. When they came to assess the damage to my home, their primary focus seemed to be on scrutinizing my homeowner's insurance policy rather than the actual damage. It became clear that their quote was based on what they thought my insurance would cover, not on the actual scope of work needed. Not only was their approach opportunistic, but they also overcharged outrageously for the work. Their scare tactics made it seem like I had no other choice but to hire them, but in hindsight, I wish I had taken my time to get a second opinion. Their lack of transparency and professionalism was a major red flag that I regret overlooking. To make matters worse, after the job was completed, they refused to provide the promised pictures and detailed report. Folks are truly amazing. Available in less than half hour for review. Started work in an hour. Done in 7 hrs. Worked via insurance taking all that from me. Referred to plumber(who was there within an hour as well) and reconstruction company. Really left me nothing to worry about. And that's the sewage water damage we talking about. I was devastated when it happened, but it was all contained, cleaned up and fixed same day (and that's on 23 of December!) Can't recommend any better. Nicco and team are amazing!!

The company handled all the Insurance paperwork and did a great job of identifying the source of the leak and removing the water that had been leaked and drying.

I get tears when I think of how this company has restored my home after a major smoke damage. Every wall, furniture and fixtures where blacked from sooth, then came along Josh. He arrived at my home and promised to make every room in the 3 floors clean, he was so compassionate and confident in his restoration. Then his team arrived,they came in with surgical booties to not bring dirt into my home, they arrived with large fans, industrial Heppa filter machines, vacuums,floor and furniture protectors and got to manually cleaning everything. The solvent that they used to clean smelt real good. They went beyond duty, removed even some mold concentration in the basement and removed a lot of waste that was sitting in my home, and cleaned My attic entrance. My walls, furniture, fixtures and floor are shiny again, my home smells great and looks so beautiful, you would never know I had a fire. The team was so professional, I am still in awe of how well they worked together and how I enjoyed having them in my home, I even miss them...Nikko, the other boss is a gem. He called me most evenings to get my feedback on how the job was going and dropped by with the team to ensure all was well. They took the time to ensure that the job was not rushed and done well. The most amazing thing for me was their flexibility, they worked with me to complete the job while my son was at school, each day my son came home there was not a trace that there were workmen there they cleaned up well after themselves. If I could give the 10 stars I would, I have had so many workmen in my home over the years, however, I honestly have never met a team like this, they must be the best restoration company in NJ. They made it okay again to love my home. Thanks New Method, you guys rock!!!
