Description of Work: Mr McCoy gave an analysis of the issue with my sink and gave me my options. He did some investigating and figured a way to solve my issue without a major overhaul and without it costing me a lot of money. Mr McCoy will be my official plumber going forward. I've had many plumbers over the past 14 years. He is the only one I would ever call back.

Description of Work: Real McCoy Plumbing did a repair on a toilet. It was a holiday weekend, so it took a few days to respond to my call and set up an appointment which I was fine with. It wasn't an emergency.

+ 0 moreSee above. I live on the fringe of his service area--pretty far away, actually, so it took a while to set up a visit, and it would be unrealistic for him to do follow up work except on a big job.
Description of Work: He walked around with me and answered my questions about fixing plumbing problems in the house. He didn't bring equipment to do anything, though I think that draining water heater was supposed to be part of the service; however, I didn't really care, as he was very cooperative and pleasant, and seemed very knowledgeable, and gave good suggestions on how to handle issues.

I never have to clean behind Mike and he has another young man that works with him, but I have never had any problems with them what so ever. The price had to have been fair or my husband wouldn't have used him. They never had to come back to fix anything. Once it's done, it's done.

Noticed the difference in water in three days and the gas line that was installed is much better than what I have had done in the past. Would absolutely use again for any plumbing project.

Description of Work: Cleared a difficult to reach shower drain. Adjusted a hot water situation in a master bath tub. Diagnosed a low water pressure condition in a kitchen sink and suggested getting parts free from manufacturer. Parts are on the way. Tested water for hardness, confirmed softener is working properly.

+ -1 moreHe came over on Labor Monday since the old faucet was leaking and we had to shut it down. I think that shows great costumer service to actually come over on a big Holiday weekend. A+++ The most important job he did for us was in July 2012 when he installed all the plumbing in our basement bathroom. Everything is working great.and we have never had any issues.

He did the work and he did it fairly quickly. I checked it over and it was expertly done. He cleaned up after himself. I have since talked to him about more work. He was very reliable, professional, and reasonably priced and I would recommend him to anyone.

+ 0 moreAfter I told Mike that it appeared a pipe burst and that my wife was at home with our 16 month old son he went directly to our house despite having his kids with him. His daughters (who were delightful as well) happily played with my son and wife as Mike quickly resolved the issue and even cleaned up the mess. What more can you ask for?

+ 1 moreReal McCoy plumbing is a great local plumbing service. Mike showed up on time and made sure that I was happy with the service they provided. I couldn't ask for anything more.
Description of Work: I live in Florham Park NJ. I moved here three months ago. The water I found to be very hard. I noticed that my skin became very dry and that my fixtures were turning white in my bathrooms and kitchen. My neighbors recommended Real McCoy because Mike is the only certified installer of Nuvo H20 in NJ. Once the water softener was installed I noticed a difference of my skin within 48 hours. I have spoken to my neighbors and they say with time my fixtures will look 100% better. Mike was very informative and never minded answering the several questions that I had regarding the maintenance of the unit. I have scheduled Real McCoy to remodel my master bathroom this spring. I know I will not be disappointed.
